A wizzing click echos away from Blake as he rolls the revolver's chamber across his leg before carefully leveling his pistol on the armed and "Armed" snake creature. The hammer pulls back on his revolver as Blake grins at the creature from behind the gun.

Clean will be using Deadly Aim (offering a -3 to hit) and spending 3 Grit for this round. Grit 1 to use "Deadeye" for increasing the range of hitting the touch AC resolution by 1 increment for his first shot (40' with a -2 to hit). Grit 2 to use "Up-Close and Deadly", adding 2d6 points of precision damage to his first shot. Grit 3 plus a full round action to use "Dead Shot" pooling all his potential (including Rapid Shot offering a -2 to hit) into a single shot.

Damage:

30 ft. away from you and Clean. So Clean shouldn't have needed to use his Grit for that, I think.

YAY! MESSAGEBOARDS ARE WORKING AGAIN! Anyway, on the range increment of advanced firearms games, I am not sure. I didn't think there was a difference and I am checking up on it now.

EDIT: Alrighty, so I have read through the firearms section (both firearms and the Modern Firearms pages on d20pfsrd.com) and you were correct:

Quote:

Advanced Firearms: Advanced firearms resolve their attacks against touch AC when the target is within the first five range increments, but this type of attack is not considered a touch attack for the purposes of feats such as Deadly Aim. At higher range increments, the attack resolves normally, including taking the normal cumulative –2 penalty for each full-range increment. Advanced firearms have a maximum range of 10 range increments.

That being said, I only use 2 grit for my previous action.

Infact, I would change my whole action knowing that my first 5 range increments still hit touch. I would do a normal rapid shot action rather than Deadeye and Dead shot. Oh well, too late. Unless the GM allows me to redack my last entry, It stands, 3 grit and all. I will have to pay closer attention to these things. ^_^ This is my first Gunslinger so it is a learning experience. :D

You may redact.... Nothing's been resolved yet, so I'm cool with a redo.... Keeping dice rolls already made in their chronological order, of course....

Flat-footed AC is 20....

Marcus cracks his knuckles.

"Let's take a look inside that noggin, shall we?"

Marcus very deliberately takes a wide stance, screws up his eyes, and puts two fingers to both of his temples.

If only I had a spoon to bend, this would be PERFECT.

He lashes out at the Asura with his mind, trying to rip through his brain with all the delicacy of a not very delicate thing.

9d4 ⇒ (4, 3, 3, 2, 4, 1, 4, 1, 3) = 25

He takes that much damage if he fails his Will save (DC 21), Su ability so Spell Resistance need not apply. If he had any useful Knowledge skills I could get something out of this as well, but all he has is Planes at a -1 to what I normally get. Unless you'd let me use it to try and get some more concrete info on what they're doing here.

Derrik rides the creature down until it crashes. Wrenching Dawnbringer from its corpse with a sickening "slerk" and flicks Excalibur to remove the infernal stain of blood from the blade; the auras upon both weapons fade. He leaps from the body back to the ground and stands steadfast both weapons at his sides and simply nods to the rest.

" If this is what they have gathered to stop us we don't have much time until they send more of those. Though we slayed it quickly, there is no telling what an army of them could do." Belittling the display he had just given with that observation. Giving a glance at Radsworth before searching the rest of the floor.

Yingzen and Mr Clean complete a quick but careful search of this open 7th floor, finding no other enemies, but discovering a few items of interest:

A large, brass-bound chest in the center of the floor has a stout lock, but a key lies atop a poster-sized map spread out on a desk at a nearby work station.

The poster-sized map spread out on the desktop shows the world, with points of interest marked by glowing red dots, perhaps made with some kind of phosphorescent or magically-glowing ink.... The Silver Tower is one such location, marked over the city of Sarasota on the SW coast of Florida.... As is the former location of Pandora's Box in the Everglades, marked as "Elder Sign base".... Several other locations are marked as well:
*R'lyeh, in the middle of the Pacific Ocean;
*The Silver Arch, marked over St Louis;
*The Verdigris Goddess Tower, marked over Manhattan;
*The Sundered Palace, in Washington DC;
*Mi-Go hive, in the Cascade Mountains;
*Hidden Derropolis, in the Catskills;
*Dunwitch, in Massachusetts;
*Arkham, also in Massachusetts;
*Innsmouth, also in Massachusetts;
*Deep Haven, off the coast of Innsmouth in the Atlantic Ocean.

Finally, the partially eaten body of a teenaged girl lies in a pool of fresh blood in the NW corner.... She appears to be covered in huge punctures consistent with the aghasura's fangs....

While the short one was proving himself deadly with a gun, he still had no real gauge of Marcus's power. He still considered them short-handed compared to where they stood just this morning.
