I was thinking the same thing. I plan on picking up a blank spellbook and transcribing the Book of Torag into orcish so they will have a decent religious grounding.

This is all dependent on them not relapsing back into savagery, of course.

Books/instruction on animal husbandry, crafts, and farming would likely be a great find, but who knows if we can get them (and then we'd still have to translate into orcish)

Going to sell the masterwork full-plate, and pick up some +2 full plate.

825 selling price for MWK full-plate, 5650 for the armor = 1,727 remainder.

I believe flaming property cost more than 2000.

+1 bastard 2000 (plus msw and weapon cost)
Keen ability cost 6000 (effectively adding the next +1 enhancement)
Adding the Flaming costs 10000 (taking it from a +2 to +3 weapon basically)

So your total cost in the weapon should be
35 (weapon) + 300 (MSW) + 2000 (+1 enhancement) + 6000 (Keen ability) +10000 (Flaming)= 18,335

Is it ok to purchase the following Scabbard of Vigor for 1800GP? Is it available, or can I order it made?

Once per day, as part of the action of drawing forth the weapon held by the scabbard, the wearer can order it to endow the weapon with an enhancement bonus on attack and damage rolls. The duration of the effect depends on the desired enhancement bonus for the weapon.

I assume Karnog and Kalim will want to resupply the orcs first. That not a big issue since they are in the general direction as the the graveyard.

You also know of a few other entrances into the dungeon. Lots of options.

Let me know you intent so I can brush-up on those levels of the dungeon.

Way I see it:

Option 1: fight the ogres while we keep an eye on Mr. Red

Option 2: fighting withdrawal and "kite" the ogres away

Option 3: break and run (not recommended)

Option 4: challenge Mr. Red directly, see if his involvement engages or chases away the ogres.
