Aww, ya sure know how ta make a lady blush, you old charmer you. Now if'n you kin use that big sword o' yours I see hanging from yer waist as good as you use that purty mouth o' yours, why, we may just have a match made in heaven. Course, there's about a million o' them damned undead bastards 'tween you n' me at the moment, so I hope yer not shootin' blanks with that big pistol o' yours.
(Sorry, couldn't resist! She just talks to damn loud! Heh heh )
Cassian Vespertine |
Lol! No worries, Di. Watching you command those soldiers just reinforces your position as 1st mate when Cassian gets back in command on his ship (whenever that'll happen :-p). I'd say the two characters compliment each other pretty well so I'm really excited to get them back together. Things have changed quite a bit in the few hours its been since they were chatting in the tavern, haha!

Havoc here just thought I'd share my awesome Swordmaster haven't decided he if I wan his lvl 1 feat to be exotic bastard sword or not yet...kinda like the greatsword but like the versatility of the bastard sword. He's my WotR character.

Interesting. Guessing it's a 3PP class?
Leon Cross |
Yea, and its a pretty cool class. Since I've always like Cloud Strife, Dante, really any character who uses a two handed weapon and yet doesn't wear heavy armor when I heard about a class that let me do that I was like "Hell yeah!!".
I love the tactical aspect this character has you can't just sit there and full attack your damage would be horrible. Instead you've got to build up your compounds one of my favorites from the PDF is called Wings of Death, if you descend 10 feet prior to the attack you deal triple sword art damage and your staggered for 1 round.
Some others modify your next attack or give you opponent a penalty. It'll be really fun on e the campaign gets started. :)
Cassian Vespertine |
Neat. Sounds a bit like 3.5's Tome of Battle. Never got a chance to play one of the classes it introduced but I always liked the mechanics.
Leon Cross |
I could see that as part of the inspiration. One really cool ability for flavor reasons is at lvl 5 you treat all sword as if they were sentient. So find a sword wielded by a villain and feel the evil deeds imprinted in the steel. How cool is that?
Cassian Vespertine |
No problem, Cori. We all have our priorities so take your time :-)
Good luck!
Cassian Vespertine |
Cool beans! Not gonna lie, it's been a nice little hiatus. I definitely needed a quick vacation from the boards.
DM Corerue |
Okay some annoucement's.
1) Sorry for the slow posts RL has been repeatedly kicking me in the face both financially and electornically and the recovery of my Homebrew notes has gone poorly. Which has caused me to try and recall everything mentally and rewrite all that was once written...
2) As the Crosses already know I have been reading over Mythic Adventures and the wrath of the righteous campaign and wish to invite only the players here to join that adventure with me as the GM. Since it is published material it'll be far easier on me time wise to post as the material is already prepared.
I've already received ADventure part 1 & 2 and have thourghly read through them while dealing with my sick kids.
So if you feel like joining Wrath of the Righteous please begin making charcters, same way as the ones in this thread were originally made. In the campaign tab the information is still there. The only difference is you will all be lvl 1.
As for races, Tiefling will be a difficult one to play as their is a major racial intolerance for them in the towns and garrisons that surround the worldwound. For those of you wanting to play as them I say do so at your own risk. Tabaxi are still a viable option and this will be based of course in Golarion.
I am putting my kids to bed atm and will make some catch up posts here shortly.

1d3 + 15 ⇒ (2) + 15 = 17
1d10 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13
4d6 ⇒ (5, 1, 2, 2) = 10
4d6 ⇒ (6, 5, 6, 3) = 20
4d6 ⇒ (6, 1, 3, 5) = 15
4d6 ⇒ (4, 3, 1, 4) = 12
So....
Str: 11
Dex: 19
Con: 14
Wis: 13
Int: 19
Cha: 7
Should Wis be 13 and Cha a 7 only problem is feinting is. Big part of this character and I can't take to big a hit there.... I could have Wis a 9 but I don't want to fail every will save we come up against....sigh
And I was hoping to take eldritch heritage abyssal not going to be doing that with a 7..
Jaeger di Angelo |
So...Corerue two things...
One, can the Swormaster be proficent in swordlike weapons much like the tengu. That way I'm proficent in things like Kukri and daggers which I'm currently not..
And two I just realized when I sent you the Swordmaster PDF that've been misspelling your name this whole time. I didn't realize their was a second R.
Jaeger di Angelo |
Actually It was three questions forgot the third...while feinting isn't technically a Combat Maneuver and therefore doesn't benefit from Stolen Fury....could it anyway...? Oh pretty please oh controler of the dice.
Jaeger di Angelo |
Ummm....*cough* I sure hope someone posts a paladin. Because I can see all sorts of fun prodding from Jaeger. Also...please if anyone ends up with a bow long or short please invest in angel barb arrowheads (I think that's what their called they are from The Demon hunters handbook) I would but I'm not proficent in martial weapons only swords. Which I personally think should include exotic swords as well. It is the SWORDmaster after all.
Khaladon |
Ok Sounds interesting. I'm in. Are pc's made the same standard way as all pathfinder for this campaign, the only difference being the stat rolling?
Cuz I'm obviously missing something, because how did Jaegar get two 19's and Ethyra get a 20 out of those rolls?
GeraintElberion |
This is why I prefer point-buy...
16
9
7
8
15
15
That's a 20-point-buy but I'm averse to dumping. I wouldn't put together 20 points like that.
Meanwhile Jaeger has a 32-point stat array and Ethyra has a 38-point stat array.
So, my character will just be holding them back and/or in their shadow and I'll have to build a cowardly glass cannon archer paladin to avoid getting in the way. Or a lumbering schmuck, but they're boring.
Jaeger di Angelo |
1d3 + 15 ⇒ (1) + 15 = 16
1d10 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16
4d6 ⇒ (5, 1, 3, 5) = 14
4d6 ⇒ (5, 3, 2, 6) = 16
4d6 ⇒ (3, 3, 4, 4) = 14
4d6 ⇒ (3, 4, 3, 1) = 11
Use this set?
16
16
13
14
11
10
Nothing to high but you'd start off with one stat at 18 and no negatives ( assuming human]

Been a CRAZY week! I apologize for the delay and whatnot. I'll try to draw up a new character when the swelling in my brain goes down a step or two. Thanks for your patience, team! Sorry for holding things up. If you haven't already, feel free to read the harrowing spoiler Corerue left for me a few posts ago! It will not disappoint.

Swelling?! I hope you mean that figuratively and not literal. :/
Curious...1d100 ⇒ 60
Nope you still know the exact position of the sun :)

Since I found the class I KNEW the campaign I wanted to use it in was WoTR. I plan on him being very flashy and flamboyant. Even sneaking in a bit of parkou withbthebway some of his abilities work. ^_^
Khaladon |
Right, time to roll...
1d3 + 15 ⇒ (1) + 15 = 16
1d10 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12
4d6 ⇒ (2, 6, 1, 2) = 11
4d6 ⇒ (2, 2, 3, 1) = 8
4d6 ⇒ (5, 3, 1, 2) = 11
4d6 ⇒ (4, 3, 4, 1) = 12
So
16
12
10
7
10
11
I'm assuming that warrants a reroll as well :P
Attempt #2
1d3 + 15 ⇒ (2) + 15 = 17 =17
1d10 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8 =8
4d6 ⇒ (4, 4, 2, 1) = 11 =10
4d6 ⇒ (5, 1, 2, 3) = 11 =10
4d6 ⇒ (6, 5, 6, 1) = 18 =17
4d6 ⇒ (2, 6, 2, 4) = 14 =12
Sigh, I suppose that'll have to do. Can anyone give me a link or two to get more info on the AP so I can decide on a class & race? Read the AP description but it's pretty sparse.
