Any chance of a silver sheen dueling blade being in stock within the city?
Other items to consider:
Silver blanch (doctor crafts)
Scrolls of magic weapon (Atol)
Holy water (Atol-gosh clerics are useful)
Silvered blunt weapons...Dr. Maxwell now always carries his silver hammer...
GM_Chris
Silver non-masterwork items will be available at Skie's. Masterwork will need to be ordered from Skie's or custom made.
Silver blanch available at Skie's.
Church of St. Cuthbert again: However, I can offer you a discount (20%) compared to most merchants (PRD) on any clerical scrolls or potions we might have in stock (-10% chance per level)."

Silfr received 200 gold in character creation from the Noble trait I didn't want to spend and instead waved away as rent on a small apartment.
I have negative interest in roleplaying the "dyrant is a bad housemate to silfr" reality show. Just thinking about it makes me want to sunder something.

Using his powers of senility, I'm sure that Silfr will continue to imagine slights against him by Dyrant regardless of whether they live together or not. I can't imagine that part of your character changing much.

I see the house less as a place where we stay and more as a place where we work, though some may stay there if they have no where else to go.
Or if we do plan on future captives we might do watch rotations there - so maybe a common bunk room for that purpose, a 'prison' of some sort - or at least a closet we can properly secure, a lab for Toffitt, a meeting room for us, what else?
Doctor Abner Svengalu Toffitt
I think the house needs at least one permanent custodian. Dyrant seems like a good candidate, as a newcomer to the town.

Can't we get a slave?

Dr. Toffitt will invest in the following:
+ the already mentioned masterworking of his dueling blade (with Atol) 300 gp
+ masterworking his silvered light hammer (with Atol's consent) - 300 gp
+ masterworking the compound longbow - 300 gp
+ the bow itself - 200 gp (already counted in spreadsheet)
+ oil of magic weapon x 2 - 100 gp
+ potions of protection from evil x 2 - 100 gp
+ small steel mirror - 10 gp
+ garlic - 1 sp, 1 lb.
+ silvered blunt arrows - 4 gp

I would also like to look for these. With a silver morningstar that should be sufficient for my current needs. Hopefully the Church of Cuthbert has them, otherwise I'll check elsewhere in town. I'll go with a heavy shield instead of a light and a weapon cord for the morning star.
I'll also pick up 6 wooden stakes and carve our symbol in them. If there are containers of weapon blanch I will buy those as well, from the store or Toffitt.
What is your ruling on a spiked gauntlet? Does it count as a free hand for casting and wielding weapons?

Have I mentioned lately that both Paizo and WoTC drive me nuts with their refusal to answer contentious questions? But I digress...
A wasted 20 minutes of rereading through the rules and boards has brought me no clear resolution.
I'm going with the hand is free for wielding weapons, but incurs an arcane spell failure chance of 10% and 100% chance of being mocked by any NPC who sees you wearing spiked gauntlets without appropriate armor. Divine spellcasters are fine since typically the somatic component is presenting a holy symbol.
I really think the ARF should be around 25%, but the rules don't support that. Another simple solution would be to just move it to a light martial weapon or require that it be part of armor that makes sense (i.e. chainmail, plate). But again, I digress.
As always, I'm open to debate.
Finneas Glenn
I was thinking of spiking one of my gauntlets in silver to go with my plate armor. You have a tendency to knock me unconscious so it'd be nice to have my weapon still. Also it saves me an action getting shield and weapon ready since I'd want to sheathe my greatsword. And third it would let me take a heavy shield and still cast spells. So if I can cast divine spells and wear it with my plate armor, still using my greatsword and switching to a shield when using it, I'd like to find a spiked gauntlet, silver if possible, to go with my heavy shield and morning star purchases.

That's fine. It would likely take some custom work, but it could be completed before day 12.

Wait! Wut? Atol just threw away a sure thing?!? Why did he even come back from the dead? I think the lingering effects of death still affect him.
Wasn't there a movie based on a sure thing?
I think it was called "Behind the Geared Door" or something.

I need to update spreadsheets some when I'm in a number crunching mood (likely after a few hours from now after dealing with people at work), but I'm getting the sense most people are ready to move on to day 12.
If I'm wrong, and there is an investigative path you'd like to pursue before then let me know. I'm not going to create new paths for you to go down since the adventure has one already built in, but I did see several potential paths depending on people's actions (none of which have occurred).
The biggest point of discovering a vampire was involved was triggered by capturing and trying to interrogate the goblins using magic. This was done early enough to give you plenty of time to preapre.
It was possible to follow the goblins back to their entry point to Cauldron, but your aggressive actions the first night put Drakthar on guard and removed that possibility barring some creative plan.
Another possibility--you can't use this time since I'm telling you--is divinations from the magic item Jenya has. It works once per week.
And honestly, the triggering event would have come much earlier if the time wasn't needed for Atol. I'm just a softy sometimes. It will also alleviate any guilt I feel about a TPK later. 8-)
So, make your final purchases, scribe your scrolls, deck out the Cauldron 6 headquarters, and say your goodbyes. We'll be starting later today from day 12, after Atol's restoration, as a person knocks on the door or your house.

This one occurred to me but after Jenya cudgeled Atol over the Goblin-in-the-Shed incident (which sadly for Atol didn't involve Coryston) I didn't think she'd go for it. Also it's potentially not something Finneas would have thought of, though as you can tell I'm playing him as Int < 10 with his parents > 10, averaging to his actual 10.
Doctor Abner Svengalu Toffitt
I wonder if my lovely mage armor casting colleagues would mind casting it on Dr. Toffitt when it comes time to go a-delving? It would bump his AC up one. Happy to pay for scrolls or charges of wand...
Atol Lem
I believe we were selling the bag of tricks. (Atol needs some cash for scrolls of magic weapon)
Other than that, Atol is no longer negative leveled, but beaten and spurned by his would-be lover. So yeah, he's ready to go hunting.
Doctor Abner Svengalu Toffitt
Dyrant mentioned the idea of scrolls of circle of protection. Would this be something that Atol or Finneas have a high likelihood of using? Would a potion of magic circle be an alternative, if not?
Dr. Toffitt would happily forego masterworking his bow to help pay for magic circles—it's likely to be much more important when dealing with dominate...
Atol Lem
Atol has two days he can scribe some scrolls - 4-6 scrolls total at his speed. He'll scribe whatever people request if they're paying for it, and a couple magic weapons if the funds become available from selling the bag of tricks.
Finneas Glenn
Keep in mind that due to the Haunted Curse Finneas won't be doing a lot of item use in combat. Taking out a potion and drinking it would take me 2 turns. Not sure if the Quick Draw feat would mitigate this or not but I don't think it does.

If you wished to hand one to me, I could use it as appropriate...especially, if a Prot Evil would keep you from murderizing half the party.

For the treasure sheet:
GM Chris--
This also needs to be added (or subtracted, depends how you look at it) to the Treasure Spreadsheet.
EDIT: But I'm sure it will be mysteriously fixed by the time I look again for it.

If there one available, I think this might be a good group purchase. It'll last 50 minutes, has group beneficial effects, and that will hopefully get us though whatever fight.
Dyrant would like to buy 2 potions of Protection from Evil from the church.
100gp - 20% = 80gp
Doctor Abner Svengalu Toffitt
The following are avaialble from the Church of St. Cuthbert
1d100-30 - Potion of magic circle against evil
1d4 available, 600 gp each
1d100-10 - Potion of protection from evil
1d4 available, 40 gp each
I suggest we apply proceeds from the sale of the bag to purchasing 2. The doctor might forego his composite longbow masterworking to chip in for a third.
Probably best to have either the Doctor or Finneas imbibe the potion. If it's the latter, Toffitt will be keeping close to him.
Doctor Abner Svengalu Toffitt
Did anyone else want to pitch in for the 3rd Potion of Magic Circle? Have we agreed to put the bag of tricks and wand money towards the first two? We should confirm before going much further.
I think one of us other than Finneas should carry one of the unused ones, just in case something terrible happens and he is caught unawares, before being able to drink it...
I'm advocating extra hard on the Doctor's behalf, here—he has a particular fear of losing his wits and having a monster take over his body...
Dyrant Maynor, the Pre-Sainted
If Dyrant is going to be hanging with Finn, I would suggest that he have one of the PotMCPE10'. He can apply it to the walking TPK as needed.
I think we are buying two of them as a group.
Not sure about needed a third, Doctor.
Doctor Abner Svengalu Toffitt
I propose one on Dyrant and one on Toffitt, with an understanding that either Dyrant or Toffitt will give theirs to Finneas as needed. Toffitt will then continue with his plan to masterwork his bow, not having heard interest in buying the third potion. :-p
Finneas Glenn
Two plus the individual potions we've purchased should be enough I would think. Is that...is that an evil laugh I hear in the background?

Round 2. 6 people, 2 of which were Board. 1hr.15min. Lunch and break.
I call upon the patience of Dyrant, the wisdom of Atol, and the, uh, courage of Garl Glimgnome to help me.
Dyrant Maynor, the Pre-Sainted
Round 3 interviews lasted 1:15 and had 5 more people.
To recap: This were 4th round of interviews for this job.
I think I did well enough. I only made up between 15 and 20 words over the course of all the panels. "Unprobably" and "codicified" probably won't make it into the lexicon anytime soon.
I spoke a bit with the other two candidates and they both seemed nice and smart and friendly. One of the candidates and I chatted quite a bit and helped each other prep for the panels we were about to get.
In the end, I recognize how hugenormous a job this will be and how difficult it will be...but also how challenging and fun.
I think I can do the job. And do it well.
I think I mostly want the job.
That said, I'm ready for a nap.
