Tramtris Arvanxi |
I have no interest in talking to you two snacks. Just sweet cheeks there.. She looks at Tram

"Oh man Tarvi will be so pissed..... but its not like she actually tries to show affection. I've been sauve, nice, brought all sorts of gifts. Im handsome im.... wait snacks? She called them snacks.
He continued to smile, though he also tried to keep his guard up.
"What would you talk of my lady?"
Tramtris Arvanxi |
He glanced to the others, he had a bad feeling about this, but he did step a little closer.
"We are hero's My lady, seeking to stop the plague of creatures that infest the night, that hold the city in fear.We are here because we were told within these halls holds treasures that could aid our quest. Does your husband mind if attractive young sit so close to you?"
He did his best to make a hand motion at the others to be prepared for anything to happen... and to perhaps spread out a little.
Exxor |
When, the charming Lady references me to m'lord as a "snack", it is likely that our goals will be in conflict. However, as a merchant, I often see sworn enemies have exchanges in their mutual interest and betterment. I hope your discussion with Lord Tram will lead to such a judicious outcome. It would be foolish of the "snack" not to be prepared though. Exxor says with his most sincere business voice.

Tramtris Arvanxi |
"What do you know about the shadow beasts wandering the streets? Who created them? Why?"
He asked pressing the line of questioning. He didnt get too much closer, as Exxor said, being called snacks was worrysome, and she certainly wasnt a creature to be trusted. . . yet at least.
Exxor |
Exxor smiles, and makes a show of taking his hand off the holy symbol, letting it remain in easy reach. He liked the fact that she didn't like the symbol. Now he was glad that he had purchased them for everyone.
It is always wise to keep a holy symbol close by, but as you wish, m'lady. he responds with a polite nod.
Tramtris Arvanxi |
So not that im confused, or that tram is, but did this completely not a vampire just say she was a vampire hunter? did i read that right?
"That seems a very loaded question to ask, but we are being friendly. We aim to rid the streets of this shadow beasts. To make the people safer. You came to this place seeking Vampires? Why? Nothing in what we were told said there were vampires here... and you said long ago... How long ago?"
He asked tensing slightly. He had a bad feeling about this suddenly... very bad.
Exxor |
Good Tram, you got that too... she was a vampire hunter, who came here long ago and is now a creature of the darkness herself. If she was a vampire and wanted to drink our blood; she probably would have simply attacked. That means she wants something else... a release from her curse? She needs us for something, a task or deed she is not willing or capable of performing herself.
Exxor studies her features and listens to her words, trying to find the hidden clues of what she really wants.
Sense Motive: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (12) + 13 = 25
Exxor |
And so the hunter became the hunted. Truly, I am sorry M'lady. You must want something more from us than a quick meal, or we would not be talking, if you really wanted to make us a snack, you would have done so; or tried. I am hoping though, that our business can be more mutually beneficial. Exxor moves his hand further away from the holy symbol in what he hopes is a show of confidence and willingness to hear her out.
Exxor |
To be honest, I'd rather not battle until one or more of us falls. I am hoping that you want something from us, other than a fine meal. Perhaps you know a way to undo your condition, or you simply want vengeance, or you want to fulfill some nearly forgotten task before it is too late. And if you have a request, then you also have something to offer in return such as knowledge of this place, its denizens and of course, safe passage for the snacks. And again, to be honest, you probably don't get a lot of skilled visitors here so you have already figured we are your best chance to accomplish whatever it is you want done.
So M'lady, what is it that we can do for you?
Exxor smiles, not menacing or sarcastic, just hopeful that their group will be able to talk their way through this situation without having to buy Tram a new shirt.
Exxor |
Exxor picks up the stake, stowing his crossbow.
M'lady, I am truly, truly sorry. May Pharasma grant you peace.
He moves to the edge of the table. We shall avenge you, or join you in the heavens. I promise.
He places the stake over her heart.
M'lady, please tell me your name, that you will not leave this world forgotten.
When she has finished saying her name Exxor will drive the stake home.
Forgive me this, M'lady

Vahnwynne Malkistra is who I was. I thank you for this release, know that there is another of my kind awaiting you in the next room. Not only that but it is a cleric of Norgorber as well. Take my weapons, and you will find hidden in the corner my old gear.
+1 leather armor, +1 holy wooden stakes (2), 8 vials of holy water, silver tipped bolts, oil of daylight x1
Exxor |
Thank you Lady Malkistra and forgive me this, M'lady
Do you want me to roll for the coup de grace?
Will: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (19) + 7 = 26 Exxor blinks, but manages not to shed a tear at her sacrifice and loss.
I made her a promise, time to keep it. Lets gear up and go kill the vampire cleric of Norgorber. And looking at Miro adds, And no, you would not make a good undead lord, so stay alive.
Exxor |
Tram - do you want the leather armor +1, if not, I will wear it - sorry Miro, she was Medium size.
I think the stakes should get split between Tram and Miro or I,
holy water - 2 Tram 3 Miro 3 Exxor
split silver tipped bolts (are bolts sized?)
oil of daylight to Tram or Miro
And we should have a plan... granted it will fall apart before the end of round 1, but still...we should at least coordinate what we want to do.
Tramtris Arvanxi |
"give me the oil, I'll apply it to my Halberd. Miro, see if you cant sneak up and give the cleric what for, I'll keep the vampire at bay... hopefully. Exxor you have free reign to target whom you feel is your best target. I Will no doubt have my hands full with the vampire, so you boys take the stakes and if you get the chance use them.
He began frowning at the loss of the pretty vampire. He wondered if she was brought up in the right way If miss Tarvi might actually show him some favor when next they met.... well if they met. Vampires in the story were terribly powerful foes.
Nah you take the armor Exxor, Ill keep the breastplate for now. :)
Exxor |
I could be wrong, but I though she was saying the vampire is a cleric of Norgorber...one in the same, not two different foes.... one single vampire cleric of Norgorber... cause "just a vampire" would have been too easy.
Thanks Tram - But I took a closer look - with my chain shirt and armor attunement I am better off with my normal armor. Throw it in a bag for later.
Tramtris Arvanxi |
He frowned for a moment and then shook his head.
"I was so distraught with her story that i wasnt paying attention. Well then, I will do what I always do, try to stand in front of it and keep its attention, you two surround it and when you get the chance strike hard."
I did read that wrong >.<
MiniGM |
The shelves along the walls of this room are filled with glass
cases, each containing a different expanse of parchment
covered with stylized writing and elaborate wax seals.
Standing across the room, 40 feet stands a humanoid in a dark cloak with its back to you. It appears to be studying a parchment.
Exxor |
Exxor looks to Tram and Miro and smiles. Where previously he would be a twitching nervous wreck, he was calm. Lets go. I made a promise, and no matter what happens, it is good that we do this together. Get your holy symbols out. And may Calistra and Pharasma bless our efforts, for in this moment we seek vengeance and a final death for a soul that has remained here far too long. For Vahnwynne.
Reminder, Exxor bought everyone a silver holy symbol earlier
Tramtris Arvanxi |
"Well then i guess its time to say hello."
He said dryly drinking one of his few remaining healing potions, then applying the oil of daylight to his halberd.

Open the door and attack, ready for whatever the cleric-vampire has in store. Stake and holy symbol at the ready, silver tipped crossbow bolts armed. Stealth is out the window with a big glowing halberd shedding daylight.
