Initiative = 6
Sorry my mistake, wrote initiative instead of perception, was on a phone call. Numbers are the same, but i´ll roll perception again and take that initiative, or the other way around if the GM prefers that.
Perception: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 = 22
And no idea why that post was so messed up just now.
Janzadar |
Janzadar moves to close to the snake.
"Ivar, watch out!"
He lets a bolt of lightning against it.
Lightning Arc Attack Roll (Ranged Touch): 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 1 = 19
Damage Roll: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7 (Electricity)
Malok, the East Wind |

Malok moves to help Ivar by treating posion..
Heal: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11 prob doesnt beat the DC.. If for some reason it does he gets a +4 to his save..

fort: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19
Ivar, as he removes the axe from the snake, looks at the swelling bite and then the colonel. Bending over to pick up the snake. "Yeah, I feel like hell also. the good news is snake is good eating." as he stores the snake in his pack.
"Shall we take a look around?" Ivar finds a clear spot and looks around.
perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22
Ivar "Goldilocks" Theodinson |
Ivar points down toward the south east near the beach, "Hey look, some sort of shelter, shall we head that way?" shouldering his axe, his shortsword in his other hand to chop down vegetation, Ivar starts to head that way, keeping his eyes peeled for anything unusual or tracks.
perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25
survival: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 15
Ivar "Goldilocks" Theodinson |
'Wonder if anyone is still here.' Nearing the edge of the forest Ivar stops and quickly kneels down, lifting a closed fist the universal signal for stop ;) He watches the shelter for a moment looking for any signs of life.
perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7
Not seeing anything, Ivar stands up and tells the team. "I don't see anything, come on lets go." He then approaches the shelter to look around.
Ivar "Goldilocks" Theodinson |
Ivar shrugs his shoulder, showing her the bleeding swollen bite. "It doesn't feel like the poison has taken hold, so I'm not as bad as I could be." Smiling, he nods back to the dead snake in his pack. "But not a total loss, Snake is good eating."
Nodding in agreement, "I'm not surprised that we found some kind of shelter, we did find zombies a little further up the beach." 'Wish I had thought about checking the fire pit.' Pointing to the shelter, smiling at Lalali;"But seeing if this has been lived in lately is a good idea, I like that firepit idea."
Ivar continues approaching the shelter.

Forgot a couple of details from your search.
A casual examination of this area reveals that it’s recently been used as a campsite. AYou find some discarded refuse, including both Captain Kovack’s tricorn hat and a few brightly colored scarves identifiable as once having belonged to the scholar Ieana.
(this was the captain of your vessel as well as one of the passengers).
The path heads south towards the center of the island. The trail appears to be a couple of days old.
Heading that way (towards E on the map), you run into a large grove of thorny vines grow on these river banks, presenting a seven-foot-tall wall of green leaves and intimidating six-inch red thorns.
Janzadar |
Janzadar approaches carefully, and examines the grove, trying to identify if it is natural, and how to pass it.
Knowledge (Nature): 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5 (+1 if Jungle)
So no clue. Is it magical?
Malok, the East Wind |
"Well if we suffer the thorns the berries can be quite useful. They are know to have medicinal properties.. We should probably try to harvest some.."
Malok, the East Wind |
"Good idea.. Get 20 or so and lets be on our way.. If they prove useful we can always find more I'm sure. I don't imagine we should linger for to long."
Ivar "Goldilocks" Theodinson |
may as well eat, I wonder if I can save the snake hide.' while Lalali is using her magic to pick berries, Ivar starts to skin the snake, after he skins and guts the snake, Ivar builds a fire and starts cooking it. Once it get's a good medium rare Ivar cuts himself off a hunk and asks the party, 'Any of you want to get in on this snake?"
Once Lalali is done mystically picking berries and the party has eaten their fill, Ivar kicks sand on the fire to put it out. Then packing the rest of the snake in his pack, he hefts his axe and starts to follow the tracks again. Whacking down vegetation as he goes he keeps a keen eye out for the tracks and anything else.
survival: skin: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12
survival: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 23

Lalali takes quite a while to gather the berries as it involves sending the hand into the patch, picking a single berry and bringing it back. It's rather tedious, so Ivar starts up a fire and roasts the snake on a spit. It comes up rather tasty, though he doesn't do a great job of skinning it, cutting it in too many places.
By the time you have all the berries you want, it is starting to get to late afternoon.
