I can cast haste, if that's any help (I already did once, I'm not sure how many rounds it's effectively been).

![]() |

I think Haste would effectively cut a minute off the 10 minute travel time.

![]() |

@Jothas and Clandelve, you should both still be hasted, from when last I cast it. Mr. Proudfeets and Bauble weren't close enough, but you both were!

![]() |

I thought Bauble was hasted too.

![]() |

I don't think so. Check Slide #8; you were out of range.
@GM: Are Fly checks necessary to just make 5-foot "steps?"
Also: I didn't somehow hear that this giantess was Undead, did I?

See this post and a few after that. I've been operating under the effects of haste since that point. If I was mistaken, then Bauble has been moving and striking too fast for a while now.

GM_Starson |

@Lucija, No, she's using the power of the undead, but isn't undead herself.
@Bauble, I think it's fair to say you where within range. If it had been more clear what was going on at the time I'm sure you would have moved into range to get the benefit before final battle craziness happened. Stuff that would have been cleared up at table, so I won't hold it against you.

BOSS DEFEATED BY AN AMAZING CRIT! JUMPING JEHOSHAPHAT!
Just got to close that portal and you guys will have completed the adventure! Come on guys, you got this!

With the inevitable retirement of PF I, I've changed my mind about taking slow progression. Give Bauble full XP.

GM_Starson |

Congratulations everyone. If you have any questions about the adventure, let me know! My hope is to have the chronicle sheets posted up tonight. Let me know if I make any mistakes when their up!

First, thanks for the run. It was quite fun and we had a great group.
Second, how do I download or print the chronicle?

GM_Starson |

The easiest way (Sorry, I normally use Drive but don't have access at the moment.) is to right click on your chronicle and select "Print Picture" to print it, or "Save as" to save it directly.

OK. I got it. It looks like a picture of a picture but I can read it. thanks.

Interesting epilogue! It sounds like we could have made a very different choice...but what would it have been, and what would the consequences of that have looked like?
Also, what exactly was that necro-goop the giantess was standing in, and what was she doing with it?

![]() |

Many thanks. Got my chronicle with no difficulty. A very fun adventure - thanks for running!

GM_Starson |

No problem!
There is definitely a big other choice that can happen... a different party can talk the storm queen down from her path of revenge, convincing her to give the wizard giant one last chance. This goes... badly, as he is actually possessed and controlled by the cats, and reacts violently to her presence, summoning "Layered Golems" to fight you (A iron golem INSIDE of a stone golem, so when you kill the stone golem, the iron golem immediately pops out and attacks you) all while he tosses spells at you and keeps the storm queen from helping you while his cats transform into dire tigers and harry you and the storm queen.
If you SOMEHOW manage to play couples counselor, defeat the golems, AND kill the cats (Without killing him), you can get a sort of "Perfect ending happily ever after"... but the chances are weighed VERY heavily that either one or the other of the two dies at some point, and your not suppose to feel TO bad about it cause their kinda both... not good people.
The necrogoop was the souls of the pale ones. It gave her +4 deflection to AC, SR 22, and natural attacks forced a fort save of 20 or take 1d4 CON damage! She also could blast someone with it and if they failed their will, they become possessed inflicting the confusion status on them that doesn't end until they take a standard action to beat the will save.
Her plan was basically to use the stuff to continually amp herself up, rip open the tear wider and wider, and then accept the pale ones directly into her soul to give her insane power, and then trash the castle and show the giant wizard who's boss.

Mr. P was on the right track then. Too little too late I guess.
