Yeah, I haven't updated the battle board because I didn't really think we needed it for a battle against a single opponent in melee range. I can if people want it.

On a more serious note I need to determine if I am currently threatened, so I can decide to use kinetic blade (horn shaped), or just use kinetic blast. That was the issue really.

Hmmm, I've been wondering: Does Grash's raging song affect the body? If he took movement related rage powers at some time in the future, would they affect the body?

Just putting out the question while I'm thinking on it.

It probably does. A while back there was someone who could make us fly with the fly spell. I don't really remember the details.

I generally let you affect the body as a separate target for effects like that. A song is a bit of a stretch, but... this game is kind of all stretches. :D

We've toyed with the idea of letting powers affect the whole body, before.

Prestidigitations are minor tricks that novice spellcasters use for practice. Once cast, a prestidigitation spell enables you to perform simple magical effects for 1 hour. The effects are minor and have severe limitations. A prestidigitation can slowly lift 1 pound of material.

Prestidigitation isn't for heavy lifting. BTW for the sheer gluttony records, my BF and his 2 other hungry friends finished 3 lbs of steak in a single meal. I shudder to think how much more Hydra heads would consume.

So I don't think we want to wait for prestidigitation when it comes to lifting stuff.

Pacem has a strength score of 2, which equates to 3 lbs. or less and still remain flying, after tiny size modifier has been applied.

Oddly, it seems that prestidigitation cannot produce flame in pathfinder, even though it could in DnD. Just a few days ago I had someone light a cigar with prestidigitation, which was technically illegal.

Well well well.

This is Gaurwaith, aka Tomorbataar. I knew this day would come one day...I've forgotten the password to my account. I can't say I know. I remember him mentioning something about life and such earlier, though.

And by the way, does this hydra function similarly to how we do (individual heads being different targets, etc.)? Or is it more classical?

Entycer is Storyteller Shadow, who has had a lot of life stuff come up. He's told me he'll likely be back, but probably won't be able to post for a while.

Grash is pretty fun to be too. And while he may not do too much damage himself in combat, you do have to consider the massive amount of buffage he tends to throw around.

The challenge for me as a rogue type is that I have to evaluate when I shrug off raging song, or not, since I can't use abilities that require concentration while raging. I'm not using it for this fight, for example, because I need to vanish (which is an SLA) to be able to sneak attack all my attacks for the round (three attacks, thanks to Zip's haste).

There was the fight with the elven wizard's minions where the raging worked out really well for me, however. I think it granted me a feat? Grapple, maybe?

It gives rage powers: Renewed Vigor (a heal), Savage Jaw (act like you have Grab for an attack), and Lesser Hurling (Throw stuff).

Also: DRUM CRIT! Grash is going to be smug about this. Though it would be better if he could roll damage numbers that aren't 1 a bit more often.
