As for merging, I'm fine with that, usually after a month of someone being gone it's safe to say they aren't coming back.

It probably makes sense to merge if we can find an organic way to do it; it’s good to have other PCs to interact with, it cuts down on the number of groups Pat needs to keep track of, and (unlike Sara / Congruence / Tsun) we’re all still in Sigil and on pretty much the same timeline.
Myriana has been pretty tied into Zadkiel’s errands / quests, but being a cat its quite believable she could get bored or distracted and wander off. Connecting with Tollard (and or Alyse) at St Cuthbert’s this evening doesn’t stretch believability too much.
The main problem I can see is that Alyse and Tollard’s current activities may not gel with what Myriana would like to pursue – at the moment we’re working for a lawyer and spending a lot of time in libraries and bookstores, rather than the bars, dance venues and bondage gear vendors that Myriana has been hanging out in. What do you think?

Ah, but think of the entertainment if she got bored. Most of where we've been has been for Zad's story, I've just been along for the fun. Working for a lawyer might generate some fun, especially if it requires sneaking and snooping for info.

Tibbit, I haven’t seen one of those for a while. I vaguely recall playing in a game where one of the other PCs was a Tibbit, though I can’t recall the details. I suspect it was either one of the Planescape games (which always had a revolving cast of colourful PCs) or the short lived game where all the PCs were ‘monstrous’ races (can’t remember them all, but there was a minotaur, a pixie, some sort of reptilian, and something ‘catty’, maybe the Tibbit … or maybe it was a Tabaxi …).
Though all those games were 2nd ed., was the race around for that?
I think it was and got updated in the Dragon Compendium. I had never heard of it until one of my old players wanted to use the race. She eventually dropped out, but her character was dating Nye at the time (after he saved one of their friends from Judge Gabberslug's court). I figured she'd make a good NPC.

Yes, Patrick, definitely take care and update when you can. You have been doing an amazing enough of a job that I know I have no problem with whatever update schedule works for you (and I'm definitely not the best about regular updates some weeks!). Fast, slow, or random - I'll be here as long as you'll have me. :)
Plus, I'm hoping to start my family on a Planescape home game this weekend, and your stuff has certainly been an inspiration to start that. Thanks!
Oh, and thank you everyone for the kind thoughts on Congruence. I mainly decided that rather than going the pseudo-robot kind of angle, to try picking just a few particular rules that made sense for the modron and then seeing how long they could hold up. Figured "wanting every day to see the first person ever encountered in life" would be something that made sense to feel consistency and that would be interesting when it inevitably couldn't continue. Didn't originally plan Congruence's first emotion to experience would be worry, but it's been interesting exploring their emotional development. :)
You all are making this a really enjoyable game!
(Also, Congruence might soon have emotional development to at least use singular pronouns if not become gendered or switch to something like ze or xe - because English does not handle a singular we/they/us very well at all! Lost track of how many accidental "he" and "his" I've had to edit out of my posts. But it's an interesting learning experience.)
I'm a bit confused how our combat is going to take place. Did you roll attack for us Patrick?
Mothy has the way of it. Roll your attacks. If you do enough damage to kill the goblin their attack will not occur.

Just a heads up, I will be away in China for about two weeks from the 1st of April. During that time I’m not sure how much internet access I will have, how much time I will have to get on, and whether I’ll be able to get access to Paizo. Towards the end of the trip I’ll be in Hong Kong which might mean improved access. I’ll try to keep up with my pbp games if I can, but please NPC my character if required to keep things moving along.

Just a heads up folks. I am going through yet another round of personal issues. I apologize since it feels as if I am forever posting apologies, but these past couple of years have thrown me some real curveballs.
I am on track to graduate next month and start job hunting. Assuming that I can find a job quickly, I hope to have my life more in tune. However, I still have to get through all that.
Does this mean I wont post? Not at all. However, it might mean I am a bit slow on the updates. Please bear with me and hopefully I will have my life settled and rolling ahead in an orderly fashion by the end of summer.
Thank you all again for sticking with me. I do enjoy GMing you all and I hope to do it for many a year to come.
