I think I gotta set things up here, too, so BEN, POST HERE!

Hello!

Dark Archive

Pathfinder Lost Omens, Rulebook Subscriber

I'm still figuring this out, so I'll try to get y'all added ASAP.

This is also a test

Shadow Lodge

And also here. Cadfael says BARK!

Time to come up with a character and really step up the roleplaying game.

Hecks yeah!

Chaotic Good follower of Iomedae and a half-fiend inquisitor of Iomedae. Not what I expected!

We're a couple of oddballs. In fact, WE'RE LOOSE CANNONS, DAMMIT!

But yeah, a good part of the "here's your mission" text will be the boss-man openly giving us flak for being so doctrinally unorthodox.

Is this thing on?

"Hello one two, one two."

You know I don't think it's switched on.

Is this your way of asking to play, Golden Goblin?

Cheapy, BTW, Torag's a legitimate choice for a god in this one. I'd LIKE everyone to be an Iomedaean, but I could see some interfaith collab going on. After all, who better to rebuild the old fort into an abbey than kickass dwarven stonemasons?

May i join too?

We're rebuilding an abbey? I thought this was a murder mystery!

...or could it be both?!

Shadow Lodge RPG Superstar 2010 Top 8

Yeah, I thought the Abbey had been around for a while?

Unfortunately, I don't think I can join right now. Not enough time. I'll be watching though!

Awesome pumpkin though Ben, if that was yours!

The Yeti? Indeed it was, thanks!

I had a pumpkin, but my girlfriend cooked it with grounded meat, japanese style. Delicious.

Alright, alright, y'all are in. That'll be a full load of dudes for me, though, so no more!

20-point buy, all Pathfinder books are legal. Sounds like the group's gonna be wacky-shack, so I'm moving it back to Windsong Abbey. So it's no longer limited to Iomedae-worshipers. I'll write some suggestions for other gods.

Remember, Windsong Abbey is an interfaith sanctuary, so pretty much all of the Big 21 Gods are there (some supposedly took off after the death of Aroden, but I've nver gotten a list on which ones, so we'll say all 21 major faiths are in play).

Yeah! Perhaps i could test out this fellow here. Have to reset it from 25 to 20 points.

Else i´m always prone to playing a ninja, perhaps a sylph.
Something Red Sonja like could be fun too (reading too much comics lately on my phone.) Or if its Akiton, Dejah Thoris^^

Shadow Lodge RPG Superstar 2010 Top 8

Ooh, play a sylph! They're awesome!

Ok, then i´ll come up with a sylph charakter. I love their tacial feats that let them fly later!

What´s the starting level?

Shadow Lodge RPG Superstar 2010 Top 8

3rd, I believe?

Nice. I´m playing with herolab and Sylphs.

Thought of adding a level of elemental sorcerer for obscuring mist mainly. Wand of obscuring mist might do it as well. Then only need the cloudgazer feat. Gang-up might come in handy too or improved dirty trick. But a sylph magus might be cool as well.

Here i am...da da da daaaaa.

Only i can´t find a sylph avatar somehow.

And i found out that it works better with Ifriit somehow.
Firesight racial feat and smokebombs work directly together, as well as you can use a wand of obscuring mist with a smoke stick as spellfocus to create a smoke area. Tis kinda like Avatar, fire ninjas and water ninjas.

You know, this is the reason why i realy don´t like minor and major rogue magic. 2 feats to have a level 1 spell twice a day is just too much feat investment for not enough magic. Would be so cool to have a way to get a spell like vanish, obscuring mist or perhaps obscuring smoke easier.

There you have this already person gleaming person, silent and stealthy, who likes to listen to other personal stuff secretly, but when you face her and she doesn´t want it or she get´s angry, suddenly there is a mist coming up, obscuring sight and she is gone...

Perhaps mythic rules gives some oportunity there^^

We'll see on the Mythic side of things. I don't really know how powerful the low-end Mythic stuff can get (we'll be Mythic Tier 1, or however that gets written). I'm sure at higher Mythic tiers, bopping into Inviso-Town is probably well within the power range.

Only one day...

It's OUT! Make the action happen, Jackson(s)!

I think I'll hold off on Caedvel for this playtest, since there's like a bajillion of us now. I might have him come down and y'all can come to him if you're stumped. But I don't wanna run him, all the other NPCs, and everything else at the same time.

In the meanwhile...

Ben, I assume you hit Mythic during the Goblinblood Wars ("ten by ten goblins did fall to mighty thews and streams of arrows as if from a machine of death," they say). Same with Caedvel and the Worldwound. Everyone else, let's figure out how you became Mythic and why.

There was this old guy, a mysterious master of some sort of sneakery. While i was still wondering if i should turn to magic or shiftieness and furtiveness to express my frequent tempers better, he took me in. As his apprentice he taught me how to fight defensively, to fight the unseen, to rely on my finesse with a scimitar and how to use poison. Also the way of stealth and how to make the most out of it, in and out of combat.
But then he died of old age. I couldn´t even judge how old he was and he wouldn´t tell me, but he must have been really old, much older than anyone would have guessed. Shortly before he died he called me to him, telling me about some mystic power he inherited from a master a long, long time ago and that in fact he was a member of a secret society and he would now pass this power onto me before he was dieying. And so he did. He didn´t leave much behind but me. Some accessoirs i couldn´t make of much yet and some scrolls i couldnt even remotely read, as well as some coin. So i went out again, searching for my way and place in the world.

Which mythic tier do we start? 1? Just went over the stuff, tier one means you pick a type, get that abilities and one mythic feat? Gueyy i would go trickster.

Any livesigns on this?

Holidays sort of locked everyone down, but we should be getting rolling soon.

The year is 50 BC. Gaul is entirely occupied by the Romans. Well, not entirely... One small village of indomitable Gauls still holds out against the invaders. And life is not easy for the Roman legionaries who garrrison the fortified camps of Totorum, Aquarium, Laudanum and Compendium.....
