It was actually medieval camping, and it was super awesome! Got to wear costumes, do archery and leather crafts and stuff, and sword school, and sleep in sweet canvas tents. If you're ever in this neck of the woods you should check it out! Good Knights

I doubt I will ever find myself near Calgary, to be honest. Not that I'd mind, I just find it unlikely.

I hope you like Thom, he was my co-gm's idea!

I do like Thom! Very much!

There will be no posts until Paizo says the forums are working again. Don't want anything lost.

I'm going to need to do a round-up post to make sure we both remember everything.

Hopefully this is finally fixed! Paizo is like this...

That about sums it up.

Seems to be working now, feel free to post when ready.

At first I imagined it like a wheel lying down, rotating around the ground, but then you said up out of sight...is it like a water wheel on the side of the mill? When you step inside, is there a stable place to stand, or would you have to keep walking to remain on the bottom, like a hamster wheel?

Yes, like a hamster wheel, exactly. The bar (with the drinks and such) rolls along so it stays on the bottom.

It was tough to describe using vocabulary appropriate to the game. Sorry.

this time she found a little bottle on it, (`which certainly was not here before,' said Alice,) and round the neck of the bottle was a paper label, with the words `DRINK ME' beautifully printed on it in large letters.

And of course I rolled the most complicated drink.

But I think you will like it.

It's funny, I just finished reading alice in wonderland to my kids, so that was the first thing I thought of when I read about the wheel of drinks! Looking forward to opening pandora's box of memories!

Excellent timing!

There will be no posts from Monday, September 10th to Friday September 14th, as I will be in the wilds of Sequoia National Park.

Back, but jetlagged. Post up today or tomorrow.

All well?

That was a great scene! It actually choked me up a little.

Is the man the same one from her locket?

It is not.

What's the mechanics here? If Bo is super drunk, does she just need to wait it out? I'm happy to write some fluff about her spinning around in the wheel for a while until she sobers up, or is it a matter of going home and sleeping and coming back tomorrow?

I am thinking just fluff for now. I will sprinkle in some plot and make sure we don't get derailed by Bo having to sleep it off.

It'll cure what ails you.

I'm going to have to take a break for a week or two - I'm really swamped right now, and I don't want to half-ass this game. Hopefully by next weekend I'll be ready to go.

I understand entirely. Post here when you are ready to start. The joys of a solo game, no one else is effected!

How are things?

Funny, I was just about to message you today. Things are calming down (somewhat), so I think I'm ready to jump back in.

Yeah, but now I forget everything....

SORRY!

You don't love the constant fey deals?

*I* like them. *Bo* is tired of them. :)

Sorry for delay, work has been busy.

How is the visit going?

I will try to keep this side quest to a minimum but I will try to fold in some larger plot.

Visit is good!

Side quests are fine with me, I'm in no hurry.

Enjoy your barfight!! :)

Should I avoid spiders? I can retcon them to some other unsavory creature of caves. Unless you want to meet Shelob.

No, as long as you don't imbed any video clips that I have to watch, I'll be fine. :)

Sorry for the delay, December life is nuts. I'll probably be afk until Sunday.

I understand, it is a busy time for many people. Take your time!

Back? How are things?

Hello? Want to run something past you before we keep going.

Sorry, I missed this somehow. Things are good, still very busy. I'm adjusting to a new job. What's on your mind?

I think I have failed you a bit as a GM.

To cut a long story short, I am without my usual backstop co-gm person (nothing serious) for the last while. I feel I messed up by giving this mine sidequest. That, combined with your own busy-ness (which is fine, of course) has caused the game to get lost in the weeds a bit and waste time (real life time in weeks or months!).

Do we just want to skip over things and get back to the main plot or am I over reacting?

A little overreacting, I think. :)

I don't mind the side quest. I'm in no hurry. If I can't stop to smell the roses, or slay the spiders, then what's the point? :)

Lead on!

In the mood for a traditional DnD puzzle/trap room? Consider it a late Xmas present!

Yay! I love a good puzzle room!

So, what's the deal? Been awhile since you posted last!

Not true! Lucky number three, over a week ago!

Wow, it was all my fault.

I'm so sorry! I feel horrible.

No worries! I've done the same thing.

In Mexico...back Tuesday. Will post then.

Sorry for the delay - came home to chaos!

I don't see x's on the pit for this lever, and my husband helpfully cleaned up my piece of paper that had the notes for the first lever. Any chance I could get the info for both? *helpfully bats eyelashes*
