Kishara overcomes the fairly typical lock after a few moments.
This room contains piles and piles of paper trash and wood scraps—it’s also full of rats and vermin and smells strongly of both.
A full search of the room by the party finds several sheets of paper written in code with four recognizable words on it: Almas, Kaer
Maga, Absalom, and Whitethrone. Given the state of the contents you guess this room hasn’t been used for trash in weeks.
Kishara

Kishara wrinkles her sensitive nose at the stench, "Lay down with dogs and you'll get up with fleas. Lay down with goblins and... well..." she gestures at the state of the place, shaking her head.
She gathers the coded documents and scowls at the city names, lingering on Absalom. "Looks as though they may have cells all over, even in Absalom. We must make sure these make it to headquarters." She secures the papers in her map case to protect them and prepares to proceed to the next door. "Shall we try the south door next? Might be a good idea to clear an avenue of escape before we stir up the whole of this hornet's nest."

I'm not supposed to roll the Disable Device myself, correct? She gets a full +10 bonus when using her MW tools, and she will strive to work as carefully and quietly as possible.
Grimaldus

"I concur with your strategy, Kishara. We should secure the door to this room when we depart so others will not know we were in here - we may need retreat to a safe and defensible spot such as this..." Grim says. He is ready to take point and lead the group to the indicated door.

As far as I know, you are perfectly entitled to roll your own disable check. The only real point of controversy comes up around the meta involved in perception checks, but that's been going forever :p
Given there are no slings, swords, or spells going off around her, Kishara is able to concentrate on doing her average job on an average lock, to the unsurprising but satisfying sound of the lock tumblers clicking over. Breaking the door open quietly and discretely, Kishara is able to peek inside.
Grimaldus
|
Grimaldus uses the silent signals he learned at the academy to indicate he wants to head to the party's right (to the left on the picture towards the front door) and that Yhen should take rear guard to watch their backs as they clear the room.
Kishara
|
Kishara nods her agreement to Grim's signalling and peers down the long hall warily. When she is satisfied there are no traps ahead and no immediate danger in the hall, she leads the way, slinking silently toward the first door. She pauses to listen and then tests the door to see if it is locked.

This long hallway stretches 110 feet from east to west and is periodically broken up by thick, iron portcullises. Several sets of doors can be seen at even intervals along the north and south walls, and at the far east end the hallway appears to terminate in a room filled with large cages. The floor of the hallway was recently swept, but spiderwebs remain on the ceilings.
Kish slips quietly across the hall and listens at the south western door, she hears the muffled chatter of Goblins beyond it.
Kishara
|
Kishara squats down, making the stupidest, ugliest looking face she can manage and points at the door, doing her best to silently mime to the others that she hears Goblins behind the door.
Can she tell if the door is locked? Or make an estimate to how many might be in the room?
Kishara
|
Kish makes a show of counting on her fingers up to 5 or 6 and then shrugs, grimacing theatrically and steps aside for Grimaldus with an after-you gesture. She pulls one of her throwing daggers and stands by to open the door for him and follow in after.
Kishara
|
Alls Kish knows is after the day's she's had, she doesn't want to go first. >_< Figured we need to take a moment for any prep spells, and then burst in and try and silence them before they can raise a cry.
Grimaldus
|
We certainly don't want a pack of goblins appearing behind us at the wrong time. Best to take them out now!
Grim nods in agreement, and steps up to the door, greatsword still in hand. He looks at the rest of the party to ensure they are ready and whispers, "We flood the room and kill all of the goblins. Ready?" He then counts off on his fingers Three...Two...One...and then throws open the door and rushes into the room, silently moving in with no yelling or other clues of the impending doom coming.

In order for things to play out as above, I had to rejig who goes in what order, or you all end up blocking each other etc, so hope you don't mind the liberty taken!

"The battle is not won yet! Quickly enter the room and position yourselves around the door to prevent more than one or two from coming in at a time. Kill any of them who enter! If you have a bow then shoot the ones who are in the hall." Grimaldus calmly calls out to his friends as he moves to stand 5' inside of the door. E6

Kishara hurries to unlock the front door, in case they need to make a quick escape and then moves into position near the door and peeks around the jamb to see what the enemy is doing.

Not sure where everyone is, so I'll leave it to Shifty to find her a spot.
Grimaldus

"Someone must be herding those goblins. Sounds like they are doing the same thing we are - setting a trap. Shall we go and trip it?" Grimaldus asks with a fierce grin and the fire of battle in his eyes.
Grimaldus
|
"I recommend a room-by-room purge. Tikrit and I will take point. Kishara and Kaneko next. Kish - you're in charge of getting the doors open. Yhen and Mandrak next. Yhen provides cover and Mandrak takes rear-guard to make sure noting catches us from behind. Watch out for goblin archers or other ranged attacks. If we are engaged by a force at the end of the hall, we eliminate them first and then come back to each room. Any questions?" Grimaldus seems at ease, briefing the team on a standard building clearance operation.
