"Don't be silly," she said, mock outraged, "the nanites I injected into Ryo's system are functioning perfectly. And it's his own fault they had to be injected. He's the one who insisted on channeling energy through his arm. I had used a simple surface connection the first time. But he needed something fancier. On the bright side, illness is unlikely to be a problem again ever." ^.^

Never before has the first line of a Song been more fitting.
"Hey, I didn't insist on anything! I was just trying to get the hellhound of my arm! How was I suppose to know that doing so would fr- You injected what into me!?"
Hello fast healing and regeneration!

lol. Yep, very appropriate. :)
"Nanites. You needed a stronger bridge between your body and your mechanical arm. So, now you have nanites acting as a bridge so that you don't overload anything and hurt yourself. And they boost your immune system, repair damage, that sort of thing. I would think that's a good thing." ^.^

"So you put a bunch of miniscule mechanical bugs into my body and didn't think to tell me about it? It didn't seem important to tell me about the little machines swarming.. in.." He brakes off as he starts to laugh quietly.
"I shouldn't have expected anything less from our resident metal-head!"

Cardcaster Ryo |

"Ah, don't worry about it. It's just a little unsettling to learn you've got something crawling around inside you. I'm not going anywhere, even if you get mad at me and decide to throw boulders at me. I might leave to get a few more tons of food, but I'll come back."
"We're family now, you know? So if these nanites keep me up and running, more power to them. If you keep up with this kind of advanced tech though, I think we should get you your own workshop when we get back, like Razzy's lad, Ormarr's desert room, or Addy's garden."

"Ooh, a workshop of my own? Really!!! You're the best," she said, impulsively giving him a quick hug. ^.^
Hope I calculated these skill points right. I think I might be coming in a bit low here. :)

Going to Holiday World & Splashing Safari today, so I'm not going to be on today. You guys also need to go look in the OOC thread for Agartha.

When there was just padding left in the box, Aananda tosses/helps Ryo in and jumps in after him.
Tam climbs in and lowers the top back on, sealing it with a mending spell.
"You two probably want to activate your oxygen supplies - there's no guarantee where we're going will have air..."

Razule Yrrum |

"Razzy, since you're more than likely watching, contact you-know-who and repeat what's happened. I don't want to use any tech unless neccessary, in case someone can track the signal."
"Okay, where did I put that crystal... there it is! Right by the smokesticks and acid!"
"Ryleh? It looks like they've been spotted by something and are now, um, caught? They're in a box and going somewhere right now."

Ryleh |

There is a slight pause.
"Thank you for telling me, Razule. I have them under observation now."

As the gravitics kick in and the trio returns to the bottom of the container, it starts to get cold, and they can see their breath now.
"Oh, crap. ....and that's another upgrade we really need. Ummmmm.....I sort of forgot to add any kind of temperature control," she whispered sheepishly.

"Okay, where are we going and why?"
"My guess is that the Professor has some remote teleporting magic at his disposal, and decided to whisk away his stuff to a safer location. And to make sure there weren't any hitchhikers," as he casts a quick spell of his own, "...he teleported the containers out into space somewhere."

"I know - the total protection magic. Time to take care of that before we freeze to death or die of radiation poisoning," he tries to say calmly as he starts printing out some scrollware at speed. ;D

"I'll try and buy you some time. Don't rush and make mistakes Tamrin, not now."
He holds up Fire and calls forth a small flame in front off each of them, holding the chill of deep space at bay.
"I won't make it any bigger, so we don't tax our oxygen supply until Tam can get his spell up. Unless we have a replenishing air supply?"

"The autocasters only produce enough for a couple of hours. It was really only designed as a failsafe to give someone time to get to someplacce safe. Obviously I need to make quite a few modifications to my designs."
She was talking too fast, trying not to think about the words radiation poisoning.

"Mine is replenishing," as he touches his neck instead of his wrist, "But We should be fine. Hang on," as three sheets get spit out from his datapad.
He then reads the arcane formulae off of the first one, and his shivering stops. He then casts it on Aananda and Ryo.
"Okay, that's bought us enough time to find out where we are and get back to more hospitable digs."

Aananda wrote:"Okay, so I have to ask, how much er radiation is there out in space and how much exposure is considered okay?"Ryo plugs his ears and starts humming at the words "I have to ask..."
And you thought his reactions to being in a ship were bad, just remind him he's in a box... ;P
lol. She's totally oblivious having just discovered some major worries of her own. :)

"Okay, so I have to ask, how much er radiation is there out in space and how much exposure is considered okay?"
"There's lots of it out in space - enough to kill an unprotected body almost as fast (if not faster) than lack of oxygen or pressure. It can kill just about any creature of flesh and blood that isn't patently resistant or immune to it."
"Fortunately, dragons - being pretty resistant to everything - can take a lot more than a human can. You and the babies are fine now that the spell's up...and we're not going to stick around long enough for it to be a worry again," he says, giving her hand a squeeze.

"So this isn't going to cause them any long term damage?"
"I mean, the doctor said to be careful just handling volatile materials....and this definitely sounds worse than that."

Okay, you win the Worry War. It might explain Taron's apparent lack of interest though...
Ooh, radiation pisonics...
