She sets up an aligned stike than stops and readjusts. In doing so she grimaces, as she heard her mothers voice in her head. frowning she swings at the biggest one.

With a strange shift from a side swipe or over head she shifts to a side inline and lounges with the butt seeking to slam inot her opponents body instead of letting the teeth bite deep.

Alzura makes a third strike, knocking her opponent into submission at last; he slides to the ground. She's so absorbed in the fury she tries to punch him again on the way do, but her attack is off-balance and she misses.

Meanwhile, Joyride makes several flourishes with his baton, but can't get a good opportunity to strike, so he holds the blow for the right moment.

Cherry manages to catch her opponent off-guard, and so manages to graze the thug even with her less than optimal attack angle. He moves back in pain, keenly aware that could have been a serious injury had Cherry chosen.

Vaëlorin stepped through the haze and echo of shouting boots against steel decking, one hand still tucked calmly behind his back. His gaze swept the hangar floor, taking in the flurry of fists, one-liners, and the sudden revelation that Cherry could indeed fight in a dress.

"Ah yes," he said aloud, to no one in particular, "the elegance of diplomacy… reduced to theatrical stomping in a cargo barn."

He drew his azimuth laser pistol with slow, deliberate care, the hum of its capacitor rising like a warning note in a symphony no one else could hear.

"To the rest of you," he called out dryly as he sighted in on one of the unengaged ruffians, "I suggest reconsidering your employment. You are about to be bested by a librarian."

Cherry tries another form, getting frustrated her training wasn't paying off. thankfully her mother wasn't around or she would never here the end of it. Cherry you spent too much time in those manuals and not enough in the combat simulator or Cherry the Doshko is Damitosh's gift to the Vesk, not those...those fangled computer schematics. Study combat not computers!

So with that in her head she tries a daring maneuver that would expose her stomach. Still it hopefully should work, she shifted and swung low, the fool as the teeth weren't aligned for a strike. Instead at the last minute she pivots with a half faint and uses the teeth as a saw to cut through instead of bite in.

Vaëlorin holstered his pistol slowly, as if any sudden movement might dislodge what was left of his internal equilibrium. He exhaled sharply, wincing as he touched his side.

He looked up, eyes narrowing as he watched Clarissa begin triage on the fallen thugs.

"Thank you for seeing to the orc-man, Clarissa. But if the Captain has no objections, I might request a stitch or two next. Unless we are saving medical attention for those who initiated the combat in formal attire."

His tone stayed even, but the sarcasm shimmered like heat off a desert hull.

"In any case," he added, casting a glance at the crumpled form of Dalbak, "if these were truly agents of the Malthar, I suspect our next job will not involve luxury drinks and live jazz."

"Next time," he said, mostly to himself, "I am bringing the heavy shielding... and eating gloves."

Cherry found two lasers and one slug-thrower pistol. The lasers are similar enough to the ones you have. The slug-thrower I don't have the stats on with me, but I'll post them later.

At this point, Clarissa has stabilized all the opponents who had serious injuries from the combat. They'll be out for a while. The other three, however, will regain consciousness in the next quarter-hour or so.
