You can get one from the apothecary, temple, or Old Mother Theodora. They sell for 15gp per charge, to a max of 50 charges (750gp). Generally, you can sell loot at the General Store.

I aggre with Calvin laid back kitten Samurai, let's sell what we can and I'll wield the wand (Until I get Healing Hex at level 4).
We have to defend ourselves from all these one-shotting bites :P.

In regard to what to keep, did we bring with us the extra weapons from the stash, or only what we wanted(Longsword, armor, crossbow and funky-curve-sword)? If it's necessary, I'll also sell the Desna pendant :(

it literally came up to me as i was typing that out and i too went.. hmm thats actually not a bad idea, just about anything can be turned into leather.. i would avoid humanoids i suppose, though i woudlnt imagine too many people would be up in arms by say a piece of gnoll in there or whatever.

By the way, I'm doing some calculation about how much we could ask for the weaponry, head and chest. I'll roleplay that in character in the gameplay thread after I posted here what I think their approximate value is.

Then, I went to check the chest price just to know if I could say, before DM Your Benevolent Dictator told us how much it was worth, "It's not worth much" or "This could fetch a couple of coins..."and I found...

Cost To determine the price of a darkwood item, use the original weight but add 10 gp per pound to the price of a masterwork version of that item.

So, the chest was made from Darkwood, it was 2 feet long, 3 feet large and 2-3 feet deep. That should be 12 cubic feet, no?
I checked the weight for a Huge Chest: 250 lbs!
Those should be 2500G... I mean, the vendor won't buy at full price, and the chest has been in the snow for some time, but those are still a lot of money for first level, no? Have I missed something important?

maybe he meant its a 'dark' wood chest as in color. if something strikes your fancy as a need we can keep it, I wont lie, If its not samurai flavoured Silence wont want it, I mean sure eventually i'll have to bite the bullet on armour at least. I m sure Neverhome would prefer to change the chain shirt out for the breastplate, so he has pretty good ac and his bonus to movement still but i see a wand of cure light out of all that which is prolly the goal.
And as to miss Erika, she could still become a viking shield maiden, heck or even a future samurai herself or something i make no promises as to Silence's future. I mean is Silence even a boy? *Lawls*

This one concurs *nods nods* Erika is Erika and is friend. *nods* If you want that curved wants to be a katanna sword go for it. Heck Silence will even 'show' you how to use it and all that good stuff. at least show you how to use it in a rp way that by no means denotes any actual skill with it, but you prolly knew that laready anywho!


@Hobbes: I tend to give PCs a free rebuild early on in the adventure once they've had some time assessing their character. If you want to do that now, that's completely fine. Swap out archetypes/traits/whatever; just let me know what changes. :-)

The Desnan Holy Symbol is a bit special. Yes, you can get 25gp for it, but as it is the only tangible remnant of a holy man, there may be repercussions down the road if you treat it as simply a means of easy cash. *evil GM grin*

Tatzylwyrm Head - because it's only found in Irrisen, you might be able to get a couple hundred gp for it - if it's taxidermized properly and you can find an interested collector.

Chest - Damn! I hadn't anticipated y'all trying to sell it, so I just made up some random info. Zsestrian's calculations are spot-on. However, due to the significant amount of environmental damage, you'll probably only be able to get around 750gp for it.

One last thing: Heldren's a small town with a purchase limit of 2500gp, so you'll want to be careful not to bankrupt the treasury as that'll affect future interactions. ;-)

Alright pretty much done. Lowered cha a bit to int for more skills. Traded Fast Talker for Trap Finder. Not trained in bluff anymore(but I'll get it back someday), but trained in handle animal and stealth now. And I can use wands/will get spellcasting.


Unless your character was employed as a tanner at some point, I'd prefer Craft(leatherworking).

@Hobbes: double-check your skill modifiers. Bluff looks a little off, for example. Also, which skills do you have ranks in, and what's the situational Disable Device modifier?
