that is not all that much. don't suppose we leveled again?-I know wishful thinking.

Tirion Took |

Tirion is rather pleased to see Bandy as well; he's quite impressed by the gang's success vs giants.
"Let us hope we find some "good guy" giants to sell the boss' armor and weapons to..."
In response to Draingore's antics:
"Those ladies just don't know what they're missing out on! Indeed, I certainly don't know what they're missing -- thank the gods!"

"Bandersnatch" McTwilliger |

Absolutely
hey look this one is still breathing! Maybe we should ask him where he came from?

Tirion Took |

"I *would* like to know that dragon's name. We'll need some incentive for when the poor fellow awakes..."
Tirion ponders a bit;
"As you may recall, I've sent a number of ogres to set up a retirement community in the northern Ashwood area -- perhaps we can offer our new friend an interest in that going concern!"

Robert "Bo" Hardin |

"While i have no isue with interogating the giant. It will not be tortured.. I just let that be known up front."

"Bandersnatch" McTwilliger |

Great it is settled you will do the questioning!

Robert "Bo" Hardin |

After the giant has been secured, not sur ehow we do that, Bo will heal him with his wand..
"Why did yall attack this town? What were you after?" If he gets no response he'll motion for Drainy to put the sock into play!

drbuzzard |

The injured giant squints, frowns, and then chuckles to itself. “Defeated by nosy little humans,” it says. “Never thought this would happen to the Plateau People. Well, I can tell you this: My lord is mighty Mokmurian, one of the dark giants of old come again. His magic, the things he has made... He has convinced the tribes that they will rule all the lowlands again, down to the sea. He has mastered the ancient arts.
“He will certainly kill you all, run rough over your tiny homes with the army he has called. The fortunate few will become his slaves. You beat us today, but you won’t beat us when there are a hundred or a thousand of the Plateau People marching together. Lord Mokmurian will make it happen. He’s almost as smooth a talker as you are, little one.” He scratches his nose. “Teraktinus—he was the leader of our scouting party. He convinced us that you’d be easy pickings and we’d all get rich. He obviously underestimated you, and he paid for his mistake. I’ve no interest in paying for that mistake as well—grant me safe passage out of your lands, and I’ll tell you everything you wish to know.”
Also, the module says you level up here, so you level up here. 11th level for everyone.

Robert "Bo" Hardin |

Bo furrows his brow.. "Like my friend here said, you are in no position to bargain. You have attacked this town and killed its people for no other reason than for personal gain. An evil act for sure.. My god teaches that creatures like you are not irredeemable. None the less you are at the mercy of this town, not us.. I can promise I will speak on your behave if you repent of your wicked ways and tell us all you know about the evil organization you are betrothed too.. I cannot promise these townsfolk will take that after the murder than has been committed here today.. at least you can go to the afterlife with a clear conscious if it comes to that.. Now help us out or face my friends underwear.. Please.."
Dip: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (5) + 15 = 20

Robert "Bo" Hardin |

"Where is this Mokmurian's lair? How many allies does he have? Where is the dragon that attacked us here today's lair?"

drbuzzard |

Because I'm lazy, I'll just cut and paste the close questions/answers
HOW MANY GIANTS DOES MOKMURIAN COMMAND? “He has at least seven tribes of under his command, with each tribe numbering in the dozens. The number of lesser kin he’s conscripted—ogres, hill giants, ettins, trolls—is not insignificant. He also enjoys the support of several lamias—degenerate followers of the Mother of Monsters.”
WHERE IS HE BASED? “Mokmurian has claimed a place taboo to my people: the Valley of the Black Tower in the Iron Peaks. He calls his fortress Jorgenfist, after the name of the fortress that guards the entrance to the afterlife. Our elders found the name blasphemous, but Mokmurian is powerful enough not to fear blasphemy.”
WHERE IS JORGENFIST? “Jorgenfist lies within the Valley of the Black Tower in the Iron Peaks. It overlooks the waters of the Muschkal River, but can also be approached by heading east from the Storval Stairs. Lord Mokmurian himself dwells deep below Jorgenfist—in hidden places he does not allow us to visit.”
He doesn't know where the dragon has it's lair. It reports directly to Mokmurian, who dispatched it to help with the raid.

Robert "Bo" Hardin |

Understood.. Bo will speak on the behalf of the giant for his attmept to make things right. He does not however attempt to stop the tonsfolk from killing it. It certainly deserves it for the days actions. He will require the death to be swift though, with no torture, if it must go that way.
"We should head to Magnimar and report/restock.. We have much planning if we're to assault this Jorgenfist.." What the quickest way to Magnimar?
Have u updated the loot lately Vuvu? If not we should compile a list so we known sell values etc..
I also think the pixie should share in loot and get some upgrades since he's out main healer.. A headband of charisma and cloak of resist at the very least. Perhaps some armor.

Robert "Bo" Hardin |

Bo laughs.. "Lamia's not Llamas Drainy.. We must do some research on them in Magnimar.."

"Bandersnatch" McTwilliger |

I just need to add the stuff from this last fight. If we are on the way to sell I will do it today

drbuzzard |

Ok, you folks figure it's probably a good time to head for Magnimar to report in. You don't want to duplicate the loss of information suffered when the original team working the problem went missing and nobody else knew anything.
Let me know if there's anything you want to do in Sandpoint before you go. The quickest way back it to hire a boat which can run you down the coast of the Varisian Gulf to the city. You could also go overland, but it would take much longer.
A boat would take a day.

Robert "Bo" Hardin |

Boat rids is fine..

Tirion Took |

If im seriously forgetting something import help me out plz I have alot going on atm..

drbuzzard |

Yes, it was reporting to Williamson.
He will offer you enough GP to get you up to your WBL if you are short. He will also provide you with 2 cases (12 in each) of fragmentation grenades. "Newest thing from the armories back home!"
They explode in a 20' radius for 5d6 slashing damage DC 15 reflex for 1/2 damage.
Also he will provide any of the gun users with another 200 rounds of steel ammo each. If you have any damaged mundane firearms, he will replace them with masterwork examples.
He appears quite concerned about the notion of a giant invasion, "That's a pretty serious matter. Stone giants are not usually known to be hostile. If someone is rousing them up against humanity, that's a very serious business. Best that you nip it in the bud. I'll try to get the local authorities properly motivated to respond. Word came in about the raid on Sandpoint, so they are already aware of the situation to some extent. Let me see if we know anything about Jorgenfist. " and he rings for an assistant, who rushes back out after being told what is needed.
A scruffy old scholar come back in with a large dusty tome.
"Ah yes, Jorgenfist. that appears to be in the Valley of the Black Tower in the Iron Peaks. If you wish to go there, it's rather a long hike- about 250 miles from Sandpoint. You go up the Lost Coast Road, over to Ember Lake, then up to Galduria, Wolf’s Ear, Ravenmoor, and finally the Storval Stairs. Once you reach the top of the stairs, they can head directly east into the Iron Peaks and the Valley of the Black Tower."

"Bandersnatch" McTwilliger |

ok I am erasing our loot sheet. Bander will take 6 of the grenades

Robert "Bo" Hardin |

Bo will take 6 of the nades as well.. "We're in Magnimar.. Can't we just pay a magic user to transport us there?" Looking for a possible greater teleport so no failure chance.. Thats 910 gp, or 182 a piece..

Robert "Bo" Hardin |

Just curious but what is Pixel buying with his greenbacks?

drbuzzard |

The pixie is called Yap. I'll have to figure out what he needs. I suppose I should make him as impervious as possible. That way he remains in one piece to do hie healing.
"You can likely find a caster of sufficient talent in a city this size. I don't know that I have had truck with any myself. "
If you folks want to spend the cash on that, it would be possible as Magnimar is a plenty big city. You will end up skipping a couple encounters if you do so, but they are pretty much just filler.

Tirion Took |

with his ever-improving mastery of scroll-use, Tirion could in fact use a scroll of Teleport himself -- with a 10% chance of failure, but a 94% chance of arriving on target -- to take himself and three other lucky party members to that chamber where he made the captured ogres stay near the top of Hook Mountain. He spent quite a lot of time in there, watching the ogres and their surroundings!
That would at least get us within 50-to-60 miles of Jorgenfist (and already atop the Storval Rise, so we wouldn't have to do that arduous climb again).

Robert "Bo" Hardin |

With Greater there is no chance of failure, you need not been there, you only need a description of the place and we have that. Plus its alot cheaper than a teleport scroll..
