"Felicitas, watch your back!"
Karnog whirls to scan the area for threats.
"Something thinks to sneak up on us, smelling of blood and sweat..."

Suddenly out of from the left backside comes a massive huge male dire boar in heat and it's bearing down on those in the rear of the troup. This boar has a 15 foot reach and it's the size of a horse .
1 karnog, 2 Kalim, 3 Felic, 4 Nym: 1d4 ⇒ 3
Desmond normally assumes point, followed by Grung. I assume Nym would be out near the middle tlaking to Karnog or Kalim.
[ooc]I need to work on putting a map together. For now assume Desmond and Grung are 30 and 20 feet ahead of the others. The creature is charginin form the left Karnog and Felic would be the closest. Nym and Kalim are a bit farther away.

Posting incase I'm not able to tomorrow morning. After Des takes his turn
Seeing the beast spring from the bush Nym reaches down and grab his cross bow *thiwg* a looses a bolt at the creature.

"A baby crossbow?!? That's funny, Nym, real funny!"
Karnog laughs out loud as the drowning shots with a pistol sized crossbow.
baldwin the merciful
The massive dire boar scraps it's foot on the ground and begins it's charge, snorting and huffing as it barrels towards the flat-footed Felicitas. If it wasn't angry before the baby bolt dinked off it, it is now. Dust stirs as it shakes the ground.
gore,: 1d20 + 21 ⇒ (17) + 21 = 38;damage: 4d6 + 19 ⇒ (1, 5, 3, 1) + 19 = 29
* 15 foot reach
**This ain't no cuddly little dire boar
The boar's tusk screwers the bard and blood splatters everywhere as it viciously shakes its head.

Karnog casts blessing of fervor and draws his hammer.
"Oi! Ya big old pig, you picked the wrong team to try and eat. We're gonna eat good tonight!"
Casting Time 1 standard action
Components V, S, DF
Range close (25 ft. + 5 ft./2 levels)
Targets one creature/level, no two of which can be more than 30 ft. apart
Duration 1 round/level
Saving Throw Fortitude negates (harmless); Spell Resistance yes (harmless)
With this blessing, you call your allies to move forth and empower them to conquer and become victorious. Each round for the duration of this spell, each of your allies can choose one of the following bonuses for that round at the beginning of its turn (their choice).
Increase its speed by 30 feet.
Stand up as a swift action without provoking an attack of opportunity.
Make one extra attack as part of a full attack action, using its highest base attack bonus.
Gain a +2 bonus on attack rolls and a +2 dodge bonus to AC and Reflex saves.
Cast a single spell of 2nd level or lower as if it were an enlarged, extended, silent, or still spell.
These effects are not cumulative with similar effects, such as those provided by haste or a speed weapon, nor do they actually grant an extra action, so you can't use it to cast a second spell or otherwise take an extra action in the round. Blessing of fervor does not stack with haste.
NB: free metamagic for spells of 2nd level or lower. Use those extends, folks!

Me turn!!
pretty sure I can charge so I'm taking the +2's if I am reading it wrong and can't charge then I need the movement and take 2 off my attack
Grung charges swinging Croaker wildly
Croaker: 1d20 + 25 - 4 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 25 - 4 + 2 + 2 = 32 for 1d10 + 12 + 8 ⇒ (7) + 12 + 8 = 27
AC 38 on the aoo if I couldn't charge then the attack loses 4
Karnog Kegmeister
Ennervation works just as well...hint, hint, wink, wink.
Free extend spell on acid arrow or ray of enfeeblement might be nice if you're looking to conserve spell slots.
Grungsdi
what should I do? I definitely want to conserve my spell slots
Grungsdi
Grung laughs as he trhwos up his shield casually. Enjoying the clang

Updated Map after Grung Charges
*I'm starting to get a hang of the new mapping with google drive. I still prefer the ease of the old dropbox but this will do for now.

May I recommend casting "axe". I've heard it can be quite effective!

I see it now. I was looking under the attack tab and the dice profile. By the way, the second dice attack has an extra 1 in it. You have it d124.

"We'll be eating good tonight! Plenty of pork to go round, the let's divvy up this beast."
Karnog casts CMW to heal Felicitas from her boar tusk wounds, silently since he can.
2d8 + 10 ⇒ (2, 5) + 10 = 17 HP healed
He then casts ant haul on King Grungsdi, extending it.
"What was that about eating people? Were you talking about this thing, Desmond?"
Felicitas Sweetfingers
Healing herself with two cure light wounds, she looks at the boar. "This did hurt, stupid one. But at least tonight we feast plenty!" she then casts extend heroism on herself

Desmond points off to the trees. "Over there, an arm bone. Looks fresh." Desmond leads the others to the area, looking around cautiously.

Grung looses interest as he sees the maggots on the humerus bone. Bah, just a maggoty ol' bone.
Meanwhile, Karnog takes a closer look at the bone and teeth markets.
You figure if you all look hard enough you should come across the ambush or battle site but it is dark now, so your chances of finding the site is greatly reduced.
Karnog Kegmeister
"Ork bones, and freshly chewed. Looks like a giant gnawed on this person raw, and recent. I imagine we'd find more evidence nearby, but with the dark it's likely a fools errand. We should press on, no sense letting any more citizens get attacked."
baldwin the merciful
The party hustles forward till it hits the end of Orctown. As you break out of the wooded area, you remember the stream that flows through the ruined remains of an ancient village. You remember how perfectly it was suited for a killing field before the entrance to the cavern stronghold formerly used by Daarog's as his hideout.
Now to your surprise you can see the outer defenses of the 3 foot wall surrounding the area. It looks as if there is work to raise the wall that is in the planning stage. You also notice one wooden out building near the entry way to the village. There is activity near the building and the entry.
Additonally, you can see several new wood building under construction and a late harvest coming in along with some farm animals.
baldwin the merciful
As you approach you can see a guard on a balcony at the gatehouse. That orc is shouting down to others on the ground. The orcs on the ground begin to scurry around in response. You also notice a few heads pop up from behind the 3 foot protective wall. Quite few of those heads have oversized beady eyes...goblins.
Karnog Kegmeister
Karnog calls put to the community, beginning with ork, then common, then undercommon.
"Hoi, Orctown! Karnog, Kalim, and the rest of us return! We have brought a large pig to eat, and have many stories to share."
Karnog smiles as he sees the defenses raised, looking askance at the big-headed goblin faces.
"What news do you have to share? Any missing scouts or outriders? Any sign of giants or other dangerous foes?"
Heading into Orctown, Karnog moves to drop his gear off and settle down at a large table with a grunt.
"It's good to be back."
Orcs!
The guard at gate scrunches his brow, "Missun hunters...no come back, go long time."
Three other orcs gather around as you move inside the gate. They've heard of you but not seen the legends known as Kalim and Karnog. "Fathers of the City". Then suddenly another 8 goblins appear out of nowhere. Goblins are new here.
"Fuud...guud." The orc looks at one of the goblins. "goblun go git Meath'd."
It's still a bit unsettling seeing "non-violent orcs and now goblins" living in a community.
Once inside you can see they have an agri-business going: some limited crops and farm animals. Being the first year of the community this is impressive. There are signs of other trade occurring in the town.
