Thank you, that helps. Shall we see what else is waiting to burn us with fire or acid, slice, pummel, poke, chew or drop us from a height. Exxor smiles a mischievous smile and dusts himself off as he lists off a small portion of assaults they have endured.
Exxor |
Once everyone is back up on the walkway, on the "other" side of the bridge, Exxor will take a minute to search the area for traps, hidden doors, or caches.
He looks out from this vantage point, scanning the grounds below for insights into Delvehaven.

I feel like I am missing something - that we have been given all the pieces to a puzzle - but can't solve it. Exxor shakes his head, and looks back at the courtyard and walkways, and then his companions.
I hope I have not missed something that gets them hurt...
Tramtris Arvanxi |
"Missing? like an item or something of that nature? well turn out your pockets lets take a look below."
He began taking the time to take a look all over Exxor for anything obvious missing from its place.

Miro dangels and deftly snags a decaying bag, after coming back up he finds 2 potions CLW, a small journal written in some kind of code, and a vial of some kind of paste [ooc] this looks similar to the holy water paste you found way back when
Our heroes move on into another room
This chamber showcases a staggering array of model ships, most
of them damaged. Many of the miniature vessels seem to have
once been displayed inside bottles, but these displays are now
universally broken. The ships themselves come in all sizes, ranging
from a half-foot in length to a massive seven-foot frigate on a
stand in the middle of the room, its masts broken and hanging
askew in a tangle of rigging.
Is the that the smell of salt in the air?

He was quiet as he peered at the ships for once actually totally impressed... but still leary none the less.
"Keep a sharp lookout in case its not the ships that smell."
He warned even as he peered at the vessels.
Boom. :)

Suddenly Miro stops moving and stares into space
a brief vision of a hale and hardy human male arguing with a smaller half-elf male on the deck of a storm-tossed ship. “We didn’t lose all of this and endure those
torments to tinker and meddle with our one spoil from the
whole damnable affair.” Ilnerik answers with, “And yet again
the trademark Bisby hesitance stalls what could have been
a gripping chapter in his dreary chronicle.” Bisby’s reply is,
“Enough from you! You’re here to chronicle my deeds, not
dictate them! Keep your place!”, after which Ilnerik seems
ready to attack his companion
Miro stands motionless for about 2 rounds
Exxor |
Exxor sees Miro freeze and instantly looks in the direction he is staring, checking for some sign of danger.
Perception: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (14) + 15 = 29
If there is no indication of anything amiss, and Miro does not seem to be in pain, he moves up beside Miro and readies his crossbow to defend the halfling, but otherwise he waits for him to snap out of it.
Miro, you are ok - come back to us. Exxor whispers softly, hesitant to disturb him.
Tramtris Arvanxi |
He moved closer to the others as well.. but keeping his back to them one hand on his halberd the other fished out his remaining cure light wounds potion.
"Why did we agree to do this again?"
He complained to well mostly himself.

YOU DON'T HAVE A PARAKEET!!
Well, reason seems out - lets go with the crazy...
And if you don't start acting like an adult, we won't get you one either. Now, IF... you can you behave like a grown up, we will see.
Exxor lowers the crossbow and starts tapping his foot, hoping to throw Miro off, and snap him out of whatever has come over him.
If this doesn't work, Tram is just gonna have to whomp him.

O, that this too too solid flesh would melt, Thaw and resolve itself into a dew! Or that the Everlasting had not fix'd His canon against self-slaughter! O God! God! How weary, stale, flat and unprofitable, Seem to me all the uses of this world! Fie on't, ah fie, 'tis an unweeded garden, That grows to seed; things rank and gross in nature Possess it merely. That it should come to this! But two months dead, nay not so much, not two, So excellent a king, that was, to this Hyperion to a satyr, so loving to my mother That he might not beteem the wings of heaven Visit her face too roughly. Heaven and earth, Must I remember? Why, she would hang on him, As if the increase of appetite had grown By what it fed on; and yet within a month - Let me think not on't; frailty, thy name is woman - A little month, or ere these shoes were old With which she followed my poor father's body Like Niobe, all tears, why she, even she - O God, a beast that wants discourse of reason Would have mourned longer - married with my uncle, My father's brother, but no more like my father Than I to Hercules. Within a month, Ere yet the salt of most unrighteous tears Had left the flushing in her gall'd eyes, She married. O, most wicked speed, to post With such dexterity to incestuous sheets! It is not, nor it cannot come to good. But break my heart, for I must hold my tongue.
