You guys entered from the left side hatch. You should be able to move those icons around yourselves.

Lua climbs topside to the sounds of combat. She whisper's a little prayer to The Dawnflower and then bursts into action. She see's Doc, on the port side,within range of Thomas and the fallen sailor. She decides to assist Billy with the starboard foe.

She moves next to the sailor and engages enemy #3

Attack Roll: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10

Just so you know, if people don't post actions in a given day during a combat, they will be botted. I will not have this game turn into molasses in winter like so many PbP games I'm in.

No, not yet anyway. Provoking AoO's by shooting in melee is my primary means of gaining grit points back, so I go out of my way to do so.

EDIT: Ouch, can't say I wasn't asking for it, heh.


As I said, at least I didn't confirm. That would have left one hell of a mark.

I've never played a Paladin in Pathfinder before (I'm more of the sneaky archery types), but I'm starting to dig this little chica.


It does certainly seem effective. Pathfinder really did ramp up paladins over 3.5.

One advantage to this party is the lack of spellcasters does simplify watches.

So, if I wanted Lua to assist the grappled crew member to break the grapple, would I just try to break it myself, or would I use the Aid Other action?


I'll let you try to break it on his behalf.

I know that's not how the rules work RAW, but I tend to follow the rule of cool. If you come up with a good idea that is cool, I'll let it go.

Of course that's one of the reasons I play PFS, but am not enamored with it. Of course I also understand that following RAW is necessary for a living campaign.

rgr. I like that rule.


One thing I should be clear on, you don't get a free pass on lack of social skills by virtue of good roleplaying. If you can't manage the gather information (diplomacy) rolls, people won't impart any information they consider of importance or better than common knowledge.

This is not pointed at anyone in particular, it is a general statement about my GM approach.

should we just roll a diplomacy check whenever we ask a plot related question of an NPC?

DM, do you want Diplomacy checks every time we ask an in depth plot question, or just one (at the beginning of dialog) to get the ball rolling?
