Tessara - Conjurer |

Tessara springs up, having been awoken by Shien. She immediately unlocks Batwing's cage and dressers herself quickly before sitting down with her spell book to prepare her daily spells.
After she finishes, she reports up deck, hair tied back and ready for action. "Hal, what's the situation? Pirates, air elemental, Dragon? We really should get a harpoon..."
Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18 Since there's no rigging, there's nothing I could potentially hang from, is there? Like, hanging by rope or something?

Hal the Sky Stalker |

Hal shrugs at Tessara, grinning in anticipation. I have no idea, we can't see much yet! Now maybe someone will listen to me about that ballista though? Get ready for battle, it never hurts to be prepared.

Oz Folklore |

The Cloud is rapidly approaching the Rose
and out of curiosity who is the tallest.

Freyja* |

I doubt Freyja is the tallest at 5'4'.
Freyja will Cast Heroism on herself and call Hal and Arioch to her as she stands with her bow on the bow of the Rose.

Tessara - Conjurer |

"Yes, Hal, and we should also build a crow's nest, and maybe some faux rigging, as well. So then our ranged fighters will have a place to fire from." She then backs away from the three, bracing herself at the tables.

Teleron Haloron |

"Well that is not the news i would like to hear, here i thought that we would have a calm relaxing trip silly me. Perhaps we should focus on the task at hand with what we do have than worry about what our next move is, just a thought.
to Hal:Ready for your orders.
a hint of humor is a flash in his eyes and a poorly concealed eagerness in his limbs.

Oz Folklore |

Two wicked looking bolts of black lighting rips from the clouds striking Siri Through the heart Leaving a burn On the deck behind her. She collapses in a heap.

Arioch the swift |

Arioch is 6'5 and 170 lbs, rolled for it on the random height/weight table for Strix. So he's quite tall it seems and even more so, due to the fact that he has his wings spread out.

Freyja* |

Freyja starts singing again. This time the song is vengeful and full of hate. She prepare to return fire. Bardsong - Inspiring courage, which grants a +1 Morale bonus to saves against fear and charm effects and a +1 to hit and damage competence bonus on attacks and weapon damage.

Oz Folklore |

The cloud part slightly you can see the figurehead of a completely black ship with a woman wearing a Crown pierce though. Looks to be quite a few humanoids with glowing red eyes riding on the ship and hanging from the rigging. Bearing down on the rose.

Mikal Dusk |

From the darkness of the ship, Mikal runs silently to the captain's side. His eyes alight with the impending battle. His muscles taught and eager. His stance is perfect. His hair fades from it's bright orange color to a menacing blackish blue. Perfectly blending into the color of the night sky. He slowly draws his swords, his right hand holding it's sword forward, the one in his left stabbing the air behind him. He whispers softly to Freyja he is ready to protect her and The Rose at all cost.
This is going to be one hell of a fight.

Tessara - Conjurer |

Tessara screams and shoots a lightning bolt at the incoming ship in rage. She steps back, eyes narrowed on the ship with hatred and rage, Batwing resting on her shoulder. Real quick question: Does shooting lightning at someone drenched with water deal extra damage? I'm assuming it would, right? But like, how much?

Freyja* |

With the first sighting of the enemy crew Freyja launches an arrow at a target using a swift action to enact Arcane Strike. She tries to gain some cover from the railing and deck of the Rose.

Damage: 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8
As he does this, he thinks to the Rose, Rose, do you have anything that could help us in this battle? Now would be the time to show me.

Arioch the swift |

Arioch took to the sky, waiting to strike the first of the other ship who would try to board the Rose.
Same question as Shien, are these humanoids actual humans? Strix gain bonuses on attack vs humanoids of the human subtype. Also, what's the distance between us and the other ship? Or will that become irrelevant very soon? :)
