So. Some thoughts about the future of the game.
While I think we have been having some fun in Sigil, I would like to move beyond simple chores and on to some regular-style adventuring. The Plantar Trade Consortium could be a springboard. Sara and Congrunence will be going in this direction. Anyone who thinks this might work for them is also welcome to do so.
However, this is not the only option. If anyone has another thought or desire, I can and will be happy to oblige. Although I would like to consolidate everyone soon into bigger groups, that can still be two or three discrete groups. Some options to consider:
The Outlands option: Go with the Planar Trading Consortium on a caravan trip to the Outlands. Possibly visit a few of the Portal Towns
The Faction Option: Diplomatic skullduggery among the factions of Sigil. Less sword swinging, more brain work and skill checks.
The Mercenary option: Plunder and adventure lie beyond every portal! The Swordhold district is the place to find employment in an adventuring company.
Just some thoughts. Let me know what you think!

I dunno, plundering sounds like Congruence's style... :)
Congruence lifts his sword high, and with an amusing attempt at a mean face, lets loose a battle cry, "We must collect masterwork leather armors from our enemies!"
Seriously, however, any of those options would be fun but I am also really enjoying the direction we are going in. Got the best chore friend ever, and it would be great having others along as well!

I agree with Zad, a combination of the three would be good.

Dammit Congruence. Have you been reading my pirate romance novels again?

I would lean towards the Outlands, but I am up for anything. :)

I’d like us to consolidate as a group somewhat, but happy for that to happen as the story dictates rather than force it too much. On that note, CH, are you happy for Tollard to join the Alyse / Calita group (at least for the moment)? I wanted to bring you in as it appears that Tollard’s previous partner has left the game, but if you preferred to run with Tsun or Zad and Myriana I think they’re all around at the moment.
I’m happy with any or all of the options. I’ve never actually played a Planescape game where the characters being part of a faction was a big part of the story – it could be interesting, on the other hand it could be problematic as I imagine that most of us would end up gravitating towards different factions. I’m not quite sure which faction Alyse would gravitate towards, but most likely the Indeps … who in some ways aren’t really a faction, so probably not the best for a Faction politics type game.
Alyse would probably gravitate towards the mercenary option in some ways, but she won’t necessarily seek it out herself, without a push in that direction – chance, fate or the encouragement of a friend. The Planar Trading Consortium would quite appeal to her as well. Out of character, I’ve found the Outlands a little boring in some previous Planescape games, though that’s probably down to the GMs, who tended to run the Outlands as ‘Prime Material with distance-distortion’. The portal towns would be fun though.

Just to clarify: I am very pleased with the game as is. I hope you are as well. I want this to be collaborative in nature. If you all are happy with the pace and direction, then we shall continue with the status quo as it is.
If anyone has suggestions or thoughts never be afraid to post them

Hope you had a good one! Thanks man.
Eh, I was working, but it was ok. The previous evening I went out for a bit of a birthday dinner and to see a movie - 'Snowden', actually surprisingly good.
Nice! lol... I've only seen kids movies recently. Suicide Squad was the last "adult" one one I saw. I wouldn't mind seeing the new Dan Brown one, Inferno. Finding time, spare cash and someone to go with is the problem.

There is a healthy soupçon of Zaphod Beeblebrox in my rendition of Sly Nye. As well as the Mad Hatter and Coyote.
Yeah, that was awesome. I favourited you post Pat, just for that reference. :)
| Zadkiel the Fallen |
Death records from around the time of Aoskar's fall. I'll be kinda circumspect about what I'm after in particular so as not to reveal too much to Astoril, safer for both of us if he doesn't know exactly what I'm searching for. I'm after Aoskarian clergy and if any are floating around as zombies or other undead so I can get some info from a primary source. If they're zombies or other unintelligent undead I'll need to arrange a speak with dead or something, intelligent I'll need to convince them to share. Either way it's the first step in a long road.
| Zadkiel the Fallen |
Next step is Veria the Erinyes near the Civic Festhall. After a night of drunken debauchery among the Dustmen (never thought I'd type that) I'll head to arrange a meeting and see about owing a debt to a fiend. Myriana is welcome to come along but Zadkiel will understand if she doesn't want to.
By the Empyreal Lords does Zad swim in dangerous waters.

Now that I'm getting the character down I'm looking to start working the setting slang into the mix. Is there a place where some of this is recorded? I think I've asked that before but can't for the life of me find it anywhere.
