He waited till he saw he had a clear path to the monster, then he charged forward his halberd coming down in a deadly and vicious arc.

Tram's attack glances off armor, but the bolt from Miro finds a gap.
Then very rapidly the vampire clutches his necklace and a burst of energy flares
3d6 ⇒ (1, 2, 2) = 5 and he heals, then he both draws a short sword and tries to slam Tram

>.< I forgot to update my defense statline actually a 17 just misses. His AC is 18 take that bloodsucker!
He saw the sword coming and just barely hopped back out of the way... A dark chill in the very air felt as if getting hit by that sword would have hurt more than just the cut of the blade.
"Whose idea was it to come here again?"
He called out to his allies setting his feet and bringing his halberd in a measured swipe at the vampire trying more to keep it at bay now than strike a killing blow.

Yes -
Surprise Strike (Ex): As a swift action, you can expend one use of mythic power to make a melee attack or ranged attack against a target within 30 feet, in addition to any other attacks you make this round. When you make a surprise strike, the target is considered flat-footed regardless of any class features or abilities it might have, and you add your tier to the attack roll. Damage from this attack bypasses damage reduction.

The vampire easily deflects the attack
2d20 ⇒ (14, 10) = 24
Again the shortsword bites into Tram, but the slam misses

"Grrrah!"
He growls out from the pain. He tried to counter the damage with an attack of his own.
| Exxor |
Can we try to stake him while he is down? - And do we know the stake through the heart bit... it is such a part of the mythos in and out of game, I just kinda assumed... otherwise we probably would have asked VW about the stakes...

Well I was sort of hoping Mini would direct me to the way to kill it, there are quite a few arguments on exactly how.
"Stake its heart! I'll lop off its head and we can annoint that in holy water... If it suddenly turns into a mist chase it back to its coffin and then well we do that!"
He panted out rolling up his sleeves and getting a grip on the haft of his halberd to begin the needed steps to slay the beast.
| Exxor |
Easy there Miro. Lets take a moment and look at what is here... perhaps there is some clue that would tie the shadowbeasts, the ancient relic and this vampire together. Full plate - Tram, you would look good in this!

Miro shuffles through the texts and finds
The declaration of Haliad I designating Sargava as

Appraise: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (5) + 13 = 18
Appraise: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (16) + 13 = 29

has added an additional section further limiting the

To the right collector these certainly have value

Our heroes continue on, the next thing of note is a room, that has laying about it, multiple corpses, of what appear to be vampires. In the center of the room is a pedestal, on it is a bird statuette, it pulses with bright light and occasionally sends out blasts of light. Otherwise the room is empty.
