I'm considering stealing his game if only for a bit if he doesn't come back. Would be a shame to have so many high level characters and never get to use them.

I'm actually making up a general jist of things right now. I'll see about "inheriting" this PbP around Thursday night if that's all right with everyone.
On that note, sound off if you're still here and want to play so I can look at statting preliminary encounters. I don't want to make encounters for this many APL 10 characters and end up with 4 or 5, you know?

I'm actually looking at not doing the encounter that Herald set up because 2 of 4 people on that mission are missing and one is running the game. Plus, fighting a hundred low-level dudes doesn't sound too fun for just Thak. I'm actually really sad that Schah is a blaster, as I hate, HATE having GMPCs and yet there is no healing in the party.
I'm likely going to skip straight to the high-fives afterwards and then send you guys on a mission to a place that I can take control of and have you hit as a party.
Still working on the map, but I should be done soon-- enough to send you guys out with a modicum of information.

Eh Thak wouldn't mind; if Gimli can do it at Helm's Deep, Thak can do so or better here! Hopefully I packed enough arrows...

I'm the forever DM in my own games, so dropping a character to run is fine-- I just thought it'd be sad if none of them got to make an attack roll. We'll see how you guys do. My encounters are pretty, uh... angry.

I'd like to take a second to discuss how I see Foreseen in this circumstance:
Having failed to make perception, you do not know what is about to attack you... but you do know something is. You can delay, ready, anything you like, but until the creatures act, you're unaware of them since they haven't broken stealth yet.

Foreseen is the diviner school special ability-- it lets Calithilon act in the surprise round no matter what. It's just that his init is so good, he knows there's a surprise round but the enemies haven't broken stealth yet so he doesn't know what he's acting against.
Everyone else is plum surprised but Thak and Nawarld.

Hmmm. So is it a standard action every round? If so, it'll never get used.
I imagine it's a standard action to start it and it can be turned off as a free acti on at any point thereafter
