So if crows are good, but Crow is not a crow, are you saying poor Crow is bad? D:

Lyosha Neverhome |

If Crow was a crow would be a bad crow, but Crow is a raven so he's a good Crow :3

'Silence' |

Crows ravens.. all black birds that like shiney objects. Same same to Samukittehs

'Silence' |

Double doors.... *lawls* they better hope Mule is chatting up a pretty girl warhorse in the stable or something cause he can totally fit in those doors i bet *lawls*

Your Benevolent Dictator |

Don't worry about Mule. He's in a confined space with three potentially hostile men, so there's nothing to worry about. *evil GM grin*
As for this unexpected craziness (especially if you're familiar with Book One of this AP), all will be made clear in time (OOC if necessary). For now, it appears that Neverhome has forgotten that he'd noticed the Elk wasn't doing the talking when you ran into Fawfein....

Hobbes 'Rat Trap' Bitterleaf |

Maybe it was a psychic elk-moose?

Lyosha Neverhome |

Ooo so somebody's controlling the bandits and moosey hmmm...

Zsestrian Raven |

*Gasp* Elk-controlling, ventriloquist, ZombieKing assassin?
That, or the elk was actually made of cardboard and there was a Ratfolk or a gnome inside.
...
We said it was a bit larger than usual, yes? :P *Tries to desperately explain his crazy theories*
Really, I have no clues <.<

'Silence' |

Perhaps a silly and maybe greedy question but.. all the items miss Erika had disapeared with her as well yes yes?

Lyosha Neverhome |

I hope he doesn't forget us...

Zsestrian Raven |

From tomorrow, I'll be away from town and from any kind of Internet connection for about 4-5 days: I'll probably be able to do another post for the next turn as soon as GM YBD posts, tough. From that point, you'll have to roll for me for the next days (Just when things started to get interesting. I wan to see what's under those ceeiiiiilllingssss :/ ).
In short, I'll leave Zses in your trusty hands. Just don't turn him into Zombie food, please D:

Zsestrian Raven |

Okay, done. Have fun for the next days and save poor Samukitten!

Blik |

Have a good one! We'll get him up and yes yesing in no time.

Lyosha Neverhome |

... Wut...

Hobbes 'Rat Trap' Bitterleaf |

Well this just got worse.

Lyosha Neverhome |

Well it's not zombies so I guess Zes won't mind that much.

'Silence' |

I was thinking the same thing... although exploding skeletons might be worse than zombies.

Lyosha Neverhome |

Just remember:
The ones with flesh you slash.
The ones without you bash.

Lyosha Neverhome |

Ooo nice one Hobbes :3

Hobbes 'Rat Trap' Bitterleaf |

It was either that or bash him with my shield for 1d3. I still think I missed though. :(

Lyosha Neverhome |

Well in that case at least the charge didn't get used.

Hobbes 'Rat Trap' Bitterleaf |

Yea.

Lyosha Neverhome |

Sorry about not moving my guy myself, doing most of my posting from my phone which google docs won't let me play with :(

Lyosha Neverhome |

He did... Also killsteal...

'Silence' |

Psh samurai do not become bandits. Aytack him too mister tired gonna fall asleep from overanger.

'Silence' |

Psh samurai do not become bandits. Attack him too mister tired gonna fall asleep from overanger, i might miss.

Your Benevolent Dictator |

Congrats everyone! Go ahead and level yourselves up, and post here when you're done. You've also been restored to full HP, and any spells or limited-use abilities have recharged (so Zes has all his spells, Silence has full rage, etc). Just let me know what's changed on your sheet (eg. HP 8 --> 12, Perception +1 rank, etc). HP can be rolled, or you can go PFS-style if you don't like your roll (d6 = 4HP, d8 = 5HP, d10 = 6HP, d12 = 7HP). Finally, during this long, arduous fight, all of you have become more able to resist injury and carry on fighting even when all hope seems lost. Gain Godless Healing or Toughness as a bonus feat (your choice).

Lyosha Neverhome |

Woot! Samukitteh gets the rage ability too.
Also yeti cloak. I wants.

Lyosha Neverhome |

If someone else wants it I don't mind, I just have that whole -2 AC while raging :(

Okay, should have done everything. I'll update Zses and Crow statuses and post something tomorrow (here is late and I'm dozing off on the keyboard :P).
Just one thing: YBD, how do you rule Silent Image and other Illusion spells? When do they get a save? For example, I use Silent Image to create the image of a stone wall to hide behind. They get a save to disbelief the illusion when they touch the wall or when they "study it carefully", no? And what does study it carefully means?
Yeah, I know I'm annoying, but I want to use Illusions so bad, they're so cool :3

Your Benevolent Dictator |

@Zes: as someone whose dream is to one day play a full-on illusionist character and still be an effective party member, I'm pretty lenient with those spells. In your stone wall example, they'd get a save (with that annoying +4 bonus) if they touch the wall, throw something at it, etc. Depending on how you cast the spell, they may also be more likely to disbelieve the illusion. For example, there's a difference between randomly creating a wall vs. "Your missiles are powerless, for the rocks themselves will protect me!" *casts silent image. In other words, flavor and creativity are very important to me when it comes to illusions. As long as you can rationalize the illusion in-character, people will be less-inclined to disbelieve. So, while a stone wall is cool, a giant wall of fire will prevent people from wanting to touch it (no save if you justify the wall's sudden existence).
I'm also pretty easygoing with the spell limits regarding moving images. I used to play a Gnome Illusionist with a Roc animal companion. He used silent image to keep it disguised as an odd-looking dog that squawked occasionally. Technically a bit outside the limits of the spell, but cool as hell, so the GM allowed it. Give me fun stuff to play with, and I'll be inclined to do the same.
@Everyone: I'll doublecheck everyone's updated sheets in a little bit and will be ready to move on at your convenience. :-)

Zsestrian Raven |
