I have created a GM specific profile for going forward. It is more appropriate for me to use in the GM role.
At present I am traveling using both a Windows based pad and an iPhone. Unfortunately neither one of these devices allow me to move the tokens in Google Drawing. :(
I have asked Kelvin to help with moving NPC tokens until I return to my trusty XP PC.
Again your advice is always welcome. The goal is for all to have FUN. And so far, I am really enjoying this, so thanks.
Things are about to get interesting, but I would like to have Brandark back to be a part. It really isn't good to miss the first encounter. Continue the RP, I populated the map with many of the prominent NPCs from town.
One more thing to Lyr and Elektra, is there a DDM or PFB miniature that would be suitable for your characters?
You were quick today. I was just finishing up the next post. It has the Enlarge Person effects. As I mentioned in the game play thread, it is best to get your actions in, even if it is a little ahead of time. At least I will have them to move the game play forward.
Brandark, I will take into account your Enlarged status with Round Two results.
Maybe Tower Girl? Weapon and clothing is wrong, but probably the closest I could find.
Female miniatures with polearm are very rare indeed in either the Dungeons and Dragons miniatures or Pathfinder Battles miniatures line. I might suggest the following:
I have more than one of these miniatures. I could trim the horns off the helmet on one to make her look less radical. At least the weapon is closer. I could trim that down too to look more like a Glaive.
But of course you are free to choose whatever miniatures you like, including staying with the Tower Girl. I am not sure how often I will be using miniatures. I just like to have the options.
Lyr, you can do a search on Reaper Mini's webpage and enter in pretty much exactly the specifications and it'll find minis that match. Most even have some sort of painted version too.
Hmm. That's a tough choice. Tower girl is a better representation of how Lyr looks, but Baphomet cultist is a better battle representation. I guess since it's being used for battle we'll go with the Baphomet cultist.
In my home brews, I used the "soft target" rule exclusively for range attacks where Precise Shot was not in play. Is Brandark penalized in his attack? I don't think so, but it would not be the first time I misplayed a rule (or likely the last).

I just thought of something.
Could someone do up a spreadsheet of things that we pick up. This way, we don't have to read several hundred posts to try and figure out what was picked up by us.
I would, but I am currently not at home, and I don't think that I would be able to rig something like that on this computer. :)
I think that I did that correctly. New to Google drive. If folks will pm me there email address (preferably a gmail account), I'll try and add you all directly
I do not know if it requires a gmail account, so why don't you just pm me your regular account and I'll try. If that doesn't work, then you can try the gmail route.
Ok, I have added two of youse guys (hey, I had friends from Brooklyn, NY). It looks like it does not have to be a gmail account.
Also, I have added the url to the end of my stat line so you should see the word "treasure" in light blue and it should take you there. As you send me email address, I'll add you with edit capabilities.
One more thing. In order to move forward with game play, I will be using the random dice roll system to roll your characters savings throws when applicable. And it is about to be applicable.
Note to Elektra: If you could get core stats on the Class/Level line it would be appreciated. Thanks!
Brandark and Garrath please note how Lyr is keeping up with HPs, with a "current HP"/"total HP" format. This is a helpful system. If you could do this too, it would be appreciated.
I have a thing for Excel, particularly in-bedded IF/THEN statements. Brandark just posted one. If G1 is not dead, attack it. If dead then stand up. Brandark can stand up. (By the way that is just a Move Action.)
Consider IF/THEN statements in your postings. This PBP system is obviously very different than the flow from ftf formats, as we all post at different times. The more options I have from your character the better the flow. It could never be perfect, but it would be cool to keep the flow going.
So far we have managed to get through many rounds fairly quickly. Everyone should be applauded for their posting diligence. Good job.
With everyone having access to move their own tokens, i am seeing another element in the game play. Initiative is more of a suggestion than a hard rule. More so, when the narrative can be enhanced as a result. I see the narrative as a more important element anyway.
For instance, Elektra moved to shoot at the Warchanter. Had this been following initiative, Goblin 2 would have had an Attack of Opportunity on Elektra. But I could see the assumption from Garrath's earlier post that Goblin 2 was no longer an issue. And with everyone moving their own tokens, I can see this fully. Garrath was already engaged with Goblin 2, I could see Garrath finishing it off before Elektra arrives next to him.
The narrative that Garrath killed Goblin 2 first makes the most sense in the situation.
Equally, I had Lyr, this round, go ahead of the Warchanter. Lyr did not have to move far to take another attack, where the Warchanter moved back to around the burning wagon. Lyr going ahead and attack made more sense in the narrative.
With this a Feat like Improved Initiative is not as valuable in this situation. We are early in this campaign. I believe Garrath is the only one with Improved Initiative. I am fine with Garrath changing it out for another Feat, that is if we agree with my assumptions on game play and the narrative.
This system may also give some advantage to the earlier posters. (Advantage Elektra GMT). But I am cool with this too in that ultimately I will determine, as best I can, the results of the round.
I think that would work just fine. It seems like the narrative is more important in this setting anyway.
However if people have a hard time letting go of initiative entirely, I do a similar system in my own PBP games using block initiative (which lessens the hit to Improved Initiative). GM rolls init for everyone, but only once for each group of monsters (in this case once for the goblins, once for the warchanter), then group A (those who got higher than the monsters) goes in the order they post, then the group of monsters with high init, Group b (those who got higher than the goblins but lower than the warchanter) in the order they post, the goblins, group C (those who didn't beat any monsters in initiative).
I think both systems work great for PBP, it just depends on what balance you want to work with.
I am probably in the minority here, but I like individual initiatives for the PCs and cluster initiative for the Foes. If it were me, I would have rolled 1 initiative for all the goblins, regardless of which "wave" they were in and 1 initiative for the warchanter and any other "boss" encounters, and have that posted in each DM "summary" / Foe action post at the end of each of them.

Although I would have kept the Warchanter "secret" till it showed up. Then each of us can relatively know what is going on and make choices, and you can make sense of it all.
All the above said, I will get along and go along with whatever the DM & Group comes to as a consensus.
