It looked like the plan was to snipe at them as they advanced, and then engage with the survivors.
That said, I'm perfectly willing to retcon your actions from when you see seventeen ogres assembling for a sortie.

I can cast Badger's Ferocity on two weapons. This makes them keen -- that is, it doubles the critical threat range. It lasts as long as I want it to (concentration). Does anyone have some slashing or piercing weapons that they want Keen Edge on?

I can use come keen arrows but high Crit melee weapon are a better use.

Forgot about that, yes, we are inviable. Still getting out front of the group but as a surprise. Let me know when to roll the AOO for whoever gets closest first.
Going to crit 18 to 20 would be good for Trox's longsword. Not a crit farm build but going to work on that in the future.

So can I cast Badger's Ferocity on Trox even though I can't see him?
Casting Keen Edge on the arrows is a bit of a waste cause it only works for one arrow.
Anyone else want it?

I think it's reasonable to be able to cast a spell on an invisible party member. If the ogres were closer and/or smarter they might figure out that someone was there, but they're not.

That is rough since it is unsupported at this point. I can only use it on one of two computers at this point.

I reread the Keen Edge spell. I can actually apply it to 50 arrows or bolts for using it on a ranged weapon. It is just that after the arrow or bolt is used, that particular arrow or bolt is no longer keen.
So I will cast Badger's Ferocity on Trox and Erond.

Well Skarn, do we hold and let them come at us or charge them invisiablly?
I guess hold the ground so we stay in casting range but still it would be a great shot in the movie.
GM if they are that close and we don't move should we roll AOE's for when the close?

My plan would be to Ready to attack them as they pass, so we get both an AOO, and the Ready action attack!

Erond, how did you get a smokeshade as an improved familiar? The creature description says that you have to be within one alignment step of NE to get one with the Improved Familiar feat.

Thanks for the catch. I misremembered Erastil as lawful neural. I will work up a new familiar.
Someone should steal that familiar build a prankster evil cloud that can do flat-footed touch dirty tricks is awesome.
Edit: Question does the improved familiar feat text or the creature text superceded? It hink I many have been following the feat and alignment on AoN and missed the creature text. Either way find a new option today.

Cordwin, I think you need the Rapid Reload feat to get multiple attacks with a light crossbow. As far as I can tell from the version I have, that's not one of the feats that was condensed in the Elephant in the Room mods.

With a light crossbow you can load and shoot in the same round as loading is considered a move action, but you still need the rapid reload. Looks like I know what my next feat is!
