My apologies for the demerit.

I simply forgot the "no spells" rule. I was originally going to do something else, but it just didn't seem like it was right, and then somehow in my mind I thought, hey it looks like they poisoned our guys, when I saw they felt dizzy after being attacked. I think that was the point where I forgot the "no spells" part of the rules and decided grease doesn't do anything lethal(as if that was the only rule), so I'll use that.

I could use the "it was late, no sleep, busy and distracted etc..." excuse, and it while that would be true, ultimately I really just simply forgot. I even had more than one person from the group contact me privately to let me know that I wasn't supposed to use spells. It was a mistake I won't make again.

So again, my apologies for the demerit.

As far as I'm concerned it's no problem. The demerit mechanic was put in place taking into account people might do things against the rules anyway. A single demerit is not THAT big of a deal, several are though.
Btw, by winning the battle you get a success, and Veres spell helps achieving that goal despite the demerit.

Just a quick update:

We are currently half way through the scenario and the deadline for this Game Day is the 17th of november. I want to try to speed things up so we can finish the game before the GD ends so I'd ask all of you to post more frequently if possible.
That said, I won't be avaiable for the whole of Nov the 2nd due to personal matters. I'll try to pick up the slack later.

Sorry I haven't been posting much this week! Between the site outages, some burnout from taking on way too many games for GameDay, and a cold, I've really been out of it. I'm going to try getting my posting back up to daily, if not more regularly, but there are a couple of things this weekend and next week.

This weekend I am going LARPing in the first time in months, but I won't have a computer to sit down at and my phone's battery is not the longest lasting. Next week, starting Wednesday, the busiest time of the year for work is going to start, while my evenings and early mornings are free, I might be too exhausted to get regular posts in. During both of these times, I'll try my best to get regular posts in but feel free to bot me as needed!
