If Valerianna doesn't mind, Forsten could do with her Enlarge Person spell (since she's going monstrous physique instead). Would take him up to 26 Strength and a 20 foot reach with his Bardiche :D
EDIT: Hmm, I was just looking for the custom Magus Arcana we discussed Harakani. It doesn't look like we defined the restriction on it at all, for instance, what sort of action it take to shrink/enlarge, and just how big or small it can go. Obviously if it changes size more than twice then he can no longer use it as a weapon, but could he store it in his ear like oin the Monkey show, or could he enlarge it massively to use as like... a bridge across a chasm (albeit one requiring a balance check to cross)? Just something I figured I should bring up before we got into combat, since I'll need to know what sort of action it is (Free would be ideal, Swift less so (at least two other abilities that require swift actions) and worst a move action as I wouldn't then be able to shrink it and use spell combat in the same round.

I need a hand from our resident Mythic item, Grey. Though I'm open to input.
I'm thinking of making my staff into the ultimate magic tool. Cost is a factor and I'd like to get as much bang for my buck as possible.
Already has Spontaneous Immolation CL3 at will.
Here's what I'm looking to do
Have to haves:
-Mythic
-Intelligent
-Teleport (Staff only) 1/d
-Mnemonic Enhancer (4th. SL 3>) or Mages Lubrication if possible (6th. SL5>) at will. Can be limited to Evocation spells only if it reduces price. Evocation is sub-optimal by a lot, so it would be fun to have a lot of low level spells. Staff uses it on weidler
-True Resurrection 1/mo Works on Simon only. (my immortality and get out of death free plan. More flavor than mechanics.)
Besides the obvious the idea is that the staff uses Mnemonic enhancer on the welder every round as it's action. Weilder must be holding the staff when he casts the spell for it to be "refreshed." Evocation kind of sucks, so having a lot of it could make up for it's blasé-ness.
Since it's intelligent it would be able to use any of it's powers with it's own actions. Limited of course by the normal number of actions one can take in a round. Typically this'll just be the standard action.
Nice to haves:
-Undetectable
-Shape change
-Spell casting (easy source of fun powers)
-Unyielding
-Item can fly (item only)
-Might transmute the whole thing to Adamantine for added sturdiness.
-Other powers as would be fitting and fun
Any thoughts on the best way to do this and what it may cost?
I figure the other rune lords may want to do something similar to make their own "signature item" unique.

Well the Legendary Item mythic ability does a lot of what you want short of spellcasting (and I think at higher tiers can do that as well) but certainly flying, teleport to Simon at-will, Intelligent item. You can find it on page 169 of Mythic Adventures, it takes up to three Mythic Path abilities but it ends up being a pretty awesome Major Artifact, I haven't quite decided whether I'm going to go that route yet...

I saw that, but didn't see prices or how to build such a thing. Just price it like a non-version and go from there?

You have to take the Legendary Item Mythic Path Ability.
Legendary Item (Ex): You gain a legendary item (see
page 169). This item grants a number of abilities equal
to your tier (maximum 3). At 3rd tier, you can select this
ability again, increasing the maximum to six abilities and
causing the item to become a lesser artifact. At 6th tier,
you can select this ability again, increasing the maximum
to 10 abilities; the item then becomes a greater artifact

AHH. That was the piece I was missing. Thanks

Forsten said pretty much what I was going to say.
As for the cost, I'd just do each enchantment separately. Start with the one you like most, and then just keep piling them on as we get the money. All those spell effects are fairly minor, so even at 150% normal cost for adding them to in addition to the original enchantment, it isn't going to be excessive.

If a free action then it can shrink down; basically I feel that's a tad worse than an Alchemist's Hand discovery. In this case maximum size = Medium weapon (barring enlarge) and sure, minimum size=ear sized.
I was going to add a lot of caveats about times per turn, but basically don't abuse it and I won't.

Forsten, while we're all invisible I can't see you to target you with the spell. And once the gate's open, I'd rather not invest a full turn to just casting the spell right as the whole bruhaha erupts in front of us. But if Harakani's cool with retconning a casting of it in prior to our invisibilization, then yeah, I'd be fine sharing.

Ronald Dranstus |

We're in invisibility sphere so unless someone is outside it (Simon? Grey?) we can see each other fine.

Grey is elsewhere invisible. I'm next to you.

The Master in Grey |

Grey is outside the sphere, invisible under his own power. However, he is whisper linked to everyone, so he doesn't need to be able to see you. If it's an issue, you can just tell him where you are.
How do you folks want to kick off this mess?
GM, how long until my invisible spider makes it to the walls?

Simon Demarkus |

Just looked at the map. Am I correct in thinking that their is a group all bunched together about 15 feet away from me?
The evoker in me just jumped for joy on the inside.
As soon as we get next actions let me know. I have an idea.

Simon Demarkus |

Okay... so perhaps not quite enough of a power up.
Very impressive guys.
Also, we were pretty tactical and we haven't caught/killed the stag lord yet.

Forsten |

Heh. I didn't realize I could stack quite so many bonuses on my weapon until now :p Large helps a lot, even if it does make things a bit awkward with a reach weapon.
Being able to pre-buff like we did is always a huge benefit for parties with spellcasters and since that's the whole party...
Ohh, I think I just figured out what the Stag Lord is trying to do. This should be interesting.

FYI: Traveling for work next week and I'm not sure how much I'll be able to post. I'll post as I can, but bot me as needed. I've got three more rounds of Firestream left.

I'm back !!!
Really sorry for being away for so long but my hard drive crashed (in fact, it burned ...) Buying and installing a new one took quite longer than I thought :/ (and as it's past midnight here, I'll read everything tomorrow.. once more, I'm really sorry for that).

The Master in Grey |

No problem. I have so many ideas with this character that I have a hard time remembering what I've actually run by you and what was just spinning around in my head over the last few months. We'll go with whatever you remember.
