How sturdy do the posts that the commandos are on look? If I hit them with the hammer would it be enough to cause them to wobble and make for unsure footing of the goblin on top of it?
Good question. The stockade is cobbled together from shipwrecks. It can't be too sturdy. I would say a blow to the post would cause a Goblin to make a DC20 Dexterity check or fall.
@Brandark. Cool. And Congrats again about the job.
Chief Ripnugget would not have been able to use his Spirited Charge feat. I was rereading the Charge rules and became confused. The old a Charge must be in a straight line has not changed, just the clarity in the Pathfinder RAW. As it turns out Ripnugget could have reached Stone and made a standard attack in the route he took. Since he missed, there will be no need to Retcon the attack.
As it is Valentine's Day, on this side of the pond, my wife and I will be going out this afternoon, then a dinner / dance this evening at the Grandview and we won't be coming home till Sunday late morning or afternoon.
I will not be bringing my laptop with me, so next post from me will be Sunday afternoon at the earliest.
At the conclusion of Burnt Offerings. You are about to be 4th level. Essentially 5th level, after defeating Nualia. That is of course if you defeat Nualia. ;)
Just for fun, I set up a previous encounter in miniature. I recently picked up the Goblin Mutant miniature (Korvus). I was surprised by his size. Calene was in the party at that time. Can you pick her out?
That is really cool! What tile system are you using there? Oh, and I should be back from the flu bug. That thing knocked me on my ass till about Sat night.
Those are Dwarven Forge pieces that I painted from the first Kickstarter. That and some various WotC Dungeon Tiles I used to represent the lids to the Zombie pits.

The Goblin's command of the "Common" tongue is adequate to comprehend Lyr's questions. "Me Podthickle," the odd little creature says with a touch of exuberance in his response to Lyr's first question. "We be many," he says with pride to her second question.
Everybody, I have been really enjoying GMing this game. So much so, that I am actually thinking about GMing another. This week I received in the mail, the first part of the Giantslayer campaign.
I need your honest opinion. And don't worry about hurting my feelings, I am a big boy. Have I done a good enough job with this campaign to try another; or do I need more practice at it.

Honestly? You have not only managed to get a fast paced game together, with nearly everyone staying, no small feat by itself, but you have found quite a few ways to make it stand out clean cut above most of the others I have played.
That being said, I would LOVE to play Giantslayer and I would love to try my sword and board dwarf!
Thanks, everyone. I would be honored if you could all be a part.
If Helikon picks a Dwarf, would that mean Mokshai would have to pick something other than a Dwarf? ;) Just kidding! We could have more than one Dwarf in the party.
Go ahead and submit characters here. You can discuss amongst yourselves what Classes and skills etc. to bring together in a new party. Same restrictions as the Burnt Offering campaign. I am going to need some prep time before I can make it live anyway.

This will be my char.
The 9th. Legion is a dwarven Faction, it is an army of lost dwarves fighting everywhere for dwarven communities under attack.
The 9.th
Brothers of the 9th.:
Here I see you stand from all around the world
Waiting in a line to hear the battle cry
All are gathered here, victory is near
The sound will fill the field, the 9th. will never yield
We alone are fighting for Torag and our halls
We own the right to live the fight, we're here for all the clans
Now swear the blood upon your steel will never dry
Stand and fight together beneath the stonen sky
Warriors everywhere - raise your weapons into the air
We're brothers, brothers of the 9ths
Like thunder from the sky - sworn to fight and die
We're brothers, brothers of the 9ths
Many stand against us, but they will never win
We said we would return and here we are again
To bring them all destruction, suffering and death
We are the hammers of Lord Torag, we are steel, blood and flesh.
There they wait in fury with swords in orcish hands
With dreams to be a supreme, first one should be a man
I call about and charge them all with a life that is a lie
And in their final hour they shall cry mercy before they die
If I should fall in battle, my brothers who fight by my side
Gather my shield and weapons, tell my family how I died
Until then I will be strong, I will fight for all that is real
All who stand in my way will die by steel
Warriors everywhere - raise your weapons into the air
We're brothers, brothers of the 9ths
@Ulfgard - What is the benefit of being in the 9th? Also how did Ulfgard in remote Trunau hook up with the 9th? It sounds too cool not to allow it, but I would like to see how it fits.
@Everyone. If you are interested in playing, and haven't already done so, I recommend downloading the Giantslayer Player's Campaign Guide. It is a free download.
Obviously traits in this guide are acceptable. Traits from other APs not acceptable.

I will post it when I get home, it is mainly some extra training a titel, access to dwarven weapons and armor at a small 10% discount for oneself.
To why here. There are some major dwarven citys close and Ulfgard moved here some time ago to pay a debt of honor. And if some major danger starts to lurk the 9th would like to have eyes and ears close to the danger. Belkzen is a major threat to all dwarven citys close by.
