I think I would like 'Pathfinder Tatics' sort of game.

Not every time of course but it sounds interesting to do at least once.

Silver Crusade

I think if you know what's coming, that's true. The two things I'd advise if you're going to try it:

- Before playing Assault on the wound, play some of the Season 5 scenarios that provide boons related to the special armies you can play, they're more interesting and more powerful

- Bring a high-Charisma character, as it contributes directly to your army's attack rolls

Male Aasimar DEAD

Well, I have played *all* of the previous scenarios, and Nix has a fairly decent Charisma modifier :-)

Grand Lodge

It's been fun even though this was a bit of an unusual scenario, thanks for running GM.

No problem. Thanks t everyone for playing. Right now, I'm running 3 other games, so I am honestly going to take a small break and finish them up before I start anything new.

As for Assault, I don't know. I have it, but I am really not sure if it will work as a PbP. I'll think about it. I'll probably be making this inactive tomorrow unless anyone has any issues or questions.

Oh, actually, one thing I usually do that I forgot.

Does anyone have any suggestions/tips/criticisms/etc. . .? Not really looking for pats on the back as much as ways to improve GMing. I sort of started PbPs from scratch while I was deployed, and so I sort of learned everything by experimentation, but always open to new ideas. Feel free to PM me or open the table here.

:)

DMB - I have played Assault on the Wound, and I have my doubts about it working well as a PbP. For one thing, the mass combat part is so dependent on the map and counting hexes and piling multiple units into hexes, it seems like it would be a pain to do the mapping of. But it may also be that I thought it was a strange scenario (being mostly a board game), and that's affecting my view of it.

On your DM'ing approach - one thing I'd appreciate is keeping the meta-analysis of the scenario in the OOC thread a bit more. I recognize this scenario raised a number of meta issues for you, and you wanted to communicate them to us so you'd understand what you were wrestling with, and I think it's good you did so. But it would be great to minimize how much of that gets discussed in the gameplay thread. It's a minor thing, and perhaps just my thing, but I thought I'd mention it.

Having played in several of your scenarios, my feedback is that you do a really great job as DM. You keep things moving at a nice pace, have a nice writing style, and keep things interesting.

For this scenario, I think the analysis at the beginning might have been kept "under the hood" a little more, since I ended up really liking the scenario and liked the twist at the end where we went from investigators to accused.

You do a fantastic job, though.

Anyway, only other thing is that my faction was reported incorrectly because of the errors that affected this and the other scenario. Saarai has since had her faction changed back to what it should be (Sczarni). Oh, and a new avatar.

EDIT: NEVERMIND...YOU ALREADY FIXED IT!!! THANKS AGAIN!!!!!

Grand Lodge

Male Aasimar DEAD

I was happy enough with it :-)

Now that we are finished, though, could you please change this thread to 'inactive' (it is an option on the 'Campaign Info' page, when editing).

I didn't comment before because well...I didn't have any comments, and I still don't :)

As far as I can tell, you did a good job. So thanks for running ;)
