Be sure to place any orders with Skie early as soon as possible.
New Wand of Cure Light Wounds, plz.
We burnt through that last one.
p.s. Peeps, you may want to keep 125 gp aside for a 'share' of a full Wand of CLW.
Glimmil
1500gp per person?
Glimmil is likely to purchase a +1 shield then for his first magic item.
20gp heavy steel shield base price
+150gp masterwork
+1000gp for +1 bonus
--
1170gp total
He'll then spend 30gp to get it engraved and enameled.
In the center will be a large radiant gold nugget with rays of light shining out of it. On either side will be dogs rearing up. The dogs will have riding saddles and armor. At the top will be clouds and the faces of gnomish women peering out from them and smiling at the gold nugget. The center will look bear a striking likeness to Skie.
He'll have an inscription made, the fool that Glim is, on the inside:
Cheerful Skies
Faithful Friends
Lucky Shiny Life
With 125gp chipped in for a new wand, that's 1325gp spent, and 175gp remaining.

Awesome prayer! Atol was going to get some armor with St. Cuthbert's symbol emblazoned on it, but your shield description already puts it to shame!!
Brilliant. ;)

Truly well done.
I like all the personalized armoring that is happening. Sweet stuff.

We should call ourselves the 'Celestial Alliance'. Most of us are extremely religious in one way or another, Silfr summons celestial creatures, and Atol has been to heaven (I hope). I can't wedge the good Dr. into that however so I dunno.
Still, we need to come up with a name for ourselves - especially if we're going to claim the Malachite Fortress as our own.

Too bad the Church doesn't have a wand of CLW.
I'd prefer to wait for the CLW wand and try to survive on the potions we have, healing from Atol/Dyrant, and scrolls via Atol/Dyrant than shell out for the CMW.
Wait! Atol can read, let alone write?! And even write magic?!

I heard you had caught the vanishing, but you appear fine. Why didn't you come see me?
Biting nails.
I debated/am debating a 1-level dip into Cavalier, which would mean having to get the disease removed.
What would be the cost in gold for getting it removed?

Speaking of your pa-pa-poker face, GM Chris...wasn't there something you were going to tell us awhile back? During the Kajmo fight?
Anyhoot:
Dyrant's Leveling:
+1 Witch
+5 hp (4 for class, 1 for favored)
+2 spells (Glitterdust, Web)
+1 Fort, Ref saves
+7 skill points:
+1 Acrobatics
+2 Appraisal, ftw!
+1 Arcana (learning about constructs)
+1 Dungeoneering (learning more about mimics)
+1 Know (Local)
+1 Spellcraft
Feat:
Spell Focus (Evocation) - might change this, TBD.
I'll update Dyrant's profile tonight.

Speaking of your pa-pa-poker face, GM Chris...wasn't there something you were going to tell us awhile back? During the Kajmo fight?
Sure. That was more of me experimenting with an adventure path versus a PFS module. I let that one evolve naturally--at least in my opinion. The EL was off the charts, but I had two "deux ex machina" outs so I thought I'd let you guys see what you could handle.
If you had come in via the other route, the fortress goes into lockdown, resulting in nicely balanced EL encounters. However, since you stabbed right at the heart, it only made sense that the reinforcements would come running. I also was expecting someone to cut off or at least slow the influx of reinforcements.
The easy outs were having the beholder show up earlier or going to non-lethal damage to take you as slaves. The book makes allowances for either. The half-elves are designed to be introduced during some crisis or another and this seemed to qualify. I wanted to get them introduced and this made more sense than the Kazmojen fight.
Dyrant Maynor, the Pre-Sainted
Regarding "Kept Treasure", Dyrant is still in favor of selling the wand of Sleep and the Bag o' Tricks.
Dyrant won't be using the wand, preferring to hear the sound of his own orations.

Deus Ex - Neat. Nice that there were outs for us.

Er, no. Toffitt's definitely an outlier in the celestial department.
How about the Healing Hands of Cauldron?
His healing abilities are still modest, but Dr. Toffitt can now share his CLW and other extracts with others. He doesn't really have enough yet to share them indiscriminately, but it makes the Doctor moniker just a little more accurate. Given a few more days of adventure, he may even be able to translate his academic knowledge of natural anatomy into practice!
Doctor Abner Svengalu Toffitt
At some point before we again go adventuring, Dr. Toffitt will visit Skie's and enquire about certain items he intends to buy (eventually):
+ darkwood masterwork composite longbow, STR bonus +1
+ mithril shirt
Depending on how much money is available to him after paying back any loans from the party, he will also likely buy materials for some potions:
+ enlarge person x2 (50 gp)
+ CLW x 2 (50 gp)
+ shield x 2 (50 gp)

Attempting to order a Cold Iron Greatsword if none of the shops in town have one, which would cost 100 gold. The text doesn't state this includes masterwork, so I assume I need another 300 gold to make it so.
Dyrant Maynor, the Pre-Sainted
His invitation to sup and drink having been apparently ignored by Dyrant, Dr. Toffitt quietly withdraws from the site of Atol's rebirth. He wanders the streets of this city that is so new to him, wary of its shadows.
@Dr. Toffee: OOC, I just missed your invite. Just read right by it. Sorry!
@Dr. Toffee: IC, Dyrant was too caught up in his own petty sadness and jealousy to remember your invite. He'd feel bad about it, but he's still completely caught up in his own $@!t right now.
@Glim, Finn: Tonight, Dr. Toffee, GM Chris, Atol, Silfr and I have our regular dinner and PFS night. We won't be posting much, but, rest assured we'll be giving *someone* heck about shooting children in the face. :)

If I find a non-MW one in town I'll take advantage of that to save myself the time and pay the cost for the material components. Technically with a scroll I could cast that as well I suppose.
Now if only there was a way to get a second favored class other than Reincarnation and Half-Elf.

OK, I'm working up taking the 3rd level as cavalier, essentially to boost Glim's mount up to snuff.
A small cavalier gets to pick a pony or wolf as their mount (they don't get access to a boar or dog until 4th level).
@Chris: Do you have any issue with me converting Cog to the stats of a wolf companion and saying he's the mount in question?
Otherwise, I can invent a new wolf mount for Glimmil and Cog can retire as a guardian of the Cobwaddle homestead.

Looking to understand your character, I noticed you've overspent your points on Glimmil's build. You spent 23 points instead of 20. You'll need to adjust something.
The wolf is showing as 21 hit points. d8 average per level is 5 + 2 per level for CON.
Survival is not a class skill for wolf. It can take it though.
The AC is actually 20 instead of 19. Studded leather is +3.
Attack is +4, not +5.

Pahlian Gurnezarn has one available. In fact, I've decided that he only makes masterwork weapons. He is the best smith in town after all. Yes, it will be 400.

Pay the 400 and donate my old Greatsword to the church for the initiaties to practice with. Will inquire with Master Smith Gurnezarn about inscribing holy scripture on the Cold Iron Greatsword.

Do you mean the point buy? He's (always been) a 20-pt buy.
This is the line before racial mods: S16(10) D12(2) C14(5) I10 W8(-2) Ch14(5)
Gnomes are then -2Str, +2Con, +2Cha.
The wolf is showing as 21 hit points. d8 average per level is 5 + 2 per level for CON.
For animal companions/mounts, I used max HP for 1st level, and then took 5+2 for all additional levels. Do you want me to not use the max at 1st level?
Survival is not a class skill for wolf. It can take it though.
Ah, yes my bad. I missed the asterisk.
Attack is +4, not +5.
Good catch, I was using a +3 BAB from 3HD versus the +2 BAB.

Not at home, but I'm guessing I put halfling into Heroforge instead of gnome since I had just dealt with Tygot. Ignore my 1am math.

Yep. Companions only get average the whole time.

After his initial success with scroll manufacture, Atol spends the afternoon buying various equipment and more scroll making materials. He will also tithe at the church.
Tithe 150gp (assuming we're getting ~1500gp this time around)
Breastplate 200gp
simple engraving of St. Cuthbert wielding his cudgel 30gp
Muleback Cords 1,000gp (ready on day 6 - today I think)
Buckler 15gp
Scroll Cure Light Wounds x3 60gp (purchased from church)
He also buys the inks and paper to make the following scrolls (assuming we have a few days of down time he'll make them now as well but I wanted to take the cash out all at once for ease in math)...
Scrolls being made (450gp)
Ant Haul 12.5gp
Cure Light Wounds x4 50gp (one made already)
Remove Fear 12.5gp
Calm Emotions 75gp
Delay Poison 75gp
Remove Paralysis 75gp
Restoration, Lesser x2 150gp

How difficult is it going to be down the road to enchant my sword? Is there a crafting wizard or cleric in town that can make this stuff or do I have to mail it to somebody then have them mail it back? Of course I don't have 4k gold right now for it to matter, just curious.

The mod doesn't provide one, but I'm gong to craft a crafting wizard. He will be easily accessible.

Dyrant's profile should now be up to date, saving the money situation.

Yay!
So if we sell the wand o' sleep and the bag o' tricks...our totals are...
GM_Chris
Dyrant Maynor, the Pre-Sainted
Party Total 6,611.22
That is a happy total. Puts me all the way towards my PoP 1 and 1/4 the way to the PoP 2. And I'll have some cash for scribing and some magical equipment (probably will have list on the morrow for Skie).
Does NOT include sale of bag of tricks and wand of sleep.
Hmm...let me run that through the meta-Chris translator:
Both items have the Vanishing. I refuse to sell them in hopes that one of you suckers will get hit by the Vanishing. These magical items will now be anchors around your necks for the rest of the campaign as you'll never be able to use or sell them.
A'ight...those items are dead to me. :(
Unless we can figure out a way to clean them...but it's probably not worth the cost and effort.
