"I mean, the doctor said to be careful just handling volatile materials....and this definitely sounds worse than that."
Okay, you win the Worry War. It might explain Taron's apparent lack of interest though...
Ooh, radiation pisonics...
Somehow I knew it would end up as superpowers. ;)

"Okay, this is why I didn't like the asteroid." Ryo says as he pops his shoulder back into place. "I can't believe that worked..."
"Do we still need the skins?" Ryo asks, reffering to teh illusions he's still powering.
"I don't know - we might want to get out of this thing first before you drop the illusion."

Aananda wrote:"So...what is this container made of?""Steel and plastics, it looks like. At least if the bruising's any indication." ;P
"Well, I can warp the steel, but not the plastics....It still might help to make the container easier to break though."
She concentrated very hard, trying to gain control over the metal and bend it to the side, the side of the container warping as she did.
Gah! Stupid gorram alarm clock! How exactly does it decide to go off at ten when I had set it for 8:30???? Okay, I probably wouldn't have gotten up then since the kidlet kept me up a lot of the night because he was having stomach pain on account of eating too much dairy, but still, it disturbs me that the blasted thing has started malfunctioning so much. Guess it's time to exchange it for one that works. :/

Yep - sounds like it's time to retire that clock. When you do you can take it outside and go all Office Space on it. It'll be very kathartic :D
Aananda's warping manages to break the seal on the top of the container. Cold air rushes in, and she thinks she sees something white through the crack.

Imperial Chronicler |

"Is that....snow?" she whispered. "Are we back on the comet?"
As if in answer, something hits the container again, sending it toppling end over end before breaking open against something hard.
Everybody takes another 2d8 + 17 ⇒ (3, 2) + 17 = 22 bludgeoning damage from the impact. To avoid being prone on the ground, please make an Acrobatics check - DC 25.
Total damage sustained to this point = 60 points bludgeoning

Aananda |

Acrobatics: 1d20 + 23 ⇒ (9) + 23 = 32
She grunted with pain and wiped blood off of her face from where she banged her head on someone else's boot. She stood woozily trying to find the source of her problems. She needed to end this.
"Tam? Ryo? You okay?"
What is the makeup of what's under her feet? Cause if it's earth some of it is about to go flying. :)

Imperial Chronicler |

Aananda is able to gain her feet again as she rises up...and sees a white-out of snow and ice all around her. It appears that they are indeed back on the comet. Or a comet, at least...
On a positive note, nobody is feeling the effects of the cold at the moment, thanks to Tam's protective spell.
A large, indistinct form is barely visible to her in the distance.
She'd have to dig down a few hundred feet at least to get a good sized chunk of rock.

Imperial Chronicler |

She curses silently and starts looking around for cover, the only earth around just a little too far away for her to pull it to her.
"What do we do now?"
A booming baritone voice slices through the wind and the snow, seemingly coming from multiple directions at once as it replies to Aananda's question.
"You can start by telling me who you really are, woman, since ISPD don't babble and hug each other like giddy schoolchildren."

Dantyreslithorn the Tarnished |

A sizable form becomes more distinct in the snowstorm, it's silhouette clearly draconic. The storm parts briefly, and you can see the Professor, once again wearing his true form.
"Hmmm...so not children after all. Or just impertinent. You can either tell me," as he looks down at Aananda, "or this place will be your tomb," as his tail shatters a nearby upthrust of ice.
Oh, and Will saves all around, if you please ;)

Aananda |

Aananda glares at the Silver.
Without any earth to use for weapon or shield she was uncomfortably vulnerable and couldn't afford to take much more damage.
Out of desperation she used her breath weapon. A line of force shot out at the Silver.
DC 19 Ref for half 8d8 ⇒ (1, 1, 4, 1, 6, 1, 3, 7) = 24
And then she ran as fast as she could towards whatever cover she could find.

Reflex Save: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (8) + 15 = 23
The bolt of magical force hits him in the shoulder. He looks surprised for a second, then inhales, calling out:
"Once again, diplomacy fails!"
Let's get some initiative rolls here so we know who goes when.

Tamrin Sunwake |

As soon as Aananda starts running and the Silver speaks, Tam rises up and sends a hail of caster shells downrange to cover her.
Ranged Touch Attack rolls:
1d20 + 22 ⇒ (2) + 22 = 24
1d20 + 17 ⇒ (7) + 17 = 24

3 Fireball shells. Damage:
10d6 ⇒ (2, 4, 2, 5, 3, 5, 6, 5, 5, 3) = 40

[blink, blink]
And this is why the Total Protection spell is everyone's friend. ;D
Everyone starts out with 204 points of protection from cold damage. Reduce this amount by the damage each character just took, based on their saving throw. Once those points are used up, that form of protection is gone.
The spell also protects against acid, fire, electricity, and sonic damage, as well as radiation damage (which is considered elemental, for game purposes).

Aananda suddenly blinks out of sight.
So.....planar travel....this should be fun....planning on bringing back a few souvenirs....:P
