Actually, they're just getting the fight wrapped up now. True, there's two fire casters, but burning hands has such a limited range. :-( You guys lack a healer, Group One lacks ranged support.

I was thinking about the knowledge roll from before: I was trying to say that they were immune to critical hit, but I fear I couldn't get the point across D:. How can you define a critical hit in character?


"Since it's just a big chunk of ice, don't bother aiming for vital points; it doesn't have any." (immune to precision damage)

For me, a critical hit just means the attack was particularly effective. For example, Erika's crit on the snowman during the Surprise Round hit right between its eyes. Knowing that a creature's immune to crits really just matters from a player perspective (less dice to roll and crit-dependent abilities won't trigger). Just my opinion, of course. If anyone else has a better way, I'm all ears. :-)

What's everyone's thoughts on recruiting a replacement party member? I know you're lacking a dedicated healer, but you do have a wand of CLW and multiple PCs with some healing capability. I know the five of you can survive the AP as is, but it'll definitely be very rough at times, and you won't be able to survive if you follow the typical "break down the door and kill everything" adventuring mentality. As such, I'm leaving it up to you. If you want me to reopen recruitment, I'm happy to do so. If not, that's equally acceptable; I'll just keep encounter difficulty slightly higher to accommodate the larger party. :-)

I am indeed game for whatever. I just imagine when groups were chosen they were chosen with some semblance of party balance in mind. Wands work for low levels sure. I worry more about mid to late game, and its often easier to find someone willing to jump in earlier than later. I know there were a few healer/rogue-like people who originally applied to this game who might be willing especially if their build is still there. Its not like we have progressed that far (i beleive) into the mod for them to catch up.

Just my thoughts on the matter, seriously i am game for whatever. Would you be open to say the leadership feat and a cohort later YBD?
