Welcome everyone...I realize a few of you are currently finishing up games so we can shoot for a Tuesday start if that works for everyone. I may put the introduction up sooner than that so your characters can get to know one another.
This is a pretty straightforward scenario that we should move through fairly quickly. I like to have players post at least once each day. If we haven't heard from you in 24 hours I'll move the story forward...if we're in combat I'll GMPC your character; either taking swing, shooting an arrow, or hiding behind the tallest person! I'll make every effort not to utilize limited resources (like spells or wand charges) unless it's a life or death situation.
As soon as you can please post in the gameplay thread with the character you intend to use in this scenario. It's OK if you still have some shopping to do...just make sure your PFS number is somewhere in your stat block to prevent delays in reporting. (Or you can post your number in this thread.)

Hey, GM - thanks for taking this on, it sounds fun. Does anyone have any preferences on what character I bring to the table? In the low range, I've got a level 1 gnomish sylvan-blooded sorcerer and a level 2 human thunder and fang fighter, and I've got a couple of level 3 characters available if we wanted to play it up.

It looks like we have at least 3 melee and a ranged character, so some arcane or divine casting could be useful, though I am not sure how much balance is necessary in these scenarios. I am relatively new to this, and don't have a character above level 1 yet... (not new to gaming, just PFS)

That gnome sorc wouldn't happen to be named Langolain would it? And he wouldn't *just happen* to have a huge tiger animal companion named "Baby" would he? Cause if so I'm telling Venture Captain on you that you're copying my characters! :D
My guess would be to bring the sorc.

I'm with Cyrus and Marug on this one. If you don't mind playing the sorcerer in this scenario, that would probably round out the group nicely. But first and foremost, play whatever you think you will have the most fun with :)
By the way, the group effort for RP even on day one was impressive.

I second ibid, but I have a feeling it is going to get more interesting :)

If it makes you feel any better, Brox RedGloves, we've all hacked your laptop a couple of times, at least. You really need to update your community bestiary in herolab, by the way :)

GM Beman, just an fyi that I downloaded the ACG and the battle spirit ability is different than it was in the playtest and I'm supposed to change it as of today.
| GM Beman |
Using our current encounter as an example:
1. Marug, Grimbili, Nadra, Cyrus, Magrim
2. Creature
3. Ibid
I separate combat into three groups…those who take their turns before the bad guy(s), the bad guys, and those who take their turns after the bad guy(s). Looking at our current encounter everybody except Ibid acts before the opponent. Anyone in that group may act in any order; so if Cyrus checks in before Marug does Cyrus can still post his action and not have to worry about checking back in later. Once everyone in group 1 posts then the creature will act. After that those in Group 3 and Group 1 may act before the monster goes again.
It takes a bit of getting used to but it does make things go much more smoothly. I'll start calling out who needs to post an action until we get the hang of it.

GM Beman, are you OK with me posting my action out of turn, so that it is posted and you are not waiting for me? My intention was just to get my action visible so that once you posted the monster's turn, you could resolve my (hopeful) attack immediately.

I personally really like this way of doing it. That adds zero value to a non-existent conversation. Just wanted to chuck my 2 coppers out there.
**Edit** I also love posting the same time the GM is online.

I saw Ibid going earlier and thought it was ok to go...I'll just wait for the "say so" (GM resolution) to go :D

I moved your token Nadra, thanks for moving mine the other day :)

…and here is the Chronicle Sheet. Thanks for playing and I hope to see you out there again!

Thanks GM Beman! Sorry to see it end so soon--we had an interesting cast of characters.

Yes, thank you, GM Beman. That was a lot of fun. I cannot believe this game is over so soon. Thanks so much for running it.

I echo the thoughts, thanks GM Beman!
Edit: I agree Magrim, I would love to be able to do some more with this group! The Roleplaying was fun and everyone's personalities were fun to play off on.

I know that I would love to run more scenarios with this group, it was a lot of fun. And, I definitely enjoyed your DMing style, GM Beman. If you ever think you'd be up for running some season 6 scenarios, I'd be willing to pay for/gift the scanarios to you (so long as we can get the old band back together for a reunion, i.e. the adventuring party)
:)

I'll chip in for season 6 scenarios! That would be amazing to make this a sort of regular group and go through a bunch of scenarios together. I am itching to get this character to a higher level...
