I'll report as soon as I hear back from Hun about the boon. Chronicles to come tonight.

![]() |

Chronicle looks good. Do you want us to edit in the day job cash and regular expenditure?

Dungeon Master S |

Yeah, I have always let you guys add in Day Job, especially in older season sheets. Feel free to roll here.

![]() |

day-job: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (20) + 8 = 28
I'll do her level up to 4 as well.

![]() |

Woo! Level 4!
Although I'm slammed at work for the next couple of weeks (14 hours today and counting...), so it may be a little bit before I get a chance to sit down and level up.

An email I received:

PbP Gameday IV: Siege of Serpents Rise - The End
Time flies when you’re having fun - and, as of now, PbP Gameday IV has come to an official end.
It went out with a bang with a hard fought Overwhelming Victory in the Special, Siege of Serpents. So congratulations to all those who took part in the special - it was a lot of fun to watch it all unfold.
We would like to thank all the GMs who worked super hard to make the entire gameday run remarkably well and markedly smoothly - you all did a terrific job, and we are very appreciative of all your amazing work. So huge round of applause for you all. (And an extra special thanks to those of you who covered extra tables when GMs had to drop - that was above and beyond and we thank you for that.)
We tried some new things this time, like the two slot schedule with the Serpents Rise Exclusive and Siege of Serpents Special, along with the usual “open gaming”. I think that went extremely well, but would love to hear back from you all to see what your thoughts are on that format.
And the open gaming had an amazing turnout this time - we’ve had a total of 227 tables for the gameday, with a few more waiting to be reported - so that is a great turnout. (Plus an overseas Viagra salesman who REALLY wanted to run The Many Fortunes of Grandmaster Torch for some reason - 18 times, in fact.) Some truly hilarious stories came out of the open tables, and I thoroughly enjoyed hearing those tales.
But enough of me babbling on about how terrific you all are - let’s get to prizes. :)

Dungeon Master S |

This party should totally have a name. After that color spray, things look grim for the enemies. I have a feeling I'll need to get the next one ready soon.
If anyone needs to drop though, don't feel pressure to stay. Meanwhile, what should your party's name be?

![]() |

"Thiera's Minions"?
Somehow I don't think that will gain wide acceptance...
"Hunconventional Tactics"?
Just, no...
"Bullwhips and Chained Huns"?
Awkward ...
"P.E.P.S" (Pointy Ears and PipSqueaks)?
... Closer, but not quite working for me ...
"Auri Gonna Pipe Her"?
Awkward ...
B.A.D. P.H.(a)T. (Bullwhip, Auri, Dupine, Piper, Hun, and Thiera) ?
P.H.A.B.(e)D.T. (Just say it as one word ...)
We really need more vowels. Anyone willing to change their name?
"Frozen Chosen"?
There we are ... something somewhat sensible.

![]() |

"Kellid Trading Company" - Auri's suggestion :-)

![]() |

Okay, I giggled at that one.

![]() |

I like the way you think Bullwhip!
What about the Break-Fist Club!? I can already see in my head who's character is who...
Claire Standish -Thiera
Andrew Clark - Dupine
John Bender - Hun (of course)
Brian Johnson - Pipes
Allison Reynolds - Auri
Mr Richard Vernon - Bullwhip
It's all so clear!

Now if only you could use generic pictures for an avatar...
Alisonuriferous

![]() |

Now I keep picturing Dupine as Bosley... thanks for that....
:)
I'll give a vote for Break-fist club...
If only we could get a black van with a red stripe...

Dungeon Master S |

Love me some A-Team
Sadly my desktop is currently down. (a Windows 10 update REALLY messed up my system. I need to format the drive and start fresh. Thankfully I have all my files.)
Despite my best efforts, my laptop makes really crappy chronicle sheets. I'll make one tomorrow by hand and scan it. It will have to say CORE on it instead of my customary stamp. Sorry guys!

![]() |

@GM: Out of curiosity, where did you get your "stamp"? I'd love to get my hands on a copy.
As for party names ... I could deal with "Break-Fist Club", but it's a but lacking in the arcane finesse that Piper, Auri, and, of course, yours truly can bring to the table. After Dupine's last display, I'm not sure it describes him either ... ;-)
I pity da fool who tries to cast the ladies in the party as "the reporter" (Amy or Tawnia) that follows A-Team around...

Dungeon Master S |

They never lasted.
The stamp was made by a local Venture-Captain. Once I have my desktop back I'm happy to send you the file.

![]() |

We interrupt these proceedings for the following paid advertisement.
So, I am not sure if everyone noticed, but Dupine ended up doing this trilogy for no credit (bad record-keeping on my part), so I am trying to pad him with some GM credits to keep him up to pace with the group.
As such, I need to GM another Tier 1-5 or 1-7 Core scenario while we play this next one. I was thinking Black Waters or Hydra's Fang Incident (because I have already double played or standard GM'd them, so am familiar with the material), but I am open to other scenarios as well. Is anyone interested? If so, let me know and what you prefer, and then I can go recruiting to fill any holes.

![]() |

I'd love to get that stamp too. I only one other other core character at the moment but could make a stumpy one if you need the credit.

Dungeon Master S |

Happy to share the stamp.
As for getting another Core game in. I'm happy to do either. I have a VERY fragile level 1 wizard (aren't they all?) I'm happy to play him in Hydra's Fang if you can get others.

![]() |

I've not played either of those in Core. Played both in Classic, and GMed Hydra in both.

![]() |

I have a Lv1 - 2/3 Female core cleric, Tanna Giantsmite available. You can find at her on my alias page... LMK.

Having said that I may not pump the credit into Dupine, I will still go ahead and GM the Hydra's Fang Incident (Core).
Check in here with your characters (and post a note so I know who is becoming whom), and then I will see if we need to go recruit more and at what level.
