Shien |

Well this place is fantastic. Crimson Rose you say! a fitting name if ever there was one.
Having finished his inspection Shein begins talking to the door of the captain's quarters.
So may I call you Rose, and also do you make your own furniture? If not, where can I find matching items? I quite like the glass look.

Hal the Sky Stalker |

Hal tips his chair back in amazement, Well that's fascinating, the Crimson Rose, well it's a pleasure to be aboard. Can the Rose navigate for itself, or does it need crew to function properly?

Oz Folklore |

No I would say it doesn't break easy in anyway. She needs a crew to share her love but only a captain to fly her and a navigator to know we're you want to go

Tessara - Conjurer |

"Well, that boy over there said I can have his room. Better call off that order, then." Suddenly the ship moves, "I swear that wasn't me! But whoever it was, put us back!" Tessara Messages the laborers and tells them to not break down any walls. Your move, Hal...
"So, I guess we have co-captains, a librarian/chronicler, a navigator, and a mapper. Does this thing have weapons, Simon? Anyone here besides me ever cook for a living?"

Oz Folklore |

No she hasn't ever needed weapons that's something you will have to aquire for yourself if you need them.

Tessara - Conjurer |

"Mind explaining how we outfit some sort of giant bird with weapons? I think that Travelling Aerial Red Deliverance Intercontinental Ship is a good codename for this, don't you?"

Arioch the swift |

Arioch joined the group at the table. "I say if the Crimson Rose didn't need weapons in the past, why start with it now? Between all of us, I think we have enough weapons, skills and magic to stand our own in a fight. Ballistae don't fire themselves and I don't know about you, but I sure as hell don't know how to operate one."
He makes a deep bow and continued. "The name's Arioch the swift. Skilled adventurer, air acrobat and air combatant. I can also hold my own in a fight with both feet on the ground, don't worry."
"Soooo ... have we decided yet who's to be the captain, seeing as we're sitting here and playing cards?"
So the Crimson Rose it is. I wonder if you can hear our thoughts? If so care to share some of your amazing adventures with me? Arioch thought while he waited for a response from the group.

Oz Folklore |

I don't think you and your friends have decided He spins a small crystal on a white/gold chain around his finger.

Arioch the swift |

Arioch the swift |

"Ah, well doesn't really matter for now I guess. Say, Simon, you said your crew isn't on the ship right now, so where are they? Would love to meet them. From what Rose has shown me, you all seem like a very interesting bunch."
While he's talking to Simon, he has a satisfied grin on his face.

Oz Folklore |

They are off adventuring or settled down with family of there own.
Shien The doors too the 2 rooms on the top deck don't open to your touch

Mikal Dusk |

Mikal let's his hand graze against the crystalline walls of the glimmering ship. Marveling in it's wonder and beauty. He feels a strange comfort from the cold touch of the glass as he passes from shadow to shadow. He suddenly stops, leaning his forehead against the wall and pressing his lips to the cold surface through his dark mask, and whispers softly to The Rose.

Arioch the swift |

Arioch pulled up a chair with the back to the front next to Simon and put himself down leaning on it, continuing his conversation.
"Ah, so you're the last one who had to find a place he'd want to stay. I'm glad you came to this part of the world, else I wouldn't have met you , the Crimson Rose and all these other people."
At this point Arioch visibly took notice of the small crystal Simon was spinning around his finger. "My apologies for being so curious, but is that crystal pendant important?" he said pointing at it.

Oz Folklore |

No Honey she was just excited to here me talk about her. And to have so many adventurous souls on board. I am not the last we are all together just we picked this place because this is the town the captains had her made and crisen. I would say this crystal is very important.

Xyla Delacroix |

with a sad expression on face, ears slanted down"I guess, I can be mapmaker and throw in entertainer, and Id like to help with meals and Seamstress and crafting inventions and jewelry and just being hands on, and I would love to help with animal care, which by the way I am claiming one of the large rooms in the bottom of the ship with a hammock so I can keep my dragon in close with me and have plenty of room. I have stuff that I will need to grab from my current area of stay before we venture off."gives a light smile, ears still turned down, and walks away down to room to look over space and whatnot

Arioch the swift |

Strange bugger that Simon is, he first says "They are off adventuring or settled down with family of there own." and then he states "I am not the last we are all together just we picked this place because this is the town the captains had her made and crisen.". Either he's doing some serious riddle speak here, or I'm missing something obvious :)
Arioch was visibly confused by some of Simon's words, trying to figure out where exactly Simon's crew was, but he quickly dropped it to continue the interesting conversation.
"So you're basicly saying you brought the Crimson Rose back to her homeport in order to find her a new crew, so she could continue to go on adventurous journeys? Wait you said captains, as in multiple?"
Arioch then turned his head to the table, looking at the card game in progress. "Tessara, what are we playing actually?"

Tessara - Conjurer |

Tessara looks over at Xyla and says in an attempt at lifting Xyla's spirits, "Hey, plant lady, the captain means nothing if moral is low, right?" She then looks back to Simon "Is that crystal magical? Like, arcane magic? And for that matter, what's up with your feet? And just because you never got into ship-to-ship battle doesn't mean we don't need weapons." Looking at Hal she proposes, "I imagine we can all pitch in to get this ship outfitted, right?"
"I'm not actually sure, Arioch. I think Simon started dealing and I sort of just...went along with it. And on the matter of captain, I think Hal's experience makes him a deserving captain, with Freyja's leadership making her a great first mate. I'm sure she could also take the night shift, if she wanted."
GM, if you send me the description of the ship, along with rough room/hall/deck/whatever dimensions, I can try to work up a simple map.

Arioch the swift |

@Tessara, Would be really cool/appreciated to have a map of the ship. Seeing as we most likely are going to spend a lot of time on it. So thanks for volunteering to make it.
"On again about those weapons are you. They have fought against dragons for Gozreh's sake and she still looks as beautiful as ever, so I personally don't think she needs clunky ballistae on her. But if you don't trust my word on it, you can ask her yourself, if you're willing", Arioch said with a smile on his face before turning back to Simon.
"Mind giving me a quick rundown on the rules, because it sure looks like a fun game."

Oz Folklore |

looks at Arioch Yes the last captains as in there were 2 that ran this ship. Its not hard to be adventuring and together at the same time when it comes to my family. And the game is called 3 dragon anti he explains the rules Google them they exist lol assume he tell your the rules dont remeber them off hand
Dont worry I will make the map myself know one knows this ship like me

Tessara - Conjurer |

"Simon, did you ever meet my mother? Alurra the Sea Witch, she was a pirate queen...or so they say. I never really knew her. She left when I was young. At least the witch left me some gold when she died..."

Arioch the swift |

Ah that game, never played it, did see it laying around in the local game store. My description of it was quite right without me knowing it : "looks like a fun game". Not that it's relevant for the game we're playing other than making nice comments, but are we using the fellowship rule? And I guess you're right about the map making thing, still think it was nice of Tessara to offer to make it.
"So you're saying it's a card game about mortals and dragons and you're basically fighting to see who can get the most gold. Sounds like a good adventure." He pondered a moment about what Simon said about family. "Must say you do seem to have a very unique family. Would be handy being out adventuring and still being together with my family. I do miss em sometimes, but what can I say, I'm a wanderer at heart."

Siri Borealis |

Siri shrugs as Simon mentions that the ship is piloted by will alone.
"Alright well guess I won't pilot then! back to Navigator! oh this is going to be awesome." Siri adds happily.
She then dashes into the bowels of the ship, curious to explore the rest of the ship she'll be calling home for the near future.

Eleanis Riasky |

Freyja and Hal as Day captain and Night Caption with Xyla being Combat Captain. We can all have input but final decision made by a vote between the three Eleanis proposes. I think... I think I would be well suited to be the Ship surgeon.

Masha. |

Masha is somewhat impatient about sailing, but she see no way to hurry her newfound companions. She spent this time exploring the Ship tryng to memorize its rooms and passageways as much as she can.

Tessara - Conjurer |

"Siri, we will probably need some sort of shuttle that will need piloting. Or am I mistaken? But as for captain, I do not feel that Xyla is a good fit. We need someone serious and/or inspiring. Besides, Xyla can't possible fill so many roles efficiently."

Eleanis Riasky |

We should have an odd number of captains. And Xyla, Freyja, and Hal are the only ones who volunteered
This is all pretty fluff anyway. I imagine most decisions, as required, will be made in the Discussion tab between all of us

Oz Folklore |

Well Shien once you all pick a captain and its set ill hand the key over and Leave you on your way. And Tessara why you being so hard on Xyla ,she would make a fine captain if she wanted to be.

Arioch the swift |

"Didn't Shien also volunteer for the position of captain, miss Eleanis?"

Tessara - Conjurer |

"Maybe you have a point, Eleanis. And Freyja. Maybe...maybe we don't need a captain." Tessara stands up. "We're pirates, we're adventurers! We aren't some royal navy, now are we? We lead our own lives, follow our own paths. We all know what's good for ourselves and our futures. Maybe a captain, or two captains, or three, would mess up that synergy. Freyja and Eleanis are right. We need to be equals, with roles aside from captain. We need to each give our two cents and vote on what to do if need be. What's the point in being free if we have captains to override us, huh? So let's vote right here, right now. Everyone gets to decide this moment how we live our lives." She sits back down. "So is it my turn now, Simon?"

Hal the Sky Stalker |

Hal shakes his head, In my experience, a captain isn't necessary for most decisions, things like where to go and what to do, but you certainly need a captain of some kind to make decisions in situations like combat, where there is no time for a vote. Perhaps we need a captain who can make decisions in cases where the rest are split or in scenarios where we have no time for a vote.

Teleron Haloron |

Or we simply divide labor, each of us is in charge of a certain aspect of a crew, we have somone in charge of combat, someone in charge of diplomatic situations, navagation, map making, loot division, moral ect. that way when we come across one of these situations they lead the rest will follow the rest of the time we govern ourselves, vote on where we go or what we do, everyones happy.
Teleron says as he walks across the deck trying to pick out a good place for him to be (since he volunteered his room). As he does he thinks to himself wondering where the crimson rose has been and wonders if they ever sailed in the same skies before.

Tessara - Conjurer |

"I agree with Teleron. By the way, you do know there's 11 of us, and like 19 rooms, right? If you want a room, there's more than enough. But thanks again for offering yours."

Siri Borealis |

Siri comes dashing back up the stairs to the main deck where the debate over the captain is still going on, shakes her head, and lightly floats back to where she thought a wheel should be, closing her eyes tight.
Alright ship, forget all this talk of who should be captain! Simon says all it takes is to want it in your heart... What I really want in my heart is to be up in the sky, like right now... so Up, up and away! Go! RRRRRRRR-shush! Fly magestic ship person/thing! ummm.... hmmm. please? pretty please?
