Hisao quickly glances at the remains of the skeletons.
Per skeletons: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9
Before going invisible using his ring and assisting Paddy in checking for traps along the way and on the door.

Hisao quickly glances at the remains of the skeletons.
[dice=Per skeletons]1d20+6
Before going invisible using his ring and assisting Paddy in checking for traps along the way and on the door.
[dice=Per Aid]1d20+6
Hisao finds nothing of interest on the skeletal remains....

Michael Johnson 66 |

There is a trap there, mechanical in nature. Stand back, lads. Nit sure what it does. I'm feeling lucky....
[dice=disable device] 1d20+11
Paddy dismantles an elaborate scythe blade trap on the door, silently, without triggering the trap or causing undue noise....

Hoenheim Dobberkau *Nacht* |

Round 1
=======
Nacht gets riled up as various chittering and buzzing comes from his person opening the door to reveal what is inside. He rushes up to the necromancer if he is within sight.

Michael Johnson 66 |

The door now opened, the room beyond is revealed to be a 30-ft-by-30-ft square chamber with a 30-ft high ceiling from which another wrought iron and crystal chandelier hangs, lighting the chamber with red candles that burn with reddish arcane light....
A musical instrument the size of a smallish pipe organ without any pipes--a clavichord--rests against the opposite wall from the open door. Standing in front of it, back turned to the party, is a tall, thin figure wearing the black robe of a priest, with a black cowl over the head.... The figure turns around to face you as the door is thrown wide, revealing a gaunt, pale visage of a human man of indeterminate age....

Hisao of the Yellow Reeds |

Round One
Hisao, invisible, loops around behind the necromancer to get a flank with Nacht and stabs the evil wizard.
Flank Invisible attack on Flat Footed Pierre: 1d20 + 6 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 6 + 2 + 2 = 171d6 + 1 + 2d6 ⇒ (5) + 1 + (6, 5) = 17

The Necromancer screams in pain as the ninja appears out of thin air, sticking a wakizashi in his back!

Alphonse Veritas |

I was waiting on Iommi and Paddy in case what they did affected my actions.
But eh. Whatever.
Alphonse calls down the Wrath of God on Pierre. Smite.
"You're through, defouler of the dead. Your life ends here."
Alponse moves forward, flanking with Hisao, and drops the hammer.
Earthbreaker: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (11) + 13 = 24
Damage: 2d6 + 14 ⇒ (3, 5) + 14 = 22
And my AC is 20 and my Touch AC is 15 for the duration.

Paddy |

I was waiting for Iommi, since he's before me but I can go now I reckon..just gonna stabby stab anyways...lol.
Paddy rushes forward and thrusts his shortsword at the necromancer.
This is for trying to sacrifice wee babies to your dark gods, ye nasty blighter! a rage burns is the Irishman's eyes.
attack: 1d20 + 7 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 7 + 2 = 151d6 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 52d6 ⇒ (6, 1) = 7 going for a flank opposite Hisao

Are other people waiting for some reason?
Sorry,....
Today (Saturday, "Al Pacino Day") is Mike's B-Day and I got our Thursday group and our Saturday group to do a surprise party for him, combining our PCs into one mega-group of adventurers for one session to wreck havoc in one of his megadungeons.
Anyway, Mike and I have been gaming and partying all day. (and reading my new Giantslayer AP that came in the mail)
But we'll focus back on this game soon; we don't meet again 'till Thursday night.
....(Actually, scratch that, Mike and I are meeting one of the other gamers in our Thursday group to do some stuff tomorrow evening (Sunday), but that shouldn't derail us from the PBP.)

Pierre the Necromancer |

I was waiting on Iommi and Paddy in case what they did affected my actions.
But eh. Whatever.
Alphonse calls down the Wrath of God on Pierre. Smite.
"You're through, defouler of the dead. Your life ends here."
Alponse moves forward, flanking with Hisao, and drops the hammer.
[dice=Earthbreaker]1d20+13
[dice=Damage]2d6+14
And my AC is 20 and my Touch AC is 15 for the duration.
Alphonse's earth breaker lands on the Necromancer's right shoulder with bone-shattering force!
AAAAAAAAHH!!!
The shoulder sags, obviously dislocated!

Pierre the Necromancer |

I was waiting for Iommi, since he's before me but I can go now I reckon..just gonna stabby stab anyways...lol.
Paddy rushes forward and thrusts his shortsword at the necromancer.
This is for trying to sacrifice wee babies to your dark gods, ye nasty blighter! a rage burns is the Irishman's eyes.
[dice=attack]1d20+7+2; 1d6+1;2d6 going for a flank opposite Hisao
Assuming Paddy's result of 15 is actually a 17 with flank bonus:
Paddy sinks his short sword into the vile Necromancer's abdomin!
UUGH!!!

Hisao of the Yellow Reeds |

Using up the last of his ki energy Hisao tries to put the magician down.
Magic is never good news he mutters as he concentrates on swinging his blade at the surrounded necromancer.
Flank attack on Pierre: 1d20 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 6 + 2 = 251d6 + 1 + 2d6 ⇒ (2) + 1 + (6, 1) = 10
Flank Ki attack on Pierre: 1d20 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 6 + 2 = 121d6 + 1 + 2d6 ⇒ (6) + 1 + (3, 3) = 13

The ninja stabs the Necromancer in the back with his first thrust....
AAAAAH!!!
....but the Necromancer dodges the ninja's second thrust!

Paddy |

Would ye just die already? Go straight to the depths of Hades with ye....
Paddy lashes out with his blade again.

Would ye just die already? Go straight to the depths of Hades with ye....
Paddy lashes out with his blade again.
[dice=attack] 1d20+7+2; 1d6+1; 2d6
The Irishman's thrust takes the Necromancer in the ribs, and he shrieks in agony!
YYYYEEEEAAAAAAAARRRRGGHHHH!!!!!
He sways unsteadily on his feet, bloodshot eyes darting about in search of an escape route....

Iommi-Tyr Magnusson |

The bolt flies a few inches shy of the Necromancer's head and sticks in the clavichord behind him!....
....And bounces back, hitting Pierre in his left eye socket, blinding him for the remainder of his brief, nefarious life!

Iommi-Tyr Magnusson |

Did anyone get a good look at his face -- to describe him to Father Renaud?
Iommi-Tyr Magnusson begins searching the area for several things:
1} Clues to who the Necromancer is and where he may go,
2} What his overall plans were down here -- and what his resources are,
3} If he has any allies in Paris or beyond we can report to the authorities (or track down ourselves),
4} If there is any connection to Conflagratious,
5} How we can stop the curse on the Gargoyles from Notre Dame Cathedral
Taking several minutes to search =
Perception: 24 = 24

There is little in this room to answer Iommi-Tyr's queries....
This appears to be a music room.... Besides the clavichord, there are a number of other instruments in the room, hanging on racks on the walls: a viole, a lap harp, a lute, a pair of shepherd's pipes, a hunter's horn, a zither, and a hand drum.
