Blik |

Sorry about the lack of posts guys, I went out of town for St. Patty's Day.
Blik will yell out to silence, worry thick in his voice.
"Silence! Fall back!"
Worried about his furry friend and unwilling to risk hitting him, Blik will lob a bullet at the orange soldier, ready to dash up and help out Silence should he indeed retreat.

Anger had overcome common sense. As the sentinal slashed at him with his guard down the samurai grunted looking in confused shock at the wound as he slumped to the ground his life ebbing slowly away.

Hobbes 'Rat Trap' Bitterleaf |

I don't have heal. You might be dead. Shrug. Don't spoil the moment with facts.

Lyosha Neverhome |

Although painful the arrow sticking out of him is more akin to a thorn after seeing Silence fall to the floor. The pain actually flees further from his mind, as well the exertion from traveling in the cold, along with any sense of restraint.
Rage
He feels almost weightless as he steps across the floor to the nearest banditBlack and raises his sword with a dead look in his eyes.

Zsestrian's hex has a marked effect on Light Blue (failed save), but Blik's distraction makes it easy for his blow to land. (Blik takes 6pts damage). Neverhome cleaves through another Sentinel, and Hobbes' shot hits home on his target. Three Sentinels remain, but two are bloodied. The archers fire another volley, and Neverhome is hit again. (take 6pts damage). Orange then drops his bow and draws a shortsword.

Hobbes 'Rat Trap' Bitterleaf |

Hobbes takes another swing at blue.

"You have ten seconds!Ten...Nine..." Crow started to count slowly, both by the exertion of talking that much and because he didn't really want the countdown to finish and not have anyone to barge in.

Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10
Attack: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

Lyosha Neverhome |

If Neverhome is even aware as he steps onto the corpse that the bandit in front of him has switched weapons, or the second arrow sticking out of him, he doesn't show it. He has that same dead look in his eye, his essence slipping more and more into oblivion as he takes his swing.
Greatsword Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8

Blik |

As soon as the visible threats are gone, Blik will turn and wave his hands, as if waving breath back into the fallen Catfolk. Blik will cast Stabilize on Silence.
"Don't worry Silence, you'll be okay."
Edit: Whoops, didn't see that we were still in rounds. This will be Blik's next available action.

Hobbes 'Rat Trap' Bitterleaf |

Hobbes steps back towards Silence. "How's the furball?" He asks with some concern.
If told the kitty is alive, Hobbes will drop his weapon, draw his wand and heal the samurai pizza cat.
1d8 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9
If not, Hobbes will just keep his sword out and ready.

'Silence' |

Mule angry and horselike burst through the door, the sound of his muddy hooves clip-clopping on the ground obvious to everyone, the large warhorse had various cuts about it and was bleeding though lightly. Seeing the fallen catfolk the horse seemed to shiver and it moved to its fallen companion nuzzling him. For lack of better terms, the horse looked angry.
yay Silence not bleeding to death!
The large furred feline awoke suddenly with the magic of the wand eyes wide with a feral growl... then was promptly face nuzzled by the large warhorse. Glad to be back as well Mule, yes yes. He began his eyes searching for his sword and securing it. he looked a bit better, but certainly less than whole. did we win? He began from his spot on the floor.

Blik |

Happy that his beaten and bloodied allies are finally in the clear, Blik will breathe a sigh of relief when Hobbes uses the powers of the wand to help Silence. But then, when the skeletons burst into the room, Blik's mouth with drop in disbelief and horror.
"What!?"
With no time to think, Blik will drop his spear, retrieve his sling a move? and quickly fire off a shot at the blue skeleton.

Zsestrian, thankful for the healing wand, takes a quick step backward and screams in anger at Blue Skeleton. casting ear-piercing scream for 5pts sonic damage It explodes, showering icicles everywhere. (Mule takes 2pts cold damage, Reflex DC 11 for half). The remaining skeleton swipes ineffectually at Hobbes but is unable to penetrate the Halfling's armor. Suddenly, the bodies of two of the Sentinels stand back up! The injuries still marking their bodies are clearly lethal, but they've somehow been reanimated as Zombies....

'Silence' |

With the other strange cold exploding skeleton down and well esplodified Silence felt a bit better about their chances, though he still knew he was wounded. Another wave of the healy wand wouldnt be a bad thing. But first the zombies. Poor friend Zzestrian was probably not happy to see them there at all. With a deep breath he held high his katana, bringing it down in a violent slash. (at green if it wasnt esploded by the healy wand, otherwise the one remaining.)
With his attack complete he stepped back five feet slowly withdrawing close to Mule and his naginata.

As the last Zombie falls, Blik scans the room for additional enemies. He sees none, but as he goes back for another sweep, a man materializes several feet away. He's wearing armor and carrying a shortsword. Pointing at Blik, he commands, "Your allies have betrayed you. Destroy them!"

Lyosha Neverhome |

Even with his breathing ragged Neverhome will stand at the ready with his sword incase the man tries anything.
Readied attack in case he tries to move or grab something. Basically if anything other than his mouth moves, a heads gonna go a choppin.

Blik |

Snapping out of the enchantment, Blik will shake his head vigorously as if waking from a bad dream. Blik will shout out,
"Oh no! I'm sorry, that must have been some kind of magic! I didn't mean it, please still be my friends."
Loading his sling, ready for yet another zombie or ghoul to fly from the rafters Blik will say,
"What aren't you saying human? There's more to it... much more I think."

Your Benevolent Dictator |

The man raises his hands defensively. "Hey, hey, hey, there's no need for that. You got me, fair and square. I'm Rhokar, by the way. Leader of the High Sentinels - or what used to be them, anyway. We cleaned up these woods ages ago, and they've been safe ever since. But safety doesn't put coin in our pockets, so we've been 'creating' bandit activity to stay busy.
"A few weeks ago, these winter fey came to us with a way to make some real money. They wanted to set up some kind of magic portal thingy in these woods and needed our help to keep curious folks like yourselves from poking around. A couple days ago, that annoying mephit Isoze let us know they were ready to activate it. As far as I know, he's still around here somewhere. Fawfein, too. That sprite and his elk buddy stopped by yesterday to warn us about you.
"Anyway, we're just the hired muscle. If you're really wanting to keep investigating, I can lead you to the portal, but the fey and their leader are pretty tough. Might be better to stay here. You killed all my men, so I'm short some people. Hows about I cut you in on our little operation? Pay's pretty good, and it's easy work."
I should probably mention that combat's (finally!) over whenever you want it to be. :-)
