"We had a whole conversation about it being okay to eat a thing that attacks us!"
The heads did have this conversation, right? I think I remember it, but I can't find in the thread where they had it.
GM_of_the_Heads
So, are you pretty much leaving these lizardfolk with the command to not bother the other lizardfolk and then leaving?
Ziphora
Pretty much. Ziphora isn't going to be nagging people about their life choices and is the last person you should ask with regards to governance.
Grash "Warhead" Varazson
Grash might have things to say if anybody asked him, but isn't really thinking too hard about the whole thing and is more interested in other activities.
If provoked he could easily go into long stories or philosophical discussions about eating and fighting things.
Grash "Warhead" Varazson
Also, in case anyone was wondering, the trivia knowledge roll was to see if Grash knew that many lizardfolk tribes practice pragmatic cannibalism, and would thus be well equipped to understand his viewpoint.
GM_of_the_Heads
So, I've been thinking... is it time to wrap up this campaign? You pretty much rule this area now (if you want to), and I'm a bit tapped out on further ideas right now. Really, I think I'm a bit burnt out in general. What does everyone think?
Beachhead
If you're burnt out, then you're burnt out. I've GMed to that point (and beyond) before, so I completely understand. We've hit a lull in posting, right now, but I hope that's not contributing to thinking about ending things. (If it is, I blame Pacem.)
By "wrap things up," do you mean just stop posting, or do you have a final adventure planned?
Ziphora
Lol. To be honest I just had an experience that more or less burnt me out of PBPs. So I sort of apologize for my rather lack lustre behavior towards the end.
But at least we did get a good run. Maybe with time I'll feel better about playing in the future.
Grash "Warhead" Varazson
I could go either way. I'm still enjoying this overall, but Grash really needs other people to play off to be fun, honestly.
Maybe we could stick together long enough for one last hurrah? Something big and end-y?
GM_of_the_Heads
I can probably think of something ending-ish, depending on what kind of ending we want to go for. How do you imagine yourselves living 'happily ever after'? :D

BLOOD AND FIRE!
While we look on from a huge dance party?
Seriously, maybe something where Beachhead feels tangibly rewarded, rather than just third-party promises of rewards to come.
GM_of_the_Heads
Hmmmm... I could maybe think of an epic final conflict. Perhaps being acknowledged as the lords and lady of the valley after a great victory would be a good ending?
Beachhead
Almonihah, your news has obviously crushed Tom. That must be why he's not weighing in on ending this campaign. The only way to make him feel better is probably to make sure Beachhead gets his black headband with eye holes by the end. That should do it.
Beachhead
Hmmmm... I could maybe think of an epic final conflict. Perhaps being acknowledged as the lords and lady of the valley after a great victory would be a good ending?
That would be a satisfying ending for me! But I also have those doubts about the humans' integrity that doesn't seem to be shared by the other heads. Beachhead might need proof that the humans recognize their titles.
Ziphora
No one cares about fancy titles! At least I don't!
I don't know if the same incident that caused me to burn out on PBPs did the same to Tom as well.
I will say - even after all this while, I still would have done the same thing. I couldn't have done otherwise and still stay true to myself. I have no regrets.
GM_of_the_Heads
Hmmmm... how would you like to defend the valley against an army?
GM_of_the_Heads
Hmmm... should I just fast-forward things to returning in triumph to the other lizardfolk tribe?
GM_of_the_Heads
Apologies, I've kind of let this game go. I'm traveling at the moment, but that's giving me time to think of some things. ;)
So who's still around?
GM_of_the_Heads
Hmmmm... three's not very many. Maybe we should recruit a couple more for this epic final battle.
GM_of_the_Heads
Actually he works for Korvosa, but that's almost Cheliax.
GM_of_the_Heads
I think we may just wait on you given how slow I've been on this.

Hokkaido trip:
Day 1:Flying. Drank a red wine and a beer. Beer was making me bloated at high altitudes which leads me to think I shouldn't drink beers at high altitudes. But I slept decently for a plane, better then the return trip.
Day 2: We went to Gorokaku Park. It hosts a rebuilt star shaped fort that the design was supposedly given to the mayor after they gave aid to French sailors ill from scurvy. Pics here
I just got off the plane so I was in jeans and a T-shirt, bloody cold it was even after I put on my grey wooly coat.
Hokkaido is a hard place to dress for. Too many temperature variations. Like last few days I was fine in T shirt and jeans and no coat.
At night we went to Mt Hakodate to see the Night scene, which was beautiful, but also freaking cold. And that was with long johns, long sleeves, winter pants, grey wooly coat, gloves. That's about as much cold weather gear I brought and I was still shivering.
Day 3:
Hotel had private hotspring in room, so I had a good soak.
We went to Matsume castle where cherry blossoms were all a bloom.
In the afternoon we went to Esashi where they gave us a performance then we went to the museum to see the floats they made to pray for a good catch. They'd have a float festival about twice per year.
Day 4:
We went to Lake Toya to see the crater lake. The short climb up the tartan track just proved how out of condition I was getting. It was actually tiring >< I wasn't sure if it was due to the altitude, or I don't do stairs well, or all the cold weather gear I was wearing. It was quite foggy that day, giving the lake an ethereal, mystical quality, but not so good for seeing far.
We then went to Usu Zenkouji to see the shrine there.
Day 5:
We went to hells Valley to see the hot springs. The place smelt sulphuric and the stones on the ground were actually warm from geothermal energy. We even managed to spot a Hokkaido deer.
Then we went to milk cows and make butterscotch in a farm.
Day 6:
We went to shiroi Koibito park, where they make cookies with chocolate inside and other confectioneries. They also explained how chocolate was made, as well as how their cookies were made.
Day 7:
Free and easy. We visited the nijo market where I loaded up on cans of bear, seal and deer meat. We ate crab at kanihoke, then visited the former governors office. Then headed back to catch flight out of Japan.
Day 8:
Tried to sleep on board plane with little success. Maybe I should have asked for drinks...
Also, I'm not in any of the pictures lol. I'll be happy to remain a mystery.

Wow, sounds like quite the trip! Hope you can get caught up on sleep now. :D
So, a few things to work on for this epic final battle thing:
1) There's going to be a time skip of a few months. What are you going to do for the next while without major foes to hunt in the vale?
2) You can have any type of armor you want crafted for you now. Remember ABP bonuses.
3) You're going to gain two levels over the course of the time skip. Feel free to start working on them.
4) You'll also get to choose two mutations to gain for the time period. The list of possibilities is:
Grow Larger (increases strength)
Grow Thicker Scales (increases Con and AC)
Grow Longer Legs (increases speed)
Grow Spare Head (a 'dumb' head that just bites things that you attack)
GM's Choice (I may come up with something bizarre...)
Let me know what your two votes are.
