Is it the room that's got you stuck, or is it more? If it would help to reboot back to town, or to skip ahead to something new, I don't mind a continuity gap. I've certainly DM'd my way into a corner before that I didn't feel like playing through. Especially after a loss of momentum.
If you'd like to redo the room, I'm game for that. If you'd like to pick up the story at another point, that's good too. And if the game has become work instead of fun, then it's okay to close the door on it. This should never be work instead of fun.

Nah, I think that Pearl is a good enough fighter that usually they get it done. I don't mind the cat saving the day. Unless together they start getting dangerous bad....
Also, I need to remember that I have spells that I can cast in advance of battle...
EDIT: It would also help if my AC were correct! I had that new shield from the dwarf, but forgot to add the AC!! It's updated now.

Is this climbable? How high up is it?
Trying to picture the lever - is it sticking out perpendicular from the wall? How big is it? Is this the gravity lever? Can I tell what direction of force would trigger it? Something safe to throw a rope over? I really don't want to trigger it and fall into the abyss.

About, say twenty feet 'up'.
The lever is on the ground of the ledge, sticking out of the ground. It is currently pointing 'up' (if you were standing in front of it like normal). It is pretty large, imagine something that takes a full body motion to turn. You could probably hook it with a lasso.
Good answers?
