Felix taps Janira's shoulder with her wand a few times. As he does so, her stomach becomes hazy and blurred. After the third time, the fog clears and her stomach is smooth and unmarred once again! Janira sits up with a start. " Let us remember the sacrifice of the fabled Yasmin bint Faroud... wait... where did he go?"

She looks around the group with shock on her face. " What?! You chased off a minotaur by yourselves? To save me?" A single tear of gratitude falls down her face. "Truly, it takes an enormous amount of Cooperation to take on a minotaur! As you can see, trying it alone was not a good idea... "

If I've been keeping track correctly, there should be no more charges in Janira's wand, and two Cure Light Wounds potions for our nearly-unconscious members.

After you all take some time to recover and heal, she regains her strength and natural exuberance. " So, I see that you have Cooperated, how about explore? Did you find anything interesting in the caves? Did you learn of their importance, and why the gillmen visit every month?"

One, actually -- I drank one after the undead encounter. I have a CLW wand but would need one of the casters to use it on me.

To make things easier, Takega roll your own heals with charges from your wand as if Janira cast it on you. Sirius, you get the potion and can roll it for yourself. That should get everyone to an acceptable health level.

Assuming everyone is ready to go, she leads the expedition back to Absalom without further incident. Once safely back in the Grand Lodge, Master of Scrolls Kreighton Shaine inquires excitedly about what you found and asks to see your notes. "Well done, Pathfinders! These are beautiful notes. Truly, you will make fine agents!" He pauses and thinks for a moment. "It’s difficult enough to remember what one had for breakfast the day before as it is to recall exactly what one was thinking while studying an inscription! " He turns to your guide. " Well done, Janira! Thank you for getting the recruits in and out safely. You were quite brave to take on the minotaur alone. But. Remember. Next time, cooperate and your Pathfinders will not fail you! "

Three days later he confirms you as a full Pathfinder field agent. As part of the ceremony, your mentor also gives a personalized wayfinder to you, reminding you that this is not only the symbol of the Pathfinder’s trade but also a reminder of the three principle duties: explore, report, and cooperate.

Hanzo takes the inscribed wayfinder, the fox in his arms.
Unused, or unable anymore, to saying words of thanks, Hanzo just nods.

He then puts it between its paws. It blinks at the shiny object, and curls up, relaxing, looking at everything and everyone around it.

The minotaur fight went various ways, during the several times i ran it. For good and worse.

The first time I was in a group that ran this scenario it went badly for Janira. We sprinted to her to assist with the minotaur fight from the start. She didn't survive.....

same here, Sirius, more survivals than deaths.

YStrizz takes his wayfinder paying one pp for it since I've already had a character get the free one and rolls it over and over between his fingers. "This is a very fine item... and my initials in it too! The society is generous indeed. I look forward to my next mission!"

Strategy question. Why pay 1 pp for the Wayfinder? Is it useful in that many sitiations?

they are like a badge of identification... and it is sometimes handy to have a small light source.

That and the ability to slot ioun stones in wayfinders to gain resonant powers beyond the base power of the ioun stone.

That and the special wayfinder enhancements. For example protection from evil or guidance, or detect magic. Absolutely a must for alchemists and investigators!
