Hello! Welcome to my table. Before we start, please do the following:
Please complete the macros linked at the top of the page. This will be used for initiative and secret rolls.
Please also post your token to the slides and post your position in the marching order. The slides are also linked at the top of the page.
As per the Organized Play Foundation Community Standards, each player must decide if they will allow their characters to be damaged by friendly fire (usually via splash damage). In keeping with the “Explore, Report, Cooperate” motto of the Pathfinder Society, engaging in non-consensual character-versus-character conflict is prohibited. While accidental friendly fire happens due to missed attack rolls or other factors, players must obtain the consent of other players before deliberately including fellow PCs in damaging effects. This rule does not apply in situations where a character is not acting of their own free will, such as if they’re being mind-controlled by an NPC and forced to attack a fellow Pathfinder.
You may select a consumable item from the Pathfinder Provisions list. These used to be the school items you get prior to starting an adventure. This applies to Scenarios only. Quests and bounties do not receive provisions.

Hello, all! I'm planning to play with Locus-22 (or just Locus for simplicity), my level 6 Witch {psychic}, but I can change to a level 3 Investigator if the table goes solidly low tier, or a level 5 magus if we really need melee.
Locus' PBP profile is grossly out of date, but I'll get that updated shortly.
I too am in Asia currently (Japan this month, Thailand in March, Indonesia and Australia in April), but being recently retired my posting reliability and schedule has much improved and stabilized.
I have neither played nor GMed this scenario, and I have no glyphs y
Locus will accept splash damage or other AOE effects. She's very logical in her outlook and sees it as a small sacrifice in pursuit of the larger goal.
et.
Provision: Scroll of Heal (rank 3). Note that she can cast heal, so if others want to take the scroll as their provision then hand it off to her, she'll use it on you if needed.

![]() |

I could uptier too, provided the quest Hancock is in ends in time.
Friendly fire: OK
Pathfinder Provisions: 2nd-rank scroll of dispel magic

![]() |

As it looks like we are leaning low tier, I'll bring Vamasu, my Tengu Swashbuckler 3.
Friendly fire: OK
Pathfinder Provisions: Scroll of Heal R2 (if we have someone who can cast it)
Glyphs: 2

Hi all! First of all, this is one of my formal evaluation games for 5 glyphs. So thanks in advance for being a part of this milestone.
Please complete the Macros/Slides/RPG Chronicles if you haven't already.
If you have any glyphs, please go ahead and share them.
Other than that, there's beer in the fridge, and chips in the bar. :)

![]() |

No glyphs here.

![]() |

Any idea what level or class your Evaluator will be bringing?
We're low tier even with my level 6, unless they bring a level 5 or 6 also.
I'd like to play Locus even though she's a level 6. But if the Evaluator is also brining a high-tier character, I'll switch down.
I know, "play what you want," but I don't want to pull three level 3's into the high tier just so I can do so.
As for provisions, either of the 2 characters I bring can cast heal.

![]() |

Checking in. I'll be using a replay for this.
Desmond is a 'medic'. I tend to play him more into positioning and covering for those who are hurt, and reflavor his strikes as pushes or something suitable non-lethal.
Also, he's got you covered in out of combat healing.

![]() |

My apologies but I've had a deadline sneak up on me and I'll have to pull out of this game. Hope you all have a great time and good luck GM Tiger!

Might be a rogue but I'm not sure.

Hi. Saw this listed on the outpost spreadsheet. Is there space available?
All the best for the run eitherway!

![]() |

sure. come on in!
Thank you! Will setup the info soon.
Have two glyphs.

![]() |

Traveling. will do macros etc. Saturday night. One glyph.

![]() |

And per RPGChronicles math, that takes us to 19 CP and into the high tier. I don't want to bring a 6 and do that to the 3's, so I'll switch out. I don't mind at all. In fact, it's a brand new level 5 (full Remaster rebuild) that I've never played before, so this will give me a chance to establish his personality as we go.
Although, his PBP profile isn't set up at all, but I'll have it done tomorrow morning Asia time, I promise.

Just waiting for:
Macros - Desmond Viiks
Slides - Desmond Viiks, Quinthalas

![]() |

ok, so with 3 glyphs between you, 3 will start with 2 hero points. who's starting with 2? :)

![]() |

I'll give mine to BK

![]() |

Noted!

Just waiting for:

Slides - Desmond Viiks, Quinthalas
I checked the slides. I'm done. Did I miss something?

Done!
Quin, the slides are the map, not the spreadsheet

apologies. I mistook you for someone else.
Banterknell is the one who hasn't posted his token yet.

![]() |

Done!

![]() |

Oh dear. I have played this scenario already and had forgotten, so I will need to bow out. Please remove Miss Sorbet from the campaign. My apologies for any inconvenience this causes.

![]() |

Do you want to recruit a 6th player after combat ends or continue with 5?

![]() |

5 is fine with me.

![]() |

Seems I did not dot gameplay, though I was sure I did. Playing catch up now...

![]() |

Sorry, realized I left off the DC for Red.
Each round that a creature starts its turn in the area, it must attempt a Reflex save VS DC 20.
On a failure, it takes a –10-foot circumstance penalty to its Speeds until it leaves the area, and on a critical failure, it's also immobilized for 1 round. Creatures can attempt to Escape to remove these effects.
Either way, all the area is difficult terrain.

![]() |

Ghardak, who you giving your glyphs to?
Banterknell and Desmond.

Singaporean accent? :)

![]() |

Singaporean accent? :)
Yeah.... busted. Someone's heard some Singlish. But there's a Lore reason. The Tian Xia World Guide renamed Amanandar to Linvarre. Linvarre is the Taldan enclave in Tian Xia, so already a little Singapore / Hong Kong.
Then on pg 132, they mention, "Once the children rise, the whole family enjoys breakfast while chatting in Taltien, Linvarre’s lively pidgin dialect that mixes words from both Taldane and Tien."
They then expound on it further on Pg 34:
The Taltien dialect has achieved a degree of international notoriety. Some denigrate it as a wild mix of Tien phrases shoddily translated into Taldane, or Taldane words squeezed into the confines of Tien grammatical structures. Linvarrans take great pride in their linguistic mashup, though, and local scholars have pushed for Taltien’s adoption as a global trade tongue, calling it the link between the two common trade languages in Tian Xia and Avistan. While one can rarely encounter an outsider fluent in Taltien, most foreigners can understand about 50 percent of a conversation if they strain their ears, and Linvarre’s immigrants generally pick the language up within six months to a year.
So they made Singlish canon!
But I don't want to just mix in "Tien phrases" which no one would be able to parse (plus I don't speak any IRL Asian languages to use as a base). So instead I'm trying to make it more like what I hear when 'Poerans speak English in that chopped, staccato style to each other but they aren't speaking full-on Singlish. I'll be refining it as I go, and if anyone has suggestions on how I can make the accent both understandable and distinctive, I'll listen.

![]() |

if I'm not mistaken, Ghardak is Singaporean... so he might be able to refine your Singlish :)
it's the "lah"s that gave it away... I wondered what you were saying earlier when Sorrina walked in... after I read the 'lah' it made more sense! :)

![]() |

GRRR... now I can't stop reading it with the sing-song cadence.. and laughing while doing so!!
Kinda hard to make it "understandable" in written form, since you can't replicate the cadence in writing. I spent 10 years in Boston, MA so until I saw the 'lah' I thought you were speaking in a Boston accent, which I recognized with "paht" :)

![]() |

hihi - gotcha. (Or I could write 555, which is how the Thais write "hahaha" in texts since the word for 5 is "ha.")
Desmond/Jhiang - you can only be in a Stance during encounter mode, though it's moot at this point :)
Oops. Right. First time playing him, and first time playing a stance-user. I assumed the encounter started as we moved into the room, but yeah, technically it doesn't start until Initiative is rolled. But just to clarify for our turn, do Desmond and Jhiang count as being in our stances, or do we need to use the actions again? Matters a lot for Jhiang cause he has to cast a spell before going into the stance.
if I'm not mistaken, Ghardak is Singaporean...
@Ghardak: True? I go thru SG a few times a year. Played a couple times at Bugis Bunker, but that's gone, and I can't seem to be able to find any in-person play now. Is there any? I'd love to jump into a game next time I'm there.

![]() |

There's another Singaporean here that I know of -- he's played with me (PbP) before, but I forget his name -- I mentioned him to Ghardak...

![]() |

Hah I can't remember either. There's a guy on the RPGGeek forums who plays a lot of different systems.
I think PF2E society hasn't taken off that much? D&D and other RPGs have though the price for some games (SG$30 which is about US$24-25) are too much for me.

![]() |

@GM: Did you want me to roll the Recall Knowledge?
Finally registering the screeching and sounds of combat from behind him, he turns his head to see what the others are fighting.
◆◆ Disable, ◆ RK re: the critters

![]() |

@GM Tiger, I will be off to Cebu for 4 days & 3 nights (departing this evening). While I will have access to internet, I will be painting the town red with my younger sister. I'll do my best to be online, but I may not be sober. :D

![]() |

ROTFL! Have fun!
We're near the end of the scenario anyway. If you'd like your downtimes part of your chronicles, go ahead and roll them to get that out of the way.

![]() |

@Rybar - if you have a botting spoiler for Quinthalas, please provide one.

![]() |

@Rybar: Have fun! Don't do anything I did my last few visits to Cebu. ;)
Umm.. what did you do? :)

![]() |

btw, if you'd like your downtimes part of your chronicles, go ahead and roll them now. This last part will go pretty quick if your dice rolls continue...
