S#!t. I don't like this. Someone cover me. I am probably gonna regret this, but I am gonna move in to take a peak.

If no one appears before he is able to act, Clean will wait for someone to move into "covering position", then move through the door and make a perception to spot any enemies.

Radsworth raises an eyebrow. The Fierce Ones, such as they were, were full of daring today.

Marcus just sits contentedly, waiting to see or smell anyone not in their little group.

Actually, every little bit helps...

Marcus casts Bless. Assuming there is more than one person within 50 feet of him, I'm honsetly frickin' confused at where everybody is and the distances involved with everything.

How I understand it, Since the room is 20 by 15, everyone has either just entered (so on the west side of the room) or still in the stairwell. I am behind a table near the center of the room (10 feet in or so) and you (Marcus) have entered and moved into one of the shadowy corners (north or south east corner of the room) and MJ is next to fluffy bunny and dead Devil Ray in the exact-ish center. Hope that helps. If I am mistaken by the current layout of the scene, please correct me oh mighty GM or other who has better spacial awareness than myself! :D

Male Human Two-handed fighter 10/urban barbarian 9/cleric of Sif 1; Mythic Champion tier 10; hp 263

I'll cover ya, Clean....

MJ moves up after Mr Clean, blade raised to strike at any foes that appear....

M Human unchained monk 8/paladin 6

I have the advantage of having a map and battle mat in front of me.... I know it must be harder to imagine based just on my limited descriptions, but I'll try to clarify the situation a bit....

The office where the Devil Ray lays dead is in the SW corner of the fourth floor, with a 10-ft-wide hall running East-West.... The stairs the party came up lie at the east end of the hall, and another stairway lies at the west end.... Two more offices lie along the south side of the hall on the south side of the fourth floor.

Most of the party is actually in the hall just outside the SW corner office, with Derrik and MJ now positioned to face the next wave of enemies, which will come from the two offices on the south side (just 10 ft and 30 ft from the front line formed by Derrik and MJ....

Marcus, Radsworth, and Daisy are just west of Derrik and MJ.... Yingzen is probably hopping out into the hall from the SW corner office.... And Mr Clean has just slipped between Derrik and MJ to have a peek into the next office down the hall on the south side, from whence the sounds of potion guzzling have been coming the last two rounds....

Peering into the office, Clean beholds a statuesque red-haired woman of cold beauty, clad in black robes with a necklace of brass spheres around her neck, drawing a potion from a bandolier and uncorking it, quaffing its contents hastily....

She gasps in alarm at the sight of the gun-toting svirfneblin in the doorway....

Initiative 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5

Hearing the call to arms, the Morays in the offices to the east and north rise to heed the call....

Round 3 still!
Derrik
Mr Clean (peeking)
Marcus (sniffing and casting bless)
Radsworth
Yingzen-bunny
Mikey Jay (covering and readying)
Cultists (2) (drinking)
Daisy
Morays (16)

Eeeeeeek!!!

Female Human (Navajo) Cleric 20; Mythic Hierophant tier 10; hp 176

Daisy holds her actions, waiting for an obviously helpful course of action to present itself....

The 16 Morays in the four offices along the east and north sides of the fourth floor take up arms and hustle out into the hallway that makes a square circuit of the fourth floor....

Male Human Monk 5 (Qinggong Master of Many Styles from the Sacred Mountain)/Fighter (Brawler) 3

S&##! I know what I wanted to do now. Forgot about Yingzen. Any objection to me not casting Bless and instead trying to Dispel Yingzen's Polymorph instead?

M Human unchained monk 8/paladin 6

None here.

Human Dark Tapestry Oracle 15; Mythic Hierophant Tier 6; HP: 114/114

Marcus rethinks his little prayer when he spots Yingzen hopping forlornly away from the combat.

Well let's see if we can get him fixed right up then! he thinks to himself.

He points his finger at Yingzen and makes a motion with his other hand as if he's crushing something.

1d20 + 8 ⇒ (8) + 8 = 16

I don't think that makes it. =/

M Human unchained monk 8/paladin 6

I'm afraid that doesn't cut the mustard.... Lol

Must be some crusty mustard, indeed!

Oh S#1T! Is that a Squatch?! Are you kidding me? No one told me we were fighting Squatches!

M Human unchained monk 8/paladin 6

Technically, you only used a move action to move to the next doorway, and a free action to request cover and exclaim about the 'squatch....

Blake knocks a knuckle on Derrik's armor and the pistol on MJ's knee as he darts back past them into the safety of the area behind the front line.

Tag, you two are it. Have fun with the She-Squatches, I'll give ya some cover fire. Jus so your know, I doubt they will be makin their way up here til they got all them potions in em.

Wow, I jus realized I read Statuesque wrong. I am sticking with Sasquatch though. It is funnier to me that way.

On a more serious note,

Second move action to return behind the front line and 10' back to offer support. Stupid cowardly little midget gnome.

Human Dark Tapestry Oracle 15; Mythic Hierophant Tier 6; HP: 114/114

"THIS IS THE GREATEST DAY OF MY LIFE! I can finally observe the mating habits of Sasquatches first hand!"

Uh. No you can't. If the b!#$h tries to kill us, we are droppin it. We will find another one for ya to drool over later.

Stopping ten feet behind Derrik and MJ, Blake wheels around on a booted heel and looks to strike a side long pose extending his gun between the two big men and aligning his eye to the sight, while his other hand slides down to his belt holding his bullets. He stands, legs spread and his side facing the door and his head lulled to the side. The pose looks ridiculous and flamboyant, as if he were almost trying to show off. The only thing was, he became deathly still and his breathing became almost imperceptibly as he steadied himself for the attacker to appear.

Human Dark Tapestry Oracle 15; Mythic Hierophant Tier 6; HP: 114/114

"Daisy, there is NOTHING disgusting about the act of procreation! It's a beautiful thing among two consenting Sasquatches who want to bring another hairy life into this world."

Remembering something, he looks to his side.

"Um, not as if I'd even THINK of participating or anything, my love. You know you're the only woman for me." he smiles lovingly at the empty air beside him.

Marcus! Remember what we talked about. Focus!

He then mumbles annoyed through gritted teeth. He hated this part of the reminder.

And... I am sorry... Mrs. Greer... For yelling... again...

Knowing that without an apology, Marcus would be distracted by the imaginary nagging he would receive. That damned little quirk almost got the two of them killed more than once on the way to Pandora's Box.

Male Human Two-handed fighter 10/urban barbarian 9/cleric of Sif 1; Mythic Champion tier 10; hp 263

Finally, The Fierce Ones are complete! We've been looking for a crazy guy and a cross between Clint Eastwood and Papa Smurf for months now, right guys? HEHEHEHEHEEE!!

The two cultists move into the doorways of the offices and peer out, detaching and hurling the largest spheres from their necklaces at the Fierce Ones! The orbs arc over Derrik and MJ, landing 10 feet behind them to catch all of the Fierce Ones in their blast radius....

The 16 Morays surge around the corner at the east end of the hallway, coming into the Fierce Ones' lines of sight, AR-15s raised....

Double moves bring their front line (2 squares by 8) to about 10 ft from Derrik and Mikey J!

"Hot, s!$@!"

You know the drill. 38 fire damage.

Marcus looks over to see Marie screaming in terror as the flames ignite her.

He gets a crazed look on his face and looks at the Cultists who threw the Fireballs.

"You hurt her!" he screams

He points his finger at a spot between them.

"DIE!!!"

A large number of oily black tentacles springs up from the ground and starts grabbing at anyone within range, squeezing them if it catches them.

Grapple check: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (4) + 13 = 17
Damage (for anyone grappled):1d6 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5

Well that could be better. =/

Black Tentacles, CMD 23 to escape the Grapple. Entire 20 ft. radius is Difficult Terrain and anyone entering the area is attacked.

After casting he returns to a slightly more rational state and searches for something to hide behind. Like a desk or something. He's pretty low on HP. Or, actually, that one tunnel we initially came through might be good.

Wait, how high is the ceiling in this place?

M Human unchained monk 8/paladin 6

The ceiling is 15 ft high, and the FOs initially came up a stairway at the east end of the building, the route to which is now cut off by the enemies....

Marcus can duck into the southwest corner office, or back around the corner to the north at the west end of the hall....

The cultists shriek in alarm as black tentacles of magic slither and coil around their limbs and torsos, gripping them tightly!

The agile Morays of the cult nimbly evade the grasping, writhing tentacles, so far....

Male Human Monk 5 (Qinggong Master of Many Styles from the Sacred Mountain)/Fighter (Brawler) 3

He'll go around that corner, as long as he can make it in a single move action and lets him peek around into the action easily next turn.

The Professor turns his back to the blasts and drops to the floor, covering his necklace of fireballs as best as he can. The thing still isn't exhausted and remains a liability against such attacks as these.

"Demon humping harlots! You'll pay for that!"

He throws his remaining 4d6 bead from his own necklace, aiming for the two women.

Holy hell that hurt you stupid piece of trash!

Question for GM:
I am curious to ask. This is probably not RAI for the ability 'Utility Shot' but would I be able to delay a Rapid Shot action to 'Scoot Unattended object' as soon as they throw the beads from the necklace of fireball back at them? My arguement is, as soon as it leaves their hands, would it be considered an unattended object. I would be using a would take a full round action, plus 2 shots, and 2 grit. Hitting an AC of 11 for Fine objects each. Otherwise, my next action will be to rapid shot the hell out of one of the cthulu cultists.

Marcus feels cool healing energies wash over him, treating his nasty burns. He looks over to Marie, who stops burning when the healing touches her, and calms down somewhat.

He steps out from around his corner so he can see the cultists.

He gets a nasty look on his face as he looks at the cultists.

Stop, drop, and roll! he thinks to himself, as he readies a spell should one of them pluck another fireball from their necklace.

He grants himself the power of an undeniable command, that they will Drop whatever they are holding when he gives the order.

Command, DC 20.

"Come and get me!" he shouts across the room.

Grapple check: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (19) + 13 = 32 That's a 37 vs the cultists, the tentacles get a +5 to maintain a Grapple. Any Morays still in the area SHOULD be grappled right now, unless they have a ridonkulous CMD. CMD 23 to escape.

Damage: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5 And a further 5 damage to anyone grappled, including those grappled this round.
