As Biltri moves to the lower levels, Calvos the bard seems a bit startled by the phantom. "Agh! What the hell? Shoo!", he stops playing and attempts to scare Biltri away with an outward hand motion.
Meanwhile, at the warehouse floor level, Eadric and Helme combine their efforts to take down the monk (green). Under the onslaught of Eadric's punches and Helme's spear, the man collapses to the floor, overwhelmed.
The man in the chainmail decides to repeat his previous action, and grasps his deity's symbol again.

Ssresrandu swings at the man in the chainmail. Sweetsong makes some distance while he does so. The swing misses, unfortunately.
Calvos takes a step back, reaches into his pouch and produces a feather and some fruits. He looks at Biltri with a malicious grin. "Fine. If you won't leave, let me tell you a joke, hmm?"
He snaps the feather in half, and slams the fruit againts the ground, then performs a quick incantation, and points to Biltri, still smiling.

"Woah! Stop with the negative vibes, Bro!" Eadric reaches around and attempts to grab the mans collar so that he can pull him head first into the door frame.

Guess I'll do Raman.

Raman jumps to the lower level, wielding his maulaxe. The mercenary notices and swings morningstar. Fortunately for Raman, he misses. To counter, Raman takes a swing at the chainmail-clad man and gets him bad. With a combination of Eadric's punch and Raman's maulaxe hit, the man collapses to the ground.

Biltri takes a few swings at Calvos the bard, but misses both swipes. With the cleric out of the fight, and his plan to make a spirit laugh failed, Calvos seems a bit concerned about the preservation of arts in the city of Diobel.

Right. Well, let's say that Ssresrandu delays for now to move things forward.
Calvos sees that the situation is dire. He takes a step away from Biltri, and pulls out a block of butter from his pouch. He chants as the butter melts and disappears.
His skin becomes oily and slippery, and he speaks out: "Ladies, gentlemen - are you considering this a fight to the death or do I have other options? Surely, it would be a blow to Diobel's musical scene if I were to disappear without trace. Perhaps we can arrange some alternative resolution to our current plight?", he bargains.
Eadric Brightcoat |
"There's always options, Bro!" Eadric says as he rushes down the stairs, "We don't need to kill you, we just, like, don't want you to spread your drugs all over Golarion..." He continues, as he runs around the crates and stops behind the singer, "Surrender, and we have totally nice cage for you to wait out the evening in. Think of it as, like, a time to think about your life choices and stuff." Eadric looms over the man with a big toothless smile.
In the meantime, Raman hustles up to block the singer's exit.
Double moves for both Eadric and Raman
Mori Gimhargruest |
"No, we don't need to kill you," Mori calls down from the upper landing. "Just let your bosses know that the Kortos consortia doesn't want any part of your drug operation anymore."

"Is this- What? Why not use the regular channels to let us know? Why just ambush our patrol like that?"
Calvos seems confused, and lifts an index finger to counter Mori. But he reminds himself why are you talking to begin with and stops before he even starts. "Beggars can't be choosers, I suppose. Alright where's this cage of yours?"
Helme |
"The plan works for me. Let's lock him up. What regular channels are you talking about?" Helme asks as the man steps into the cage.
Mori Gimhargruest |
"You should be free in time to clean before dinner," Mori assumes.
Helme |
"Works for us. We'll talk to our higher ups."
GM NotEspi |
The party covers up the cage, despite Calvos' protests against it. The man continues to play his flute in a not-so quiet contemplation. At least you are not bored until Magali arrives via boat, but she is not alone. The hired sailors she brought with immediately start inspecting the warehouse crates and pick up specifically marked crates to load them on the boat. Meanwhile, due to the extra pair of ears in the cage, she asks you to meet her outside of the warehouse, where she speaks quietly: "Well, the building didn't burn down yet. Good job, I suppose. What of the Aspis agents?"
After explainign the situation, Magali seems pleased with the outcome. "If there are no protests, I would like to travel to your Lodge with you to meet Valsin in person. He picked a nice combination of brains and brawn for this assignment and I would like to give him my thanks in person."
The party heads back to the Sixwinged Drake, and Captain Zendrani assigns sleeping areas for you. Cypher arrives later, with a tale of her own wild exploits at the magistrate's office. You disembark in Absalom's dock at dusk on the same day, and head straight for the Grand Lodge.
The meeting with Valsin is one of compliments and commendations and compliments, and due to the essentially flawless execution of the operation by yourselves, Magali Delroya agrees to keep a closer connection to the Pathfinder Society, perhaps even becoming a member at some point. Valsin clearly shows his approval of your actions, and bids you a nice day. "I'm sure you have a rough few days behind you. Go get some sleep or a drink. Whatever keeps the spirit up. I have a feeling we shall see each other soon enough. For now, Goodbye.", he gestures towards the door, but asks Delroya to stay a while to probe information from her. With several years of experience with the Aspis Consortium, she will surely be able to provide insider knowledge that would prove useful. As you are leaving and closing the door to Valsin's office, you notice him picking up a set of papers and an inkpen with a quill to make notes.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand we're done. Good job, all. See discussion for other stuff.
Eadric Brightcoat |
As soon as the group leaves Valsin's office, Eadric starts bouncing about and congratulating his fellow Pathfinders for another job well done. He's particularly proud of how they managed to mess up the Aspis operations during their first two tasks without the rival agents even knowing anything was afoot. "...I mean, Cyph, I bet that a few of them were actually most glad we stepped in, huh? And all that swimming was, like, soo fun! We totally worked as a team there, you two are totally awesome for jumping in," He adds, looking at Helme and Raman, "Even though swimming isn't your thing, you like, totally trusted me and Ssres to get you out of there!" He continues patting people on their backs and tries to herd them to his favourite tavern for a few ciders and a game or two of cards.
Helme |
Helme will allow herself to be herded to the tavern. She drinks some drinks and plays some cards losing not too badly. "We did make a great team."
Cypher Starchild |
Cypher leans back, happy as can be as they sip their drink.
I won't say I was completely selfless in my sacrifice... those Kortos boys know how to show someone a good time...
Cypher laughs and plays, happy to spend time playing cards with their friends and talking about their adventures together.
