Vs a BBEG with smite, focused aim, deadly aim, pbs, and rapid shot would look like..

+10/+10 for 1d8+16 on each.. Not to bad..

As straight pally he would be same hit but -6 damage per hit.. I think the 1 level dip is justified..

GM should take note that Tirion has Trap Spotter, for a passive chance to spot nearby traps!

I'm not sure what you mean. If you mean steal from the party, no. Keep in mind, you are not individual agents, but part of an organized force with a mission. If you want to be independent I can cut you off from Alkenstar support (but I would prefer not to).

Actually no, if you have that much magic, it is assumed you have been doing missions for the Duchy in the outside world for a while. If not you would have 16k in nonmagical stuff.

Ok im leveled up besides switching feats around.. Made my shield and pistol +1 and bought a ring of prot +1.. AC 23 is pretty good for the level..


If you want to get the melee shooting feats, feel free to trade some out. I think you should have access now since your BAB is 6.

There is no bab req for point blank master, so i swapped it for rapid shot.. And i found out reloading in melee does provoke, but my endless bandolier can teleport a bullet 1/rd, so i can shoot for 4 rounds without reloading..

Perhaps i should just drop the pistol build and go with a full sword and board pally..


I'm not exactly sure why reloading concerns you a lot. You have 6 shots. If I have to cook up a feat for provoke-less reloading I will (like for crossbows, so it would be Firearms Mastery).

6 shots is only 3 rounds of combat, plus 1 sxtra from the bandolier.. I suppose most combats dont go longer than 4 rounds..

would the cylinder of a revolver count as a "container" for the purposes of the spell Abundant Ammunition? I can almost see getting a 2,000gp Ioun Stone that stores one spell level, and getting some caster to put that spell into it: at least for one fight, unlimited ammo -- just like the movies!

No, the magazine of a weapon will not count toward that effect.

Endless ammunition is a +2 weapon enhancement.

actually, Tirion is fine with reloading every few rounds -- a revolver really is pretty advanced! It was just a thought.

Question about weapon blanches: can we apply them to bullets? "When poured on a weapon and placed over a hot flame for a full round, they melt and form a temporary coating on the weapon" -- sounds kinda dangerous...

Would just holding the tip of the bullet up to a tindertwig for a round count? If that works, then Tirion will get 5gp of Silver blanche, 20gp of Silver blanche, 20gp of Ghost Salt -- and he'll prepare 10 bullets of each type.


Considering your cartridges are loaded with primer and powder, I wouldn't suggest heating to apply weapon blanches.

You can take the time during downtime to use craft gunsmithing to load your own ammo, and that can be blanched. I will not be allowing adamantine weapon blanche to work however (my view on adamantine DR is that it's the hardness of the weapon/projectile that gets it through).

If you look at my purchases Tirion you'll notice i spent quite a bit on blanches for my ammo, save adamantine which i spent 600 on 10 bullets of..


Actually I didn't take a close enough look for that. You might want to spend that money on something else (particularly the adamantine stuff).
