Resist Level Drain (Ex): A dhampir takes no penalties from energy drain effects, though he can still be killed if he accrues more negative levels then he has Hit Dice. After 24 hours, any negative levels a dhampir takes are removed without the need for an additional saving throw.

Senses Racial Traits
Darkvision: Dhampir see perfectly in the dark up to 60 feet.
Low-light vision: In addition to their ability to see perfectly in the dark up to 60 ft, dhampir have low-light vision, allowing them to see twice as far as humans in conditions of dim light.
Weakness Racial Traits
Negative Energy Affinity: Though a living creature, a dhampir reacts to positive and negative energy as if it were undead—positive energy harms it, while negative energy heals it.
Alternate Racial Traits
Dayborn A few fortunate dhampirs were born during the day under the blessings of priests, and their blood has weaker ties to their undead bloodline than others of their kind. Such dhampirs are unhindered by daylight and lose the light sensitivity racial trait. This racial trait replaces the spell-like ability racial trait.

Backstory
On the island of Salenea there lived a king and queen who ruled the land peacefully as long as you were in thier eyes good. The queen and king had two girls and a son and another on the way. When the night of Telerons birth came it came with the death of the queen during delivery and the realization that his new son was not human. The king at the side of the queen declared that the kingdom must be purged and his blood line would not rest till the filth of the land was cleansed and it would start with the abomination of a child that took his wife away from him. an elven servant overheard this and took Teleron away in secret from the land back to her homeland of calcenta. there Teleron was raised amoung the elves, but Teleron found no sactuary here the curse of the dhampir is not so easily forgotten. One day while out exploring the land he came across the elven Princess Milea Nathor out on a ride and he fell for her in a blink of an eye, and despite all odds she fell for him in time too, suddenly the days were not so dark and happiness found root in Telerons soul when thier wedding day came it was beyond all imagining of happiness for him, alas it would not last. out of the shadows came the crew of the pirate captain Halgon "recruiting" new members for his crew. Teleron was taken prisoner "recruited" to the captains ship. Teleron was taken away never knowing what happened to Milea and prayed she got away in time. Teleron was forced to work for the captain for 5 years and earned respect in the eyes of the captain enough that he trusted Teleron, which led to his downfall, Teleron siezed his chance one night and killed the captain in his sleep as they were docked at a trade port and fled the ship. from there teleron worked upon many ships as a sell sword to find his way back to calcenta to discover what happened to his beloved. he never stayed on one ship for too long because even here his curse followed him where ever he went. at nights he lay awake praying to Ithriea for favorable winds to take him back to the one he loved and in the day his fires of hatred grew for the man that gave him this curse his true"father" and all true vampires spreading this curse upon others and for the bigots of the normal society that drove people like him to evil for that is all that is ever seen in him.
