Ivar kicking out the fire from the previous night, points back north up the beach. "We told the other castaways we would be back there today, so lets head up the beach. Once we get back we should talk to the others about moving camp." Gathering up his pack and axe he begins walking north up the beach keeping a keen eye out.

You head up along the coast to make it an easy walk.
You are able to get as far as D5 before you decide it is a good idea to camp. Beach walking is a lot easier than tromping through the jungle. You figure you can make it back to base camp tomorrow by midday.
I'll assume normal camping method.
1d100 ⇒ 1
1d100 ⇒ 25
In the middle of the night, during Ivars watch 1d6 ⇒ 3 jungle goats charge into your campsite and attack ivar. They attempt to gore him with their horns (yes, horny old goats)
to hit: 1d20 ⇒ 3

But they are feeble, horny old goats.
DC 10 perception to wake up.
Party is up (well most are asleep, but you get the idea).
Ivar "Goldilocks" Theodinson
D5 do you mean D3? we were at K then went straight east to d5 camped north of G last night...
earlier, sorry I waited so long,
'blondie? he must not have heard me right.' As their marching along, Ivar hears the colonel call him blondie, Ivar calls back over his shoulder, b[]"Blondie Colonel? I can see where you misunderstood. When I survived a pitched battle fighting in the shield wall I did earn a name referring to my hair. But when my spanglehelm was knocked off my captain called me 'Goldilocks' not blondie. He smiled and laughed and said "I'm glad to see you survived, Goldilocks." So that's was my given name."[/b] Ivar looks at the other incredulously, "What? it's a great honor to be a named man in an Ulfen raiding crew."
Now, at night
init: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
'Mmmm, goat is good eating.' Seeing the goats charge him Ivar ducks out of the way, of the first, hip checking the second and swings his axe at the last one, calling out. "Wake up everyone were being attack by Horny Old Goats???"

Ivar kills ones of the horny goats. Guess he doesn't swing that way.
Janz wakes up from his comfy pile of leaves, and zaps one of the goats, but doesn't drop it.
Malok wakes up, grabs his bow, stands up, and runs out of actions before he can get that nice shot off.
Lalali and the Colonel decide that their beauty sleep is more important and just turn over with a snort each.
The goats, both quite injured, run for it (withdraw action, so no provoke).
Combat is over unless you wish to chase down horny old goats.
Ivar "Goldilocks" Theodinson
Watching the wounded pair of goats run off, he calls over to the just waking crew members."It's of they've gone, go back to sleep."Ivar sets his axe down, and slitting the goats throat to drain the blood, he begins to skin, disembowel and quarter the goat. 'this goat is old and tough, if we can't eat it we can use the hide.'
for meat and trying to save the skin, but it looks like a lost cause

'Well I botched that.' As the sun rises, seeing how badly he mangled the goat hide, he tosses it into the jungle. Gathering his axe and pack, he points to the north. "Shall we head up the beach, we told the others we would be back yesterday, the're probably worried." He heads up the beach, keeping a keen eye out as he proceeds.

"Caw!!"
Malok seemingly displeased by his slow actions vs the horny goats grumbles to himself..
Malok, the East Wind
"I think moving the camp would be a wise descission. We can't keep walking a day out before we get to uncharted areas again.. We could clear out that hill to provide a good distance to sight in all directions.."
Ivar "Goldilocks" Theodinson
As Ivar help get the camp ready to move he recommends to the team "Once we get the base camp moved should we finished exploring the northern coast and the northwestern corner? I don't like not knowing what is behind us to the north if we know there are traps to the south and the west."
Once it is to late to continue working, "I assume we will continue with our regular nights watch." turning to Aerys he asks, "Aerys with your elven eyes would you mind helping me keep watch on the second rotation?"
Ivar "Goldilocks" Theodinson
'racist?' Ivar looks from Aerys to the Colonel, "Um, half elves see better in the dark, it was more of a request." He then bends his face near the shorter adventurer cupping his hand near his mouth so only he could hear him " but I understand your dilemma about racism and all, having difficult understanding such things." looking from the colonel to the half elf. "'cause Aerys Mavato is a trim, athletic half elf with short dark hair, tanned skin, and fierce blue eyes; dresses in tightly fitted leather armor and favors dark clothing and tricorn hats. She, how can I put it? is a girl, a female, a woman a member of the opposite sex, in other words not a dude. Oh and it's Goldilocks. If your going to be condescending, at least get the given name right." Angus straightens up, smiles at the Colonel and then goes to lie down until it was time for his turn at watch.

A bunch (6) of humans come rushing into the camp.

They are dressed in crude clothing, just a breechcloth. Their teeth are filed to points, and their bodies appear to be covered in ritual scars. They each carry a shield and some sort of melee weapon, which might be a type of sword. There is no armor apparent on them.
