I am not unreasonable. I even let Robin have his waffle iron and tripod even though they are not on The List, since they don't interfere with the intent of The List.
I think I'm going to have to redo my conception of my character. I really don't have him fitting in the Regular Joe ethos.
I'll give it some thought

OK. I'm a blacksmith. Does anyone know where I can find any stats on a blacksmith's hammer?
I just went regular old hammer figured that was on the list and I could just assume it was a Blacksmith hammer based on my concept and background.

If it helps the PRD has this entry which can't be linked to, but if you use this link for Adventuring Gear, just scroll down a bit.
Hammer: If a hammer is used in combat, treat it as a one-handed improvised weapon that deals bludgeoning damage equal to that of a spiked gauntlet of its size.
I would imagine a blacksmith's hammer is likely to be a masterwork version though since anyone who is a blacksmith would only gain that title really by having completed one masterwork. Unless your man is still a journeyman, of course.
EDIT: Just saw there is this entry for a sledge which could also work depending on the size of your hammer. Some blacksmith hammers are depicted as being fairly large and some small, so your choice on that most likely.

Much appreciated!

Ugh. Forgot we already have a blacksmith. Ok. I'll go with shepherd then

Please forgive my disappearance. I've had to start a third shift job to make ends meet, and have been picking up extra work there in addition to dealing with my clients. When I am awake, I can rarely think.
I've told the night job that they need to find another contractor to handle the extra work permanently, but I'll fill in until they do. Some nights, I'm done by 4 am and am actually human the next day.
I'll get the initial post up and we'll be off and running!

Can you guys see the gameplay thread?
For some reason, it's not letting me post to the thread. When I hit "Submit Post," I get a message that reads "You have made three posts as [avatar name]. You can change your avatar name until you have posted 10 messages to the messageboards. If you do not wish to change your avatar name, you can ignore this message." If I hit "Submit Post" again, it just refreshes the screen, and if I try to click on the date stamp, it kicks me back to the Paizo homepage. I thought it was just a one-time bug, but it's still happening several days later.

Odd, even though I dotted no update was indicated, will have a post up no later than Monday.

That's weird. I have had that happen with Gameplay threads in which I deleted the first post (that's a bad thing to do, I guess), but I and others can post in this one. I will send it up to support. I don't want to really get rolling without everyone on board. UPDATE: Turned in to website support.

Quick notes:
* Don't forget your CMB/CMD calculations!
* Please put a character description in either your character page (like Hunter) or your first post. It should be at least visual, but feel free to include auditory and olfactory characteristics if applicable.
* Please have your description line include at least the information that Flouncy and Dexter have: HP/AC/CMB-CMD/Init/Perception. Saves are nice. Order doesn't matter.
* Unfortunately, there's no mechanism for sekrit DM rolls in pbp. If I roll for you, I will do so in preview, copy/paste the results into my master document, and proceed with the results.

I'll aim to get to all this before the end of the weekend (if not sooner).
Flouncy Magoo |
Spent the last 2 days struggling to replace the pads, fluid and the front brake line on my motorcycle. Finally got it done after a lot of swearing and sweating. The cycle shop would have charged me a fortune to do it, though.
The good news is that when I do it again, it'll go much easier.
Now I'm ready to play. Flouncy's good to go.

That song was just a bit of silliness. Robin's Wis is super low to provide an RP excuse for some of the bad choices he's more than likely going to make.
I was thinking of having him bemusedly suggest everyone was having the same dream, and that song just popped into my head. I couldn't resist the reference, but I won't make a habit of it. I think Treppa is going for a a little bit more of a serious tone. :P

While not a fan of the song in RL it felt like a great quote in the moment of this game! You could be the glass is half full PC as Dex is the glass is half empty PC.

I am not dead (yet), but drowning.
Updating pbps is on my schedule for Thursday, 21 september. I will post at least something in all active pbps, and schedule an hour 4x/week to do pbps after that (sat/sun/tue/thu).
To my players: sorry for the delay, and thank you for your patience.
To gms and other players: feel free to bot me if I am holding up the game.
