Sorry, on a road trip through Monday, limited access.
Mr. p uses as many charges from wand of clw as needed to get fully healed.
Also, for future reference, his aura of courage gives +4 morale vs fear to all allies within 10

![]() |

Oops, cut and paste error. It should have been a d6 for damage. Always fun to crit with a big shocking grasp though.
Bauble pokes at the remains of the devilish creature, while looking around to see if another one pops into existence.
"Sad giant take nap."
Bauble wonders if there is a bed near by they could put the giant in. Normally he would not even think about such a thing, but he's pretty sure the big dinosaur could manage.
"Maybe put giant in bed?"

![]() |

Wand charges to heal Mr. P:

CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7
CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7
CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6

![]() |

Once Jothas finishes running around in a panic, he will find someone to use his wand of infernal healing on himself (without the paladin looking) to heal up after that nasty hit from the giant.

![]() |

"Bauble has wand JUST like that!"
Bauble displays a wand with some warty hide on the handle. You notice that all 4 of his wands have different handles. It's hard to say whether it's because he is just odd, or whether it serves a purpose. After he puts it back he adds,
"Bauble heal you!"

GM_Starson |

Hammerhand looks over the great cloud pillar, and while the exact method is beyond him, he figures that somehow, magic probably, the pillar of clouds which seems to pass at a touch is holding up the whole flying castle. Seeing the ice crystals of the ice devil, it's easy enough to figure that the thing was probably freezing the cloud solid, then snapping it to pieces.

![]() |

Given Naghamadi's two previous Knowledge (Planes) rolls, does he have any insight into what they might have been trying to do, and why?

![]() |

[ooc]And is there repair that need to be done, or should we move on? After examining the bodies of course. Speaking of which...[/b]
Bauble casts detect magic and takes a look around, particularly the remains of their opponents, but also the whole cloud thing.
Spellcraft: 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (3) + 20 = 23

GM_Starson |

Naghamadi looks over the cloud thing, as does bauble, and determines that it is self repairing as well. It's really rather impressive. Looks like they where trying to bring down the whole castle and just didn't pull it off.
Bauble detects some very strong magic from the pillar, no surprise there. But the giant doesn't even carry so much as a magic trinket on him, just his massive axe.

GM_Starson |

Anybody wanna do anything about that frost giant you knocked out? Or just move on and hope for the best? I'll move along when you guys are ready.

![]() |

What Bauble wants to do and what Bauble can do are two different things. As I said, he would prefer to put him to bed and tuck him in.

![]() |

Clandelve looks at Jothas skeptically as he ties the giant up.
"'at rope's nae likely tae hold heem, an' e'en if it did, it's better tae put an end tae his evil," the dwarf says.

![]() |

Does the giant weigh more than 1,150 lbs.? If not, Lucija will dismount Naghamadi while Naghamadi resolves this quandary by dragging/pushing the giant off the edge of the cloud.

![]() |

Mr. P reacts with shock to Lucija’s suggestion. ”That healing magic you used has clearly affected you! May the blessings of Chaldira be with you. Of course you understand that I cannot countenance any evil act against a fallen prisoner, and especially one such as this who appears to be under some form of mental control. We must help him! But for now, let us be sure that he is stable and tied up, and make haste to the main hall, where the Wizard giant we seek is under attack!”
Heal check to determine if the giant is stable: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (1) - 1 = 0

![]() |

Problem there, Proudefeets: She hasn't SAID anything. I was asking the DM a question, and if the answer were going to be yes, Naghamadi - NOT Lucija - was going to do it without any further ado or consultation.

GM_Starson |

Sir Mr. Proudefeets determines that the giant is alive, well, but is actually a gnome suffering from a extreme form of giantism and frostbite.
As far as weight, it probably actually does weight more than that honestly. PFSRD has them weighing around 2,800 pounds on average. And that's not including arms and armor. O.o

GM_Starson |

Assuming everybody is okay with moving on...
The team makes their way quickly back upstairs, heading for the central hall. This vast chamber of white stone feels like a cavern. Surrounded by a colonnade and an upper gallery, a massive sculpture dominates the room. It appears to be the head and upper torso of a man with an arm raised above his head, palm held aloft. This sculpture is forty feet high and sixty feet long. A giant, eighteen feet tall himself, in white and blue robes with a long white beard and a silver circlet, stands on the sculpture’s palm casting spells down upon invading giants; the enemy giants are throwing boulders at him or attempting to climb the stone figure to get at him. A few giants already lie dead upon the tiled marble floor. Nearest to the entrance to this hall is a female giant in plate armor harness riding a three-horned beast with a bony crest atop its head. Its horns and feet are shod in spiked iron, and chain barding drapes across its bulging body.
The Female giant sees the team and calls out in giant...

Sadly, vermin's blast of attacks don't do much damage against the resistant evil being!
Note that Vermin has Celestial Wild Shape and can and would have smited the devil. Not sure it still matters. Catching up.

A note about the Cloud Giant - Vermin would protect him if necessary and notes that if the Cloud Giant was on the enemy's side there would have been no reason for the devil to possess him. Plus killing an ally of the wizard we want a favor from is very bad form. tying up is fine.

Wait; did we even have any reason to think the frost giant (not cloud giant) was one of the Cloud Giant's allies? We've just been fighting giants so far, all of them have been hostile. I'd forgotten that seeking an audience with one was even our objective.
Lucija shields herself with a potent personal ward, then Naghamadi advances and takes a snap with his second set of jaws at the nearest giant.

The giant howls as he's whipped and cowed by Bate's attack. Unfortunately, his flailing causes Naghamadi to miss with his bite.
Two of the giants grip the base of the statue and start to try and climb up to the cloud giant standing on top it. They get part way up, about 20 feet, but can't travel any further just yet.
The mountain warrior begins riding around the statue, holding a massive greatsword loosely in her hand. She seems to be biding her time, waiting for a moment before picking up a huge stone from a pack on the side of her triceratops, aiming at Lucija, and hurling it with the speed of a bullet!
Stone: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (6) + 10 = 16
damage: 1d8 + 13 ⇒ (3) + 13 = 16
Naghamadi neatly flicks his body to remove Lucija from the line of fire however.
Meanwhile, the Cloud giant standing on the top of the statue glowers at the ones climbing around. You notice that he has several cats perched on his shoulders and climbing about his feet and hissing at the climbing giants.
YOU SHALL PAY FOR THIS IMPERTANACE!

Sorry, prepping for a trip, won't really have a chance to engage until I get to the airport tomorrow
For round 1 Mr. P will (swift) pop out his wand of saddle surge and (standard) cast it and (move) detect evil on the big bad looking mounted lady.
For round 1 Griff will (double move) fly into the room at the highest possible altitude (i.e. how ever high the door is) and then continue into the room climbing as high as possible (at a 45 degree angle so no fly check needed), being sure to remain out of the reach of any of the foes.
I'll update their position on the map when I get a chance

Sparky feasts upon the pink giant, slamming him to the ground as he rips and tears.

The other giants begin swiftly climbing up the statue, trying to get at the cloud giant, but it's slow work just due to the task of climbing, each only making it about halfway up the statue.

The triceratops riding giant scowls as her allies are summarily stopped by the magic flowing about. She aims her weapon at the giant dinosaur and commands her mount to charge forth, right over bauble!
Bauble, this is a weird rules situation, so I'm going to treat this as a "Accidental" trample. You can either take a AOO at -4 penalty, or reflex save DC 21. Don't hurt the confused saurian. Vermin asks the group in general and sends Sparky to play with giants. He is willing to risk another attack from the beast to try to calm it down. There there. was the bad giant mean to you? he coos.

Mr. P
While the rest of the team sets about slaughtering giants, Vermin coos to the enraged dino. Unfortunately, it's going to take a minute to calm the beast down... literally.
Vermin, you don't have fast empathy, and the beast is raging cause you killed it's owner. Unlike Farkas, you don't have the benefit of waking it up with food and being careful, so I'm going to need either some way for you to restrain it or someway your going to survive 10 rounds of it attacking you.
Everybody else, I'm not gonna waste your time making you individually pick off sickened and slowed giants... unless anyone objects to slaughtering the lot of them while they lose their lunch?
PATHFINDERS... WIN?

I see. Was hoping that after its "master" died it would revert to a normal animal and not be compelled to keep fighting. Then again my current form is its natural enemy. lol. I think go ahead do a single attack on Vermin, which might drop him and settle it. That happens even before Vermin gets one round to act. He is getting low on spells. If it hits him and takes him below Sparky will move in to try to put the creature down, hopefully with enough non=lethal to prevent its death.

GM_Starson |

Yeah, it's still a normal animal, it's not an animal companion made evil or something, just a well trained combat pet.
The beast tries to attack Vermin again...
gore: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (15) + 17 = 32
damage: 2d10 + 12 ⇒ (5, 9) + 12 = 26
and does so, hurting him pretty badly.

As I suspected that puts Vermin down at -2 and removes him from the decision tree on what to do with the big lizard. He. Ever even got to try to calm the big fella. Sparky should come and defend him on his next turn. Happy to handwave the combat from this point. Can’t post combat till later tonight.

When Mr. P sees the Triceratops knock Vermin unconscious, he wheels and charges it, first swiftly laying hands on himself.
