Though it was wonderful to smell the fresh air again, Bo was far too tired to face the long walk down to whatever city was down there. Seeing Pearl's desire to leave the cave, she gave the cat permission to go hunting. It didn't look like there was much game down there, but maybe there were some mice or rabbits that her carnivores could catch for their dinner.
Settling down near the opening of the caverns, Bo slid her pack off and found some rations to eat. Her water was getting scarce - hopefully she'd find a water source soon or she'd be thirsty by the time she reached the city tomorrow.
After Pearl and Shriek returned from their hunt, Bo moved a bit deeper into the gloom of the cavern, curled up on her bedroll, and slept.
